Listen To Nella Fantasia-My Little Version Of It Cinematic Song By Janis71 At Looperman.com

6th Feb 2013 17:49 - 13 years ago
Description : Song sung in Italian . Based on the theme "Gabriel's Oboe" from the film "The Mission" ( 1986 ).
Music by famed composer Ennio Morricone and lyrics by Chiara Ferrau .
Someone asked me to try the beginning and thus made me discover this beauty .
I hope it'll sound audible, lol ;)
Take care my friends,
Bises,
Janis

Your voice is dreamy. Your version of "Nella Fantasia" is just amazing.
I am glad I invited my sleeplessness to this wonderful music by very dear Carole.
I would like to join Brillbilly in giving you and your heart and feelings a standing ovation.

Thx a lot for having invited your sleeplessness here ( love the way you said that ) . You're always welcome ...
Take good care Mina . I'm gonna check if you have uploaded this second part I'm eager to listen to .

I Love Raw Live Talent with Mistakes and inperfections, it shows us all that we are imperfect beings on a perfect world. Most if not all of my favourite music is Live Like Dub Fx, Damien Rice, Beardy Man and Acoustic Guitar Lovers on youtube doing there own renditions of the music they love. I play Acoustic Guitar and write my own material , but i have never recorded or uploaded, there is no reason or rhyme. I would love to hear you Sing with the Acoustic Guitar. You Are Beautiful :)

Oh no Behnam, certainly not a lesson as I've never learnt how to sing and it's full of defects ( legato and accuracy ) .
I'm happy you enjoyed it for I put a lot of heart in it .
Take care, dear gentleman ;)

But as I continue to listen I hear the darkness shadow over me, waiting. Thank you for sharing this listen with us. Appreciated. Respects to you FF my good friend.

I am absolutely at a loss for words. Like Ed, if I try to describe how this made me feel, I will simply fall miserably short. Very few singers have the ability to leave their listeners speechless. You are one of those few.

All I can say is BRAVO young lady, and hope for an encore. I will cherish this download (thank you for that) and enjoy it over and over again.

You really are a marvelous talent. Thank you for sharing your gifts with all of us.

Aw ... you can't imagine how much your words move me, Ed ... !
Coming from such a gifted musician as you and a so nice person, they touch me a lot ...
I did my best with the tempo, t'was quite hard to stick to it but I sang it with my heart and all this song was telling me .
Thank you very very much my friend for leaning on the Frenchie amateur I am .

Description : 4!_(07@2nd) harmonic protocol reboot sequence

This track is an elaboration of dgalantic’s track “Starting Over 0172257.” It is almost entirely comprised of loops by other artists on looperman. The newsreel in the intro section is from public domain footage of the Vietnam War. Prince Fatty chimes later in with some words of wisdom. The track was sequenced with Mixtikl and edited in Audacity.

Loops from the following artists are included:
1. ThatJeffCarter’s guitar “feedback 197765”
2. three of Nightingale’s harmonica trills: “angels 0088377, inner light 0088361 and never and never 0088366”
3. Heavily fx’ed vocal excerpts from Eshar’s “7th Dimension 0002644”
4. Dcmack’s rhythm loops “2 bass drums 1- 0085449, 2- 0085446, and 4- 0085448.”
5. Steelyvibe’s choral wash “luno frunezo 0005719”
6. Nightingale’s guitar loop “diving deep 0043488”
7. Rasputin1963’s chorals “ soul ladies gospel riff 0088641 and reggae soul girls choir 0087693”
Genre: Cinematic

Description : Dark, slow, ambient, cinematic jazz with funereal piano turning into something much funkier, psychedelic and beautiful in the second half. Out of the darkness and into the light, you could say. Instruments: electric guitar + bass, lots of synth sounds, including a horn, double bass, another big legato bass, pizzicato strings, two types of piano, a heavily delayed slide guitar instrument, zither, synth arp, one brushy drum loop, kettle drum rolls and 4 programmed acoustic drum kits. This is quite a special track for me and is only the second I've put in the cinematic genre. The more you listen, the more it changes (it even has key changes) and the last three minutes are really quite far out and should probably be longer. Best track I've made for a few months. Interesting thoughts and reflections appreciated. Free sex for the best reviews...

Description : I'm going to file this under Cinematic. It's quite a dark and brooding track, maybe suitable for a Sci Fi film? I kept things simple with this, used a few loops as building blocks, then added some synths (Vital and Z3ta+ vst's). Probably a bit different to the other tracks I've uploaded so far? But I like a bit of variety. Feel free to download or comment. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

Description : It's been a long time since I posted a track.

Voyager...
I wanted to go with something very spacey. Huge sci-fi fan, from anime to cheesy 60's B movies. I didn't want something all dystopian. It's been done. So, I kinda thought I would make something about a lonely space traveler. I named the track after the Voyager I space satellite. The 'Voyager' in my head(vision?) was just an astronaut. But, he watches the earth die. The last person alive scenario. Hard to imagine what the last person alive would have in his head....

Track Detail - Sequenced in Reason 4. Nothing on this is a real instrument. The intro pad is a weird little Malstrom patch with a envelope filter and chorus. The chorus module is cv modulated non synced so its kind of wild. The first pluck instrument is a Koto. It's not played the way it should so it sounds more like an acoustic guitar. The violins are a Mellotron patch. The acoustic guitar isn't a preset patch but was made using Reason's other presets. I like that patch. Could of tried recording a guitar but I found that mock up to be alright. Other sounds were some weird modulated textures made with Thor. Drums were just samples that were filtered and pitched to fit. Kick and snare played off my Axioms pads. Hats were in a Redrum module.

Listen and enjoy. If you don't like it, leave me violent feedback lol. Cheers :D
