I've been into music for as long as I can remember. For one, piano was my main instrument. I can remember banging out tunes from my head as early as six years of age.
Now with the advent of digital music, Vst's, DAWS and all else, I have found another playground to bang out such tunes. However, not without sacrifice. It seems there is quite a learning curve to all the digital age.
I learn new things each day and look forward to learning even more at looperman. Thanks for such a great website.
Anything Piano. It's the most versatile. So, I have to stick with my favorite. Besides, you can do almost anything with the right VST.

Me
To be honest, I have a lot of audio books. I know it isn't music. But my ipod seems to like them.
Ok, I confess. I'm an 80's kind of guy. I love 80's and 90's music. So, Madonna, Elton, George Michael are all favorites of mine.
Ok, this is quite telling. But when I heard the dance version of Madonna's Vogue, I needed a hand towel I became so excited. I love good deep pumping music; always have, really. Just not that good at creating it myself (at the moment).
Influences? Seems I enjoy singing pop ballads myself, along the same style as Elton John. But I'm not stuck in that particular area. I can go elsewhere easily.
Dance music is a favorite. Who doesn't enjoy the rush of such music at the club or wherever? If only I could wrap my brain around some of the compositional concepts, I'd be set. So, this is a new area for me as I venture forward.
Moby, Elton John, Ambient, easygoing stuff. If I could master Dance Music, I'd be burning up some clubs. Working on that one!
If I am not creating music, I am working out and keeping fit. I enjoy nature, away from people and crowds.
