If you have used this acapella leave some feedback or say thanks and post a link to the song you made. Apart from being the right thing to do it also encourages artists to upload more acapellas.
@ VirginiaSlimm: You should have received the link to the playlist of your stuff and of the top Looperman vocals I've produced tracks for in two separate playlists, but just in case here they are faithfully reproduced for your, and anyone who's paying attention [ie: nobody]:
Make the remix! My french is still pretty terrible. I wouldn't even know where to start on azerty francais.
I always stand high. I'm doing it right now.
Thanks for working on the vocal.
-Welcome to LM btw. Great graphic. I have to admit I liked it better when I thought it was a gun in a hand rising out of the wetland marshes of cat-tails. more mysterious. :D..
oh, forgot "Cool Like You", pretty much all guitar. Also re-reading, I realized you were referring to the vocal performance needing chopping and tuning, which was why I said it is easier to do this with separated vocal stems... but I won't even ask.
Hey MW, I appreciate all the remixes you made with my vocals. I balance a lot of networking and music creation, so I literally can't keep track of more than one release at a time. If you send me an email with the links to the remixes you made I'd like to listen to them.
Separations?

No! Not nobody sees the wizard! Not nobody no how!

@ VirginiaSlimm: "so many choices"? meh! There are maybe 4 or 5 individuals who, well, who can fuckin' sing, and that's probably partially due to the way in which the search parameters here do not allow you to view the acapella that has the most downloads, as I suspect that such a feature would reveal more than 4-5 motherfuckers that can sing.
I don't have all month to search chronologically through this mess but suffice to say every now and then I spot a gem.
I could do better with totally separated vocal stems so that I could actually fix spots that drift slightly, [you know, using auto-tune the way it was MEANT to be used...], impossible with the combined harmonies, unison, & octave singing you pull off, but every time I suggest that to singers here on Looperman, I get the cold shoulder.
- Social-media-distancing if you will.
I say again, MEH!
oh, and version 2 is mapped at 162BPM in Ableton, then I transferred the stems to Digital Performer for a better mixdown, where exactly were you hearing a tempo drift or problem, my ears 'prolly need a good rest, was up all night]
I have not really tinkered with any of these demos yet, but tinker I will.
[I prefer "Lock Down" version 1 but Jazz tends to make people seasick, ahh well, the vocal is Jazz for what it's worth IMHO]
check out what I did with I'M EVIL, HOTBOX, NEEDLE IN THE HAY, & COOL LIKE YOU if you like guitar, bass & drums use expressively, I made a playlist on my Soundcloud.
Very nice guitar playing. Really good rock track, and memorable arrangement. Feel free to chop up and retune the vocal to fit your arrangements. When you have a singer that can't talk back, and does as you ask, go for gold. hehe. It's at 162bpm if you want to beat map it.
Good track man!
In tune...Well.. I tried :D
Glad you could use the track. I'm going to upload the video and post it in descriptions for remixers to use or pass on.
Thanks for choosing this material to work on when you have so many choices. That's the best compliment!
