Description : Also called 'L'elisir d'Amore" is an opera in 2 acts by Gaetano Donizetti (1832) . I particularly like this movement and tried to sing it for pleasure . As I'm not a specialist of classical singing, it's surely full of defects but it's very dear to me so I'd like to share it with you all, my friends .
Take good care,
Bises ;)

I sing light classical material. However, I love the way you sing this Aria, Janis.

Hello Carole, motivating expression. She does have a beautiful heart. I like the selection you chose for this time. Reminds me of a familiar place. Enjoyed the connection you have with your music, especially songs like these that capture a good view of you. Your covers are really nice to listen and one could believe what you achieved is an adaptation that suits the feelings you invoke. I also couldn't hear any noticeable issues with this take. Thank you for sharing with us Peace.

I was clapping at the end of this. Bravo! I didn't hear any defects. Stunning voice. Without classical training! you are a natural. I loved it, especially the trill at the end. Well done. regards Rach

Brava Janis!
I am sure that Donizetti would have liked your voice: you bring this aria to a new freshness.

And I strongly disagree with you: it's surely *NOT* full of defects!

Thanks again.

Pavarotti never did this any better than you just did...

I cannot believe I missed this.

Once again, you have rendered this old Bear speechless. Absolutely stunning performance.

You truly are a gift to all of us. Thank you for sharing your immense talent with all of us. Thank you for the download as well. I have added this to my collection of classical greats because you belong right there with the best of them. I hope all is well.

So, in a way, I'll be there when you'll have a nice coffee listening to that, Bear ;)
Oh la la .. don't speak such undeserved compliments ... ! I've just been in love with that piece for a long time and wanted to put a little of my heart in it, with vocal weaknesses in terms of "legato" and many other defects .. but it finally sounded like I wished, as best as I could .
My warmest thank you for your so gentle comment, dear Bear ... !
Yeah, how can't all be well with such nice people as you paying me a visit here ? ;)
Big hugs from my snowy Frenchie village,
Janis

Hi Behnam ;)
The music's not mine, it's an instrumental version I found on the web and this piece was originallly sung by Pavarotti . I just wanted to make it mine for fun and sing it with my heart . I'm happy you liked it and spoke your impression about it . Thanks a lot for your gentle words,
Regards and wishes in return,
Peace,
Janis ;)

Well...I certainly have no special knowledge of classical vocalists Janis71...but I know a when song is performed with such wonderful talent and feeling...as you do it here. I have listened to and enjoyed many professional singers (though not as many in classical performances) but you prove here what I have oftens felt....that some of the best vocalists on our little planet are those undiscovered gems who make no claims to fame...but just shine like a light with their own talent.....We are fortunate to have these little music communities that allow us to hear what you do...Bravo....I am a fan........Ed

I am fortunate to have the wonderful opportunity to share my humble stuff with so friendly and welcoming people as you all . This community's very dear to me and brings a lot of joy in my life .
I thank you so much my dear friend for your warm words .

Description : Hi, I just had to try and do my own type of music tribute to the sad and unfortunate events in Manchester the other night

I start the song off with a type of music box to represent like a young child and then i go into a violin strings to try and set the sadness and then after a while i used some soft drum and clicks to represent time ticking and then with just the piano and then in the middle of the track it picks up pace a bit and i decided on this because to represent the strength of the people that will stand strong and i once again also put the music box in with this and my reason was to be strong for the rest of the children and then i finsh up with the piano again and the ending on the drum to remember the lives sadly lost and a type of silence if it were

i really feel so sadened by this event and it trully has me in bits

may we all come together and forever be strong and stand up to these horrible people who think they can destroy us and our children and families and loved ones

God Bless you all and stay safe and be strong

Description : Recorded this a while ago.. Raw, lovely.. I'm an electric guitarist so this is unfamiliar territory for me... I always wanted to master classical acoustic and I will one day. Video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMt7o3ty9pw *Edit* Despite this being painfully obvious, this is not my composition, it's an effort to learn classical guitar and note the progression for future nostalgia.. This site is making me think I should give the anti-vaxxers some credence. Ffs.
