Description : I made this track for the Looptrack Challenge. Wasn't sure of the genre, kind of a mixture of RnB, Jazz, and Funk.. so fusion it is! If anyone has a more accurate suggestion feel free to let me know. but more importantly, hope you enjoy.

This fusion track was uploaded by Brent88. They retain full copyright and you are only entitled to listen and in some instances download. For further details on how you can use tracks see the terms and conditions and the tracks section of the help area.

Lovely piece of work as ever from ya good-self, Brent my friend. Think everyone else has pointed out all the good stuff going on but I am going to "big up" the sax. Keep 'em coming mate

Brent88 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thanks VSS, a positive review from you alone is worth the upload. Hope all is well my friend :)

Kgomotso 25th Jul 2011 09:06 - 15 years ago

Man, this is really great stuff. I love the drums, piano and the horn. The whole arrangement and mastering is great. Keep up the good work. God bless

Your review on a fusion track of mine means a lot to me, my friend. This is somewhat foreign territory for me and something you definitely excel at. I truly appreciate the kind words. I hope all is well, Brent

Fresh track, very cool! All loops hmmm? awesome! Great job putting them together, it all flows so smoothly.

Very enjoyable listen. Great job.

Brent88 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thanks for checkin it out and droppin a review :) i'm not really used to making music with all loops but it was definitely a fun challenge to be a part of

3rdNippleMusic 27th Jun 2011 00:53 - 15 years ago

hah, nice little drum tricks. this is smooth bro, all loops eh, cooool - ShortBusMusic inspired - so what loops didja use bro ?

I love those soaring siren synth sorta sounds, mmmmm !

Neal Visher ; )

Brent88 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thanks for the review man! This is all loops, at a couple points i had to cut them up to fit the track how i wanted them too.. for example, the flute trill i just cut out from a flute solo loop haha. I got most of the loops from sony sample packs and a few from prime loops :)

Spivkurl 26th Jun 2011 23:04 - 15 years ago

Yeah, it sounds much better now! Glad I could help!

Brent88 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Awesome, thanks for the thumbs up on the new mix!

Spivkurl 26th Jun 2011 22:37 - 15 years ago

This is some nice fusion! I like the epiano! For some reason the mix sounds a little hollow to me, like it's missing all the low to midrange frequencies. Maybe that was intentional though! Nice track! Thanks for sharing!

Brent88 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Nope, that was not intentional hahaha, i really appreciate the feedback! it sounded hollow to me as well but i couldn't figure out what was wrong. Anyways i figured it out and updated it! hopefully this sounds considerably better. thanks again Spiv for confirming that something was definitely wrong haha

Nice work man..I'm really digging the mood this song gives off...Awesome slap bass!

Brent88 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thanks colin, This one was fun to put together. i keep going back and making little changes here and there, but i think this might be the final mix ha

ShortBusMusic 26th Jun 2011 16:13 - 15 years ago

Nicely done Brent. I really loved the drop at the 1:15 mark, smooth as butter. Mix is spot on as well. Fusion at its finest I would say.

Well done brother!!!

Bear

Brent88 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thanks Bear! hearing your song for the challenge made me wanna take part in the fun. I've made a few changes already to the mix and sample choices, but i think i'm ready to call it done haha. Glad you enjoyed :)
