Hej igen!
This sounds like a possible version of the original, all the harmonies are sitting perfectly and a GREAT bassline.

A cool idea!
And the vocal - Amazing.

Bra jobbat! /SJ =)

on Modnex - Frozen by Modnex
That is an amazing beat, I wish I liked more simple beats because they always mess up my music when I try something more complicated than 4/4...but really, this is a really good beat.
The piano is also great but I'm waiting for a development of some kind which doesn't come, do you want it that monotonous all the way?
The synth is good.

But the beat!!!
That's what made me log in to comment.
Modnex
Modnex replied 6th Mar 2014 - 11 years ago
Thank you Serious! When I make my songs I try not to make them too complex. I noticed when making songs too complex, it will either end with it being either really good or really terrible, never in between.

I was going for a monotonous sound for the synth and piano part. Other elements changed within the track numerous times to keep it more exciting than boring.

Thanks for your kind words and for taking the time to listen and review, very appreciated! :)

AMAZING stuff!
You came to the right place, there are some brillant musicians here and they are going to love you for this.
You should upload this track to Loopradio to get some exposure:

on Without You ft Zoielou by pavelkelly
Hi there, this might work fine if you changed the key of the instrumental or pitched the vocal.
It's out of tune somehow.

But the beat seems to be synced with the vocal so it's a good start!
pavelkelly
pavelkelly replied 6th Mar 2014 - 11 years ago
Tried doing stuff with the vocals but nothing seemed to make it work, im still new at adding vocals to my work because most people usually add vocals after but i will get there, thanks

on See You by SonOfSabotaj
Very nice!
This reminds me somehow of INXS and Disappear, I've been listening to it lately to have the bassline from that song to permanently and magically stuck in to my mind (it's not working by the way).

Is this you singing also?

Take care!
/SJ =)
SonOfSabotaj
SonOfSabotaj replied 5th Mar 2014 - 11 years ago
INXS huh? Sweet! :D

The track is me on vox and guitar, and the rest is all midi-converted-to-wav for mixing purposes. I know my balance is still off, but the other parts are kind of placeholders for when I find some people to lay some tracks down for me.

Thanks very much for your feedback!
Rock On!

Well, you "ten year old kind of artist" - this wasn't bad at all!

You got some serious talent and more importantly about 90 more years to make more music.

Banannapie replied 6th Mar 2014 - 11 years ago
Thanks! :D Btw, I'm not 10 anymore, I think I need to change that! I'm now 11, and I still love making music, but I'm in a band now and we're getting stuff sorted, so I don't have as much time to compose!

The instrumental really goes with the vocal - good job with it!
This could be a big hit in latin clubs...I think my friend from Chile would love this to death.
Get this out there.

You fooled me by putting this in the cinematic genre, wasn't expecting anything like this.
But yes, it's cinematic alright.

on C-KW3LL Feat Kate Lesing by ckw3ll
I had to check out your profile 3 seconds in to the track, thats a very good sign.
But you haven't written anything there so I remain clueless about your background in music production, exprience and so forth...

This sounds professional, trance isn't my cup of thea really but it's a good track. Really good even.

Also amazed about the quality of your vocal considering that you recorded this with your phone.

Very much what I was thinking. I found out by accident the good quality of the phone mic while recording a meeting. I was like, "Hey I bet some vocals would come out great on this."

on Needle and the Damage Done Cover by Darkreine
Here it is!
I heard this on the Loop Radio a while ago and had to come here to hear it again - you guys did a great job!!!

I don't even know if I ever heard the original and if I have it could not have been this good because it didn't leave any memories what so ever.
And this rendition stuck immediately so...enough said.

Take care, Kenny!

on NO to child labour Behnam ZanDi deciBel by deciBel
I almost hate Heavy metal for the most part - and still there is several parts here that I find really enjoyable and had to listen over and over again to get enough of them.

About the cause: GREAT CAUSE!

on Escaping Hell by radioilluminati
I have no idea how you managed to get that kickdrum through those synts and keeping it so punchy!
I LOVED all the uptempo parts but the parts without percussion not so much.
Really creative and a catchy melody.

This really is escaping hell!
radioilluminati
radioilluminati replied 22nd Feb 2014 - 11 years ago
Tack så mycket/Thank you

I did not know about equalizing and give room to the kick drums, as I do now. I guess, I was just lucky with the kick drums I used, that was so punchy. I had several kicks and layered them. One of them was extremely hardcore.

on sang av ensomhet by Prelude
Hi again!
And here you sing even more!! I had somehow missed this tune of yours.

Well, this is sounding spectacular and very unique.
I would love to get my hands on it but I understand your concern about people not getting what you want for this piece of music.

So I'll be looking forward to the renditions Steve and Shortbusmusic are making for you instead.

I knew there was something special about you from the start...way to go girl!
So yet an other exceptional talent has landed on The Loop - it's good to have you here.

on Sik Style - Every Moment by SikStyle1
Sounds really commercial to my ears, this is not a genre I listen to that much but I enjoyed this.
Good vocals, both yours(?) and the female one!

There is a snapping in the pianoloop when it starts over, and the vocals are a little muffled maybe. But I think you know better than me how to fix those things...

Definitely a cool tune, good job!

Hey Dan - I thought you had some new tunes up but it turned out that I hadn't even listened to this one so it's new to me anyway.

And what a tune!!!
So sensual, with that subtle instrumental you created to carry Samanthas delicate vocal.
I'm enjoying this immensely!
Really good job on this.

Hey what happened to that genre anyway?

Awesome bassline and a really cool intro. You are going to make it longer, right?
Oh please please make a Urban Shakedown drop/break with a cool piano melody or an epic vocal or something - but I'm totally loving this already though.
