I like the rhythmic aspirations embedded with the vocal exercises. And then an awesome synth guitar.and back to analogue synths. Worthy of a download!.
Thanks, man. I like rhythmic aspirations embedded with vocal exercises too. And killer guitar makes me weep. The thing I've found with guitar licks, by the way and for what it's worth, is they usually sound great reversed as well, and so I do that a lot and then mix them together with unreversed for variation and build.
good song, although I am not a huge fan of the cookie monster voice in metal this is one of the better one's I have heard. The musicianship here is great. The song is epic.

The best way I could describe this music to someone else who has never listened to this style before would be to call it Electronic Collage. Sort of taking a song and snipping out parts of many songs and re-stiching them back together so you can understand it but it just doesn't quite fit together seemlessly. Like a serial killer snips out parts of a newspaper and make a collage of words you can understand but are not of the same font. (not that I am comparing you to a serial killer) This is not a bad thing. You are attempting to create a new art form within the electronic world and judging by your other songs this is the direction you are pursuing. I assume creating a new sound has led to many people either avoiding commenting or the comments would be like WTF. I believe when Igor Stravinsky premièred Rite of spring which is an early Dissonance piece the audience booed walked out and threw things at the orchestra as they were not ready to hear dissonance. Yet now we can appreciate it. What your work does is it explores what happens when you upset the consonance of rhythm and make it dissonant. The casual listener would not like it as it goes against there preconceived expectations of rhythm. So keep on doing what your doing!
Steve
Electronic Collage, I like that. Your review is very welcome and everything you mentioned was pretty much on the money. haha, no offence taken by the serial killer remark, although I think of myself more as a Dr.Frankenstine ( OR Funkenstine if that blasted George Clinton hadn't of coined the term first).
I'm not really aware of Rite of Spring but I think I'll check it out. :). As for the low level of feedback on most people's part I can't say I really blame them and I'd be a bit like Dali and Bunell when they stuffed their pockets with rocks at the the premier of "un chien andalou" expecting a negative reaction when they didn't get one if everybody loved my work unquestionably. A bit let down.
I could just make really generic clean sounding perfect house music with top the range software but much like Michael Buble it would just be utterly pointless.

wow, I must agree with my colleagues this is the best rendition of her voice so far. Also the music is cool r&b with jazzy elements, nice beats, great mix. 10 out of 10
The Intro is epic, Awesome production, nice trance!! well done. The Breakdown at 1.16 is good, you remind me of an old Swiss trance outfit called Nordbeat, but this is smoother and a bit mellower than them. loved it, will be downloading, and thanks for making it available.

This is very nice progression. Congrats on graduating. I remember When I left University after taking Music Theory, it screwed up my writing for a bit as I wanted to incorporate everything I had learned (Esp Atonal, and dissonant) I needed to take some time away from music to gain perspective again to what constitutes a finely written song. You strike me as having the musical genius potential of a Frank Zappa. Time will tell on that but I look forward to hearing what you will bring to the table. It's exciting to hear new talent with such potential.
Steve
Very much appreciated man. I had the same struggle after taking Theory. My sense of what was right and wrong was completely flipped upside down. I IV V progressions...always in my head. I don't listen to the radio strictly because I can hear the next change. Thanks for the listen! Cheers.
It does have an old school feel with a Pan-african sort of uplifting sound. You need a karindula flowing through this. I like the bahn-jo intro. good song!. Also link your song in the forum to here, and not reverb nation, otherwise no one from here will review it.
Cheers
Love this... I agree with Domenico there is a Kate Bush Quality to the Song. The simple arrangement of Piano with some effects is superb. ''Less is more'' applies to this song perfectly as it creates a mood very clearly for the listener and beckons for repeat listening. Good work!
"Less is more", you're right . But I'm always more or less happy with the way I translate what passes me through .
I'm very glad you enjoyed it and thank you warmly for your kind words .
Peace
You managed to combine a very homogenized Detroit techno sound with almost a hint of the Minneapolis sound from the late eighties. Which is an incredible achievement and makes a smile come upon my face. Nice work my Y(psilanti)-Town Friend.
