Description : Haven't been as vigilant as I should with Looperman uploads, so just in case there are people here who DO listen to my stuff, thanks a heap, and have another track :) This time around I learn how to sample. The song contains samples from the great Ahmad Jamal's 'Swahililand'. This is my first time adopting samples into my music, and marks my first step towards Jazz-Hop. Wasn't sure about the speed (95 bpm). Opinions?

sounds more like hip hop than jazz and is a great song.

thanks man. Unfortunately there was no option for 'jazz-hop' which was the genre i was aiming for. I might move this over to the hip-hop category though (if i can edit the genre on looperman, that is).

Cheers mate. Yeah this guy is brilliant. To be honest, I only found him through an artist called Nujabes. Sad I never knew him earlier. Hope my Jazz-hop arrangement does justice to the great Jamal. Description : Something i did when i was about 15, and when i still made beats. This particular track is actually the reason i decided to get into composing at all. I had a good run with the beats and hip-hop scene, but i always had a leaning more towards composing and this, i think, is the catalyst for that revelation.
