Description : nice little ambient track i made today :) sort of a transition type track for the album i hope to put together with these songs i'm making lately. As the title suggests, it's very shimmery and clean sounding. Think of a surreal icy environment, maybe featuring a frozen lake, where you can see the water bubbling underneath.

Description : the other end of the scale from me, yep people, this is a ballad. its for all the people who have lost somebody long before their time was due,
i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses

Description : Ambient, psychedelic chill out rock or something or rather. Lyrics, vocals, guitars and keyboards myself. One drum loop used (free Loopmasters ambient pack). If you want a bit of a back story on the words check the lyric page.

The realization, and inevitable acceptance that the last ember of life is smouldering into obscurity. Then finally, and peacefully, exhaling the final breath of life.
This is a dark ambient track that will go between two of my other tracks. A good pair of headphones/earbuds are highly suggested for this one.
Opinions and criticisms are welcome. Enjoy, and take care. V.

Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.

Description : I intentionally made this song minimalistic. The drums I spliced together from some drum loops I had, there's one other loop in the mix, the rest of the instruments are played by me (bass and synths). I used the excellent (and free) Cakewalk z3ta+ vst and the BBC Symphony vst. My intention was to create a very simple and dream like ambient track. Feel free to download or comment. I liked it very much, so i decided to make an instrumental with her vocals.

I very much enjoyed your track Crystal Shimmers. At 50 seconds in, I fell in love with it. Such an eclectic mix of beautifully mixed and mastered sounds. The depth and vibrancy of each section was very enjoyable. There was a section where you may have had some clipped peaks going on. But even with the clipped peaks, it was enjoyable. I hear some like to hit just above the peaks to make the track ALIVE. Good Job!
Such music could easily find it's way into Hollywood or any such area needing talented artists like yourself. Have you tried placing your tracks with video or scenes to see how they unfold? Again, thank you for sharing Crystal Shimmers with the group. I give it a thumbs up for sure!
