Description : VOCALS NEEDED!!! Contact me if you're interested. I'll happily re-edit the song if needed to suit your possible vocal line. For those unfamiliar with the allusion in the title, Eloise and Abelard are a famous tragic couple from the middle ages. The Philosopher Abelard was commissioned by the Pope to teach his daughter. However, they fell in love, and Abelard was punished severely (although Abelard claimed he deserved it).

This song meshes two melodies; strings representing the thoughts of Abelard the philosopher, and Piano reflecting the hopes of the young Eloise. The guitar which is heard throughout is by MINOR2GO, a talented musician found on this site. Enjoy!

Description : HELP! HOLDING OUT FOR A VOCALIST!!! As usual, I don't have a vocalist for this song, and it seems empty without one. Sing, rap, or both I dont mind, if anyone can help out I'd love to hear what you can do with this. If anyone is awesome enough to help me with this, the title of the song will naturally become whatever the lyrics decide it will be called. If you dont like this song however but need a composition to play with, stay tuned; I have many more in my library.

Description : My first attempt at a pop/boyband-esque track. I always wanted to try something like this, and it was indeed fun to record. The vocals belong to the talented Derek Vickers who you might know as Dvikers here on Looperman.com. Keep up the good work, Derek! And thanks for sharing your voice with us all.

On another note (no musical pun intended), Saxophone might sound random for a pop song, but I couldnt resist at the end :p

Hope you guys enjoy this! There will be more tracks to come.

Description : Being a fan of video games and music, 'Super Mario Galaxy' s hauntingly beautiful soundtrack blew me away as much as the games epic conclusion did. The character Rosalina is quite a tragic figure, and so I altered the theme to sound more like a lullaby, giving off a solemn and almost melancholy atmosphere. The melody is NOT original (however the melody line you hear the Cello play in the back is 100% mine. Otherwise this work is a rendition).

Here's hoping I didn't fracture this elegant theme. Please feel free to do the original song justice by letting me know if I have. This is my first attempt at something orchestral.

If for some strange reason you can feel some lyrics come along, feel free to mix it down and show it to me! It's always awesome hearing what some of you guys come up with.

Tags : | Ambient | 3.37 MB

Description : Yet again an experimental track. Trying to find a sound that defines myself as a composer. This time I attempted an ambient backing track. Hope you guys can chill to this. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COMMENT!!! A musician is never happy with his work, and more than half the time needs his listeners to analyse his work. Also, where possible, you might want to use headphones. One of the instruments sounds out of tune unless headphones are being used.

This track also marks the first time in which I've sampled an ambient noise (birds in the background). The inspiration to add these critters came from birds outside my friend's window, which my friend mistakedly thought was comming from the track. We had a laugh about it, and I realised that it'd actually flow pretty well with the track. Bit of fusing and fading, and I had a complete ambient track.

Thanks for reading all that jibber-jabber; now I hope you enjoy my latest experimental beat. Peace.

Description : Collaboration with a friend of mine, Esky (look him up on youtube as iEskyEscandor http://www.youtube.com/user/iEskyEscandor). Very enjoyable track to work with. The scratching samples were taken from Animal Nation. Tried for something powerful, as if the song itself is attempting to 'rise above' the mainstream of modern Hip-Hop, and shine as it's own definitive beat. This song marks the first time I've done a collaboration with someone. If you have lyrics you want to get out there but need a musician to compose for you PLEASE DONT HESITATE TO CONTACT ME at or express your interest in the comments. Hope you enjoy this beat as much as we enjoyed making it. Peace.

Description : This song was my first ever composition (originally for piano, but I decided to give it the Orchestral treatment). As such, I wanted it to be loyal to my original piano score so keep that in mind when you hear that alot of parts sound iffy. This song was written for my now-ex-girlfriend, so naturally the song tries to sound romantic. Comment if you like it! Or even if you dont, go ahead and comment anyway!

Description : Heavily influenced by Nujabes. After recently finding a VST setting which allows me to muffle the piano, I wasted no time in stringing together a few 7ths and 6ths until I had my own jazz melody. After applying a hiphop beat I knew this was going to be one of my proudest works. I hope you all enjoy listening as much as I loved putting it together. COMMENT! I PROMISE I WONT BITE!
While I did intend for this to be an instrumental, do let me know if you have ideas for vocals, and show me what you've done. Its always a pleasure seeing what talents rise from this site.

Description : Another mellow track, which allowed me to experiment with a muffled guitar effect. I tried to paint an image of a small shack or kiosk by a beach, where friends meet to unwind, absorb the ambience of the beach, share a meal or two, perhaps gossip over a cup of coffee, and cherish life's simple pleasures

Tags : | Chill Out | 4.04 MB

Description : Closing track idea for my current album-in-progress. The album has a show motif, and so I included the background of an audience walking away from a theater. I wouldn't consider this track final, as I want it to sound as good as possible, being the final track. This is where YOU come in! I hope some of you can take time out to let me know what can be included or taken out in order to really make an impact on my listeners. What do you want to hear before an album is over? What would you want to remember?

Tags : | Chill Out | 3.26 MB

Description : A song made with no immediate concept in mind. After hearing it over, it reminded of me of two people laying in a meadow, noticing the stars and reaching out in a futile effort to catch one. I'm not sure about my bridge, and whether to get rid of the strings or perhaps elaborate. I submit this mp3 in the hopes that you'll enjoy it, and that you'll help me in polishing it up, as I'm not 100% happy with it yet. Peace, Looperman-ians!

