Description : (26/19) Cyberflares - Pulse topped with my "vocals"
Couldn't let this nice piece from Cyberflares untouched, had to do something with it and topped it with my "vocals". 1 vocal track mangled up to up to 7 voices. Lyrics sourced from the net.
I had to stop tweaking, so here it is.

This track originated during a session with my grandson Linus. He determined the sound selection, the musical concept, the keyboard playing, and the title. I assisted as a technician on the Reaper laptop and handled the recording. Later, I expanded the first 2 minutes and 8 seconds with transition sounds, added extra melodies, reused parts, applied automations, and handled the mix.
I's different and I like it, I hope you do too.

In "A Tribute to Woolf," I pay tribute to Woolf for his wonderful Vital presets. With the exception of the kick drum in Sitala, all instruments (using Vital) were created by Woolf.
Vital presets in order of 1st appearance:
BS_Chord_Stack_1, LD_Cyber_Brass_1, LD_Opal_2, LD_Shadow_1 (sounds like: Hammered Dulcimer), PAD_Digicloud_1, PAD_Harmonix_1, PAD_Failsafe_1, LD_Faux_1

This is Deliverance by Pnnywze, untouched, topped by my vocals. Credits to pnnywze for his beautiful creation.
The lyrics are based on results of multiple internet sessions; only the closing phrase is mine.
The vocal is one track with phrase takes. The audio output is routed into 3 extra tracks faking a low voice, a girls voice and a voice from an old radio.
Hail to Reapers stretch markers, a life saver for timing :)

What started as a project learning how to setup an arpeggio in Vital ended up in this track.
1 Drum track using Sitala.

Just playing around using Sitala and Hype. The title relates to the colour I use in the arrangement for lead tracks, in this case 12 of them.

Description : Back to instrumental and some experimenting using Vital at 120 bpm.
The name came from a Vital preset that I messed up so much that it deserved it's own name "PlingPlong", you hear it for the first time at 0:10.

Description : Working with the acapella "Thoughts" by Odarka, ran out of ideas interrupted for my previous track "Electric Blue" and returned to finalise.
EDM style (attempt) at 130 BPM in A# minor.
I used the acapella as is, inserted 2 breaks, used many slices to enhance the experience (pad, echo, choir, etc) topped it all up with FX instruments, some chops/risers and an electric guitar from my nephew.

"Realm of mystery" by Pnnywze and Cyberflares production Looserz Club, topped with my "vocals".
Used the internet to generate rhyming sentences and compile the lyrics using them. Then quick and dirty vocalised the track in one evening, some editing for the timing, no polishing.
Vocal FX chain: ReaEQ, ReaComp ReaPitch, ReaVerberate and a bit Raum in the outro.
Vox pad FX chain: Stargazer.
Update 2025-11-05 15:50 UTC improved vocal clarity
