Also my equipment isn't that good either so the production on my end is limited as you'd be able to hear on my tracks.

Really like this piece!! Beautiful and inspires me. If you wouldn't mind I'd like to try some vocals. I'm not that great but you can listen to this track and let me know if it'd be ok. https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/162525

I listened to your track, and you have a beautiful voice. But, as you said, the quality of your record is not very good. It's a pity !
If you get some new stuff to record, let me know, because you have a very interested and great voice !

on I love you-woodkid-home made cover by janis71
Very well done. Awesome recording and production for a live bit. That is not easy. I can tell you felt what you were singing and thats all we can be asked to do. Your voice is absolutely beautiful as all have already mentioned. Is there anyway you can add bass or piano to your live stuff? I really loved the harmonies. I am a harmony person also, so did you dub those in after the original take? Thank you for such a gift!

Another classic Spiv!! You know how to do it. Definitely reminisce of devo or talking heads that meet electro punk...pistols ...I can hear it yep. Love AnomolyJ's comment. Another 4:21 that was well worth it. Thanks

Cheers

Hey, you're too kind! I can only be thankful I can still find inspiration. I've been twisting my mind enough to get back into talking heads, so I get what you mean there. Hey happy 4:21, it only takes a minute I guess...heh. Thank you very much for listening and leaving a comment!

on Our Deliverance by Tatiacha
Welcome to the loop Tatiacha! Nice use of the loops and its awesome you list everything used. Really well done with mixing and mastering. Sounds good. Agreed with RPS about the guitar coming in a little louder but not a big deal at all. I may not have noticed it if I didn't read RPS's comment. Keep em coming

on Dont Let It Go To Your Head by blxckcxsper
I am sorry I hear no issue with the loudness. However I am not much on mastering myself. This is definitely better then my mastering. It sounds well mixed. You have used the "dub-step" perfectly and I really dig the track. I'll stay tuned to see if I can learn a thing or two. I also use a sub standard DAW.

Thanks man! I know how to mix but I'm still learning mastering. That's why the song is like just a tad bit quieter than regular commercial songs

on Baghead Ft doctorcatface by Spivkurl

Thanks for the positive words! The synth lead was programmed by doctorcatface, so I can't take credit for that, and the title of his song was "baghead" so I went with that as ispiration. I'm trying to focus on not using autotune anymore with my new tracks, but I think this one turned out nice. I appreciate the feedback!

RPS!!

Wow what a switch up! I see you like to experiment and thats awesome! Kept me listening. The droning of the arp almost hypnotized me. Well, maybe it did. Nice piece I enjoyed it. I believe I saw you are only 11, incredible! good production too.

I like this for sure. Unfortunately I am not online enough, but if you want to send me the file without the drums you have I could give it a try. My email is tornadobilla@aol.com. I am also sure there are many here that would do a better job then I. But thought I'd give you an option.

on After The Rain by bbedford48
I really like how you get clear separation in your instruments. That flute(?)is perfect. Beautiful guitar work. I really enjoyed that piece even though I am not huge into this style and know very little about it, it was a pleasure to listen to the quality production and the talented musical work. No advice can I give to this it sounded all good to me even though I could hear a tad of white noise from somewhere which could have been added for atmosphere or my listening devices but it wasn't enough to detract from its beauty.

Cheers

Many thanks for your review Will. I'll go through it and see about the white noise. It may be intentional, but if not I'll see if it can be taken out

best regards

on REM I Dont Sleep I Dream Spivkurl Cover by Spivkurl
I am not familiar with the original so hearing it for the first time any other version will be compared to this one. I really like the electro vibe and I like the effects on your vocals. As usual the production is superb in my ears. You also bring emotion which is always hard for me. You seem very comfortable. Nice piece of work!
Spivkurl
Spivkurl replied 3rd Dec 2013 - 11 years ago
Hey, thanks! I'm honoured that you felt I conveyed emotion, because that's what I set out to do! It's a pretty emotional song originally, so I tried to keep that, but make it mine. I really appreciate you taking a listen!

Very interesting song. I like it. Emotional and has an energy that kind of bursts out. I still couldn't hear the words very well early on but I have old man ears. Thanks for sharing that piece it must be a little freaky to expose your feelings like that to us. You have effected me and I thank you.

Haha I have to agree with Static!! Wow, what a trip man. Insane robotic musical metal grinding digital mayhem. Not a big fan of this genre but not because its not good but because I am old and loud unexpected sounds scare me. Great production. You crazy man~!

Wow what a great tune! I am not much into hip hop but if it were more like this overall I would be. Absolutely loved the use of the subs and synths. The beat was fantastic and the rap was musical. Professional all the way. Awesome work!!

Thank you. Synths and Pads are my first love. I try to have a pretty universal sound without being too "commercial" or commercial at all. I just want to be original. I'm glad you liked it, and I appreciate the comment. Stay tuned.
