This is nice - drums are a little hot in spots but overall good production values. Really liked the transition at 1:47 - great piano work! Holds together well - well done.
-clindsay
cheers :), yeah i know what you mean i dont know if its the spot your thinking of but the kick at 45 seconds in im thinking of switching with something else dont think it fits.
Thanks for the comment clindsay :)
I really like the basic riff - example :49 to 1:03. Track has a good groove to it although I'm not sure its a dance groove. I realize this is exploratory - I think the pieces are there they just need to be organized - for example the piece at 1:04 could be extended as an intro - :39 to :45 extended as a chorus. You stuff is always interesting and believe me your struggles and frustration are common to us all.
Much respect

Hi Clindsay, so nice to see you here!
I've worked some more with this, and developed the idea a little further.
Not sure if it's the right direction for this song and it's also becoming difficult to get room for all the sound frequenses now with the vox in place.
Not happy with the result so far but happy with myself persisting with trying to get this one done before going to the next one...haha.
And I hope all is well with you!
Like this - very tight production - really like the portion starting at 7:30 - arguably could be its own track. I kind of hear 4 tracks here tied together with bass and synth grooves and smooth transitions. Kind of mirrors SJs comments but I liked the second piece more - opinions vary.
-clindsay
All I did with this was match up loops. So, other than being a bit time consuming it was pretty easy to put together. I just wish I had some proper equipment so I didn't have to rely on loops. FL studio is ok but the sound selection isn't really geared up for what I want to do.
Glad you could stop by and leave your opinion.

Way cool - very clever and interesting - not loving the intro I think it could start at :46 but that's only my take. Could be a soundtrack - what is this 170BPM? - very intricate arrangement at certain points.
regards,
-clindsay
Thanks! I'm working on this song still as you can see by the comments but I can't work on it until after thanksgiving break as I'm grounded and can only get on at school. Anyways' thanks!
Very Nice - especially the vocal part - I think there is something wrong with the way Looperman displays it - shows 4:19 but runs longer and cuts off. Think the piano parts are really great especially against the synth- don't love the intro as much as others here - drums are a little hot at parts. This is really creative and compelling- think it may need some tightening but really first rate.
-clindsay
Very nice- The first 2/3 is brilliant - didn't love the last third as much. Great percussion throughout. Very innovative with great production values. Cinematic quality to this that would make for good soundtrack. Well done!
-clindsay
I like this - I think it could be a little brighter although I admire the restraint. Vocals are cool but I think they could come in earlier - they give it the groove. Well done.
-clindsay
Seriously good track - great intro and transition. Good musicianship throughout. I think it could use lyrics but that's for the remix. Well done!
-clindsay
OK - well this is different - very professionally produced and tight within the genre. Absolutely loved the section from intro to 2:32 - use of spoken word with echo (announcement) effect is very cool. Didn't love the bridge as much and kind of expected a drop with exposition sans vocals in that part. Last section was good but I think the first part was the most effective. This was kind of structured as three tracks each of which could stand on its own. Well done overall and definitely unique.

This comment represents the best of what I have become to expect from Looperman comments: thoughtful and insightful with helpful suggestions. Thank you for taking the time and care to provide your perspective.
very nice - I really like the pads beginning at 1:48 and the crashes really work throughout. Very good drop at 3:02 - arp groove pulls this together well. Cleanly produced - Well done!
-clindsay
Very good - tightly produced with good production values. I personally like some vocals if only for texture. Other than that I think it is solid.
-clindsay
Wow - very nice. Love the drama and I think you work the dub bits in pretty well. Good production values - has a soundtrack vibe. Very well done.
-clindsay
Really Good - I really like and admire the restraint and discipline up until about 4:18 when it breaks out. Break out works but not as tight. Professional quality throughout. Very good vocal application. This is clubable!
-clindsay
Thanks, I'm glad you could drop by and check the track out. I can't take too much credit as it was all just loops.
I'm pleased with the way it turned out but i seriously didn't write one bit of this track lol.

Nice - I really liked the coda 2:24 on and the verse :53 to 1:20. Needs a little more power up front but nice vibe. I'd love to hear it with voices.
-clindsay
Wow - very nice. Very well produced - good clean crisp sound! Great break at 2:08. I agree that it has soundtrack potential. Reminds me a little of Telstar (the song not the group). Similar vibe. Well done thanks for sharing.
-clindsay
OK - a lot of this works - has a certain drive to it that is interesting. Good intro - the verse kind of works although it should be clearer. I don't love the scream/roar chorus because I don't think the vibe/tone is that angry. The bridge is actually very good. Honestly the overall track has promise - I just don't think it needs to hit the level of distortion/destruction that comes through. Not really my genre so I may be missing something.
-clindsay
The distortion that comes thru is due to some volume level issues, and you may be right that the overall tone may not be angry, but i think the chorus works well. a lot of hardcore and metal i listen to actually has very laid back and not very angry lyrics, but still has the screams to give it an edge.
Even though this isnt your genre, glad you still stopped by for a a listen :)
OK - I've got to ask - is this a big goof? This appears to be 'the emperor has no clothes' spoof directed towards the conventions of the Looperman site. I've listened to your other tracks which are quite good and precise. This isn't even close and I've noticed that you have been gaming the system to get listens and pack downloads.
People on this site are quite polite and sensitive to artists' feelings so if I'm mistaken let me apologize up front but this is not even close to the quality I know you are capable of.
So - which is it? Is this a scam or do you really believe that this is a legitimate genre? Others may be in on the joke but I don't get it.
