Scorch - CFactor

Name: Scorch
Duration: 648 s
Channel: CFactor
Description: my attempt at a cinematic piece. has some electronic elements because it was inspired by the daft punk song solar sailer from the tron soundtrack. it turned out way longer than i want it. the full version is about 14 minutes so i cut it short and lowered the quality to fit on looperman. please leave critical reviews of what i have so far. thanks. 70bpm

I really love the percussion foundation, the piano and electronics can come in with a bit more variation to break it up a bit. I really enjoyed the piece, but feel it did get repetitive pretty quick. I have to repeat how much I love the percussion though, throw in a little more variable and this has got some major potential!

thanks for the reply. it took quite a while to get the percussion sounding decent, definitely a new experience. totally agree on the repetition, just havent put any more work into it. CF

An excellent concept, which I am quite a fan. Still, the theme is a bit too repetitive and lacking in variation. I honestly think it's a good base that you need to evolve.
A good and quality hearing, despite the significant compression.

Description : For some odd reason, the titular acapella I used for this remix had vanished from Looperman. Luckily, I saved it before it disappeared.

Anyway, props to Stephanie Kay for this acapella! I've always wanted to remix Stars Collide, but I never got around to finally making a good instrumental for it. The acapella was akin to that of Genki Rockets' work (ESPECIALLY the lyrics), so I tried to retain the same vibe. Enjoy!

Description : This is a worship song celebrating God's beautiful creation, unfailing grace, and boundless love. It reflects on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the gift of salvation, and the light of God that shines even in the deepest darkness. It is a reminder to rise each day with gratitude and give praise to the One who saves, guides, and sustains us.
