Will You Play For Me Feat Patricia Edwards - 6Hat

Name: Will you play for me feat Patricia Edwards
Duration: 230 s
Channel: 6Hat
Description: I'm not really crazy about my work on this track, but Patricia's voice is way too good to leave this track unfinished in my library, so here it is. Seriously, the beat's alright, but Patricia? Daaaamn, check her out. Oh, and it's not ambient, I hate trying to come up with a genre for my tunes. Deal with it :)

i'm with you on not getting the genre thing all the time - but you do create a great sounding, well-balanced tonal landscape, let's say! it's a rich bed for Patricia's vocal. and yes - she delivers. nice work, brother.

Thanks for the continued support, MS. I love when a good set of vocals can make my beats sound respectable :)

Description : I'm gonna file this under Drum and Bass due to the beats I used. Though it's probably not DnB in the strictest sense of the word, as it starts off with a Cinematic vibe till the beats kick in (apologies for that, as I don't have a vast knowledge of DnB!). Apart from the beats and a couple of other loops, all synth/bass parts are played by me using ThornCM, Poly Max and Z3ta+ vst's. Let me know what you think? All feedback is always appreciated. Thanks.

Description : Technology is a great thing. But I'm glad to know that if it ever fails ... or simply isn't there ... I can always play my guitar or drums, or just sing. In any case, the power didn't go out during this production ... so it's electric. And eclectic.

Description : Atmospheric, late-night UK garage and liquid drum & bass blending deep rolling basslines, shuffled breakbeats, intimate breathy female vocals and rhythmic DJ turntablism. Chopped vocal samples and hypnotic hooks.
