Description : My entry into Short bus music mixing comp. I just tried to keep it simple and bring out as much as i could from the tracks provided. I did pitch the piano up an octave to make more space in the low mids but that was as drastic as it got other than eq, comp, delay and panning fx with some automation etc etc. Hope you like.

Description : So this is my attempt at ShortBusMusic's mixing and mastering competition from the forum, which I've spent 10 hours working on.
I think this is probably the most complex project that I've worked on with regards to trying to find space for everything on the spectrum. I've used all kinds of plugins to try and clean up the original files but the most popular was probably the Waves C6 multiband compressor and a parametric EQ.. I think this project may surpass my skills to perfect though :p

Description : I got a challenge from friend to make deep house with original FL Studio plugins. So, no Massive, Nexus, Sylenth and other similar VSTs. Made this in about 2 hours using WASP and Harmless. I really never produced deep house so I made a combination of deep and progressive house. Description : This track was inspired by the recent chaos going on in my life... family fallouts mostly...
it took me about 70hrs in total getting the drum parts sounding crisp was a task and a half but I recently started to use abletons saturation and overdrive to give the drums a boost... and I think it works...
the bass comes from a double bass sample I had kicking around .. and the pads are just looped back on themselves and stretched...
I threw in a few hip hop hits as well.. I think it works well..
anyway... any comments welcome... maybe if I get a few I might put it up to download if your interested in that that is..
