Description : This is a mix I created using a few of my own beats and bass drops, plus as many looperman loops and acapellas at 150 bpm that worked for my song. I did it as an exercise for protools and also to get to know other looperman artists. It was like a puzzle searching hundreds of loops and samples to come up with the right combination and key. Description : This is my mix using drum beats I programmed using my Dr. Rhythm 770, and I also searched looperman for loops at 140 bpm and used protools to edit in the ideas. The song sounds cool. Thanks to all the looperman artists who are in this track. If you are a looperman and have uploaded something at 140bpm it's probably in this track somewhere.
Description : This is a song I created using the Dr. Rhythm DR-770 for the bass and drums, and I put two guitar tracks. I play one track for the chord progression, and the other guitar track for the solo for a total of four tracks. I used a Fender Stratocaster on this song with the tone knobs turned down a bit for a smooth sound quality.
Description : I composed this song by creating two different melody lines, and then playing them together on different tracks so that the two melodies created different harmonic chord qualities. The solo was quite difficult at first, but I kept working on what my head heard, and then I practiced the fingerings until it was smooth. Wow this one was cool.
Description : This is a composition still in progress. I have the backing tracks for the bass and drums I programmed turned down and the guitar solo is louder. The chord progression keeps repeating, and only the guitar parts change, so I need to add a bridge, and also have someone help me with the bass and drums. You can see my video on my youtube channel so you see how I play the solo. I can make it much better with the right help.