Tags : | Ambient | 4.35 MB | Has Lyrics

Description : A little melodic ditty I put together. I decided to try include my voice this time. I introduce the instruments, tell them to take a break, and whatnot. As embarrassing as it was recording these clips, I think they went well with the song. If they don't, go ahead and let me know!

Tags : | Chill Out | 3.48 MB

Description : After receiving some advice (you guys are awesome. Thanks for all the feedback!) I edited the song and have reposted the MP3. PREVIOUS DESCRIPTION: Title is French for 'Coffee with milk', aka latte. The song, like the album it's from was made with a cafe or restaurant in mind. As such, the name seemed all too fitting. Had alot of fun with the muffled saxophone here (to be honest it muffled itself on accident). The piano is hard to hear at times so headphones are recommended.. or a good pair of speakers. I spent alot of timt trying to decide if the bass was too much. I would love to hear your opinions :D
I plan to come back to this track to polish it, but I need help choosing what needs to be edited.
Thanks for listening! Hope the song creates the chill atmosphere I was aiming for.

Tags : | Ambient | 2.78 MB

Description : Experimental track. Nothing album-worthy in my opinion, but a chance to try some new piano techniques alongside an awesome ambient loop by Looperman's very own MCHN. Let me know what you guys think I should add or remove from the track.

Tags : | Chill Out | 2.86 MB

Description : I promised myself i wouldn't put up every single song of my album before its ready to be released, but I had to upload this and get a few opinions. Its not a particularly long track; and its not meant to. It acts as a brief break in my album 'One Man Show'. If it were to be performed on stage, this is where the audience gets up for a brief respite. Im a little worried the track is underwhelming however, and lacks a certain je ne sais quoi.

Tags : | Cinematic | 4.27 MB

Description : One of my earlier works, when I was fooling around with FL Studio. Inspired by film music, I tried to capture the myseterious feel of an espionage/spy movie. Personally, this is what I think the sax is about. Smooth, classy melodies. Hope you be lovin it! Peace

Tags : | Chill Out | 2.75 MB

Description : Inspired by Shoji Meguro (composer of every track heard on Persona 1-4). Dont know what to think of this one. Made it in under an hour, but been listening to it all week to decide whether it's too simple or not. Lemme know what you guys reckon!

Tags : | Pop | 2.83 MB

Description : "And now for something completely different".
I really enjoyed working on this track. It acted as a break from my album, and is very different from my instrumentals. A HUGE thanks to Nico Collu and Kira for their awesome vocal talents. I really loved how the two voices worked together, and I hope they both like what I have done with their collaboration. Criticisms are greatly encouraged by all. If something is unpleasant to the ear, let me know.

Description : The final track of my album 'One Man Show'. I won't lie; It did take me quite some time before I was happy with the composition. But after leaving this track and comming back, I think I accomplished exactly what I was looking for: a track to round up everything on the album, and leave the listeners in good spirits as my work as a whole draws to a close.

I am yet to finalise the CD however, so I am open to any bright ideas which I would GREATLY appreciate from you guys. Hope it's a pleasant ditty to listen to. Thanks in advance for any pro-tips or criticisms!

Description : Synth melody line composed by Timbaland and Rockstar games for their program 'Beaterator'. NOT my own. I planned to make my first Breakbeat song for something different, using a synth loop I found on Beaterator. But it turned out techno-esque :p It's something different nevertheless, and served as a good break from my hip-hop/Jazz composing. The 'cmon' acapella was submitted by digitalSKYY, and was included as I thought it served as a good bridging into the heavier drum beats.

Tags : | Cinematic | 3.28 MB

Description : Not much to say about this one. I was itching to make some film music after not composing for so long, and I was hoping for some feedback. Be as critical as you want; this isn't my usual genre, so it's far from perfect :p

Tags : | Rock | 3.50 MB

Description : Re-uploaded. ETREMELY HAPPY about this one! Vocalist Derek Vickers, and guitarist Mike Korpa (from Another Empty Day) have my deepest thanks on this. If you like this track, it's probably because of the hard work these two put into their parts. Not to leave myself without credit, I thought the piano and sax complimented the whole track quite nicely. I hope this version sound much better than the last. Download is up people. Enjoy :D

Tags : | RnB | 4.73 MB

Description : Rhythm and Blues isn't entirely my genre, but RaRCharm has one of the best voices in this genre! (And here's here on Looperman! Support him, peeps!) Anyway, I'm relatively happy with how it turned out, and I hope you all have something to say about it (be it good or bad). More beats comming to you all soon.

Tags : | Pop | 4.49 MB

Description : Headphones are needed to hear the violin's broken chords 'SAIL' from left to right. Panning was my main focus in this experiment, and I'm pretty happy with how it worked out. The first two notes of each broken chord are in the left, and the last two are in the right, and thanks to EDIROL's panning device I could make that transition a smooth one. As well as this, I tried to accomplish an upbeat chorus to contrast a minor-keyed verse. I think the two more or less do compliment each other and help emulate the feel of the rocky waves during a boat cruise, before the water calms down at last. I'm also unsure as to what genre this fits into, so until further recommendation, I'm gonna class it as pop.

Description : Haven't been as vigilant as I should with Looperman uploads, so just in case there are people here who DO listen to my stuff, thanks a heap, and have another track :) This time around I learn how to sample. The song contains samples from the great Ahmad Jamal's 'Swahililand'. This is my first time adopting samples into my music, and marks my first step towards Jazz-Hop. Wasn't sure about the speed (95 bpm). Opinions?
