Enjoyable. Sounds like this beat was made for his voice.

    Hi Andre,
I rarely recycle tracks for my remix. This one, as many others, was made for his voice.
It was relaxing making it... thanks.

Sail away..Yeah.. Sing it man. Melody sweet and a little Country twand in there with a touch of Jazz. Vox is natural and flowed. Musical performance cute and appropriate. Your range is amazing I think you have a Flava' that can span arenas untouched. Cool Piece my friend!

I really like to make music, it's one of my favorite types of art and the one I spend more time on.

    Hi Piero

This is a great production and it all fits together very nicely. Top job. Love it. A very accessible song I can sing along with. Really good. Great vocals. Catchy chorus. Wonderful bass line. Super mix (have you upgraded your sound system?) Nice rhythmic feel to it. Well done. Pop music is alive and well! Congratulations on a wonderful song.

Ha ha ha... no, I haven't made any upgrade. I only better balanced the eq on my "custom" speakers and started fighting with you against this embarrassing war of decibels.
Most of the compliments go to PowderJay1.
Thanks again for the suggestions Richie.

Great simplicity in music, but a great ballad effective .....

This is my first experiment in this genre, I think I never made ballads and I found it fun. Maybe I'll go on this way a bit.

Great song, as always. The music picks up all the feelings of this great voice. A delight.

Please, tell no one there's no real instrument in it (everything is synthetized and played on midi-instruments) apart the birds... oh, the birds have no autotune on.
    Thanks for listening.

I just gotta let this out but I love your avatar! lol. I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. Thanx! :P

Very nice mix indeed. I can hear how you kept the dynamics of his vocals even. When I work with vocals sometimes I add some compression just to smooth it out, and sometimes I just go in and chop those individual voice samples and fix them from there.

That's the beauty of it, there's so many ways to do this. You just gotta find what's comfortable for you and what kind of gear you have to work with.

Enough of my blabbering, nice work man.

    Hi dachopdocta,

thanks, lol, my avatar is made to attract your attention. What you say, tells me I made it right.

In many of my other past productions I devastated vocals in order to bend them to my will. In this revisited version I tried to maintain the original mood, as if it were a new creation just exit on the radio. Anyway I always use compression and other tools on vocals... this time those birds were flown away if I had abused them.

Have a nice trip on this ship.

Simple is all you need with this, and you've simply done a very nice job! Wish those vocals were a little longer, and I LOVE the birds :-)

    Reply by PieroPeluche

I love simplicity, where it's possible. My cats too love the birds... ehm.
    Thanks Patricia.

Description : LYRICS - you pick up the pieces / moving along now / you don't know him anymore / he broke your heart a thousand times / his words cut you like a knife / take a deep breath now / look what you're doing / you don't even recognize / that he was not the one you needed / not the one you needed / bleeding out now with all your emotions / all your sorrows on the floor / you can't take it anymore ///// look at you on the floor / peace is hard to find in war / the memories are like a sore / so you try your best to slam the door / but I wanna' be in your life / wanna' heal all your strife / I am more than you have ever wanted / just give me a chance / just give me a chance / give me a chance==================================================================== Loops used: Xyilent - ( and KaloKidd ( I think I fixed the EQing issues and pulled back some sibilance as well as increased the overall volume. Opinions welcome :) Everything done by yours truly except for the two loops :3
