I like this, slyly ambient and then lounge-Jazz and then back and forth. Almost like being stuck outside and every now and then a window opens up so you can see and hear what's going on. cool stuff You've been paying attention !!!

I am going to respond to this song in 2 ways. Technical: and esoteric al.
So for the technical. You hit a chord with me with your use of square waves in a very cool coherent way. It's as if you replaced guitars in the song with these synths. Back in the day I used to program basic on an old commodore Vic 20 when I was like 11 yrs old and use all the memory, but make interesting sounds using the square wave generators. now for the esoteric al: The progression you created is very good and makes me want to hear you expand on this. It has a sublime feel and can almost fool you into thinking that these are not synths at all if you let the trance like quality of the sounds wash over you. I look forward to hearing more from you!
Steve
as the old pcengine pioneers did, you did, im new and that was before my life, but as a gaming nerd, i understand where we meet. You pushed your machine to the limit, when the machine was the limit, at this time i pushed my mind to its end, to make a genre its own was my goal, melodically driven instrumental, trancey but still not phrase repetitive, so i combined hip hop structure with trance melody
it never mattered, but at least i tried
Bloody Brilliant! Excellent excellent song my friend. I was almost expecting Robbie Robertson’s voice to begin coolly talking over this brilliant arrangement. Great work.
Steve
Very nice and smooth. I just poured myself a nice glass of Ste.-Raphaël and pleasently letting the sweet sounds wash over me as I unwind from the day. ahhh!
Steve
This is really supreme. I love the rhythm synths in this one. The mix is excellent. I Think the BBC news should use this theme from now on as an intro! Great Work.
Steve
I Agree with Killumineye it does have an Irish celtic feel to it, but also a Senegalise sound, sort of what Babba Maal who has also used a Breton harp in his work. The Music invokes in me a sense of history or what I would call timeless music. Great song I really enjoyed listening to this one!
your loudable analysis , shows your worthwhile underestanding and deep cognition about music which is instructive for me Steve.I appreciate your taken time , perception & comment about this trial of mine & it's my pleasure if U've enjoyed it my friend.best wishes as always.___Behnam.
Beautiful, I don't feel this is a sad song, as much as it is an uplifting soulful experience song. Like wise eyes reflecting on a lifetime of good and bad. Like time slipping away from someone. I definitely feel an ''enigma'' like quality to this as well in the musicianship. But outstanding work my friend., this piece moves me.
Hi Steve my friend ,glad to see U here another time my friend & thanX alot about your solicitude & proper attention abut quality .Piano line is so easy as U can hear & selfplayed by me by an electrinC piano , but what has made better the quality is a friend of mine who is sound engineer & has a perfect studio & sample archive & her sample archive & specially has helped me alot & would be sensibel in my future traX too(te same reason was right about automnal equinoX too if U remeber that previous track of mine which made me glad by commentinG on it).Steve it was for me my bitterest track & the best one in my traX too,I think & I appreciate your taken time because of listening, attention & commenting on it.Best wishes as always.___Behnam.
Without a doubt out of all the remixes of this song out there this is the best one I have heard. You do a nice job choosing underlying chords, the mono old record beginning adds an Old European feel to it. And your version is darker and a bit slower than the others I love it. Great Work
Thank you very much for that great comment, buddy! :) It´s always nice to see people who really think deeply about music like you do. All hope is not lost, hehe.
To me that old record in the intro is about falling into your memories. But that " old Europe" idea is awesome too,i just never looked it like that but now i totally get that too.
Yeah, this song has definitely that dark yearning feeling to it.
Maybe because the singer is from Russia and i´m Finnish( right next door, lol),maybe that kinda glues the song together too.
When i heard her lovely vocals,it just had to be this style and this arrangement. I had no choice ,if you know what i mean.
Thank again for the knowledgeable comment. I guess you are little older generation too? I´m -74 myself. Usually younger people don´t make the comment you made,so i was just wondering.
Hey Steve ,thanks man! much appreciated..no that's not a theremin it's a synth patch Zappo has created..cheers mate, all the best from Dave and Detlef. :)
Very Nice version of this pella-song combo. Brings a very thoughtful emotional sound utilizing your piano, and I like the gospel like voices and harmonies you have going on. Good Work!
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and comment. Much appreciated. Patricia has such a wonderful vocal style and the harmonies are fantastic to work with. I'm so lucky. Glad you enjoyed the track.
Very very good. Like you took simple Appalachian melodies, and old European string sounds, and added this ethereal ambient feel in the background. Future meets the past. I feel the ethos of Persia, Greece, the Mediterranean, The Immigrants of the U.S. and Canada all coming together with DaDa.
Hey man,you surprised me !your warm breath.dear Steve, you know btter than me that music talks to the bird's language, and from Appalachian Mountains to alps & from Mediterranean Sea to our persian gulf, and from tibbet mountains to Australian rocks & mountains & even the birds in African deserts , are singing by One language, like music, and according to I wanted about this track to shows a middle point ( equinox)I should use all languages words in it as various Instruments,& would be really glad if you may think that I havebeen succeded.Best wishes for you man,I will remember this conceptual analysis in your comment about this trial of mine, forever,as a remarkable memory in my mind.

I have to agree with Danke, sounds a bit like Nick Cave. Great job. I like the vocals even a little der komisser feel to it. Thoroughly enjoyed the listen.
