Really well-done composition. I love strings and the expressiveness of them. What instruments do you personally play?, As a Russo-Norweigan you are familiar with Silenzium from Novosibirsk? II like how the percussion plays a part in telling the story but is delicately placed in the mix. It feels like the piano is the star here with the strings bringing the horrific energy. The abrupt ending is well chosen. Are you familiar with StaticNomad from this site? He incorporates cello and guitar like no one I have ever heard before and you may like his work. Ciao
Hey, tnx for listening. I play piano and some double bass this track, but most of my live I play guitar in metal bands.
Yeah, Ive heard about Silenzium, they doing bad covers of old commie songs with midi drums and awfull dancewhileperform convulsions. There a lot of great bands from Novosib and Tomsk, mostly metal, but anyway.
No, Iam not famiiar with this guy, Ill give him a shot, thank you
This is a very nice journey you take the listener on, very well made indeed. Always changing and keeping you engaged. My only critique (and a truly minor one) is that you may need more subtle underlying percussion effects. Thats my Arranger ears doing the talking. I love how you bring the tune-up and down from the percussion, and your ambient Pad instincts are awesome. Maybe a tinge of sub-bass might make sense as well. Please don´t take any critique from myself negatively. If I take the time to point out specifics like this, that means I really really like what you have done and can see the great potential of the tune.
Thank you for sharing your art.

OOH Vapourware!!! Awesome. Blade runner +++. Awesome use of Analogue synths. Def a Fav! Put a great big smile on my face after a tough grueling work week.
Welcome to the loop and Gday! This has a very acid house feel but in an uplifting way. enjoyed the listen. A fine group of musicians has come from Western Australia, this being no exception to that list. fine work, welcome to looperman. Cheers Mate!

I miss that Manitobian genius around here, what's he up to these days. This is a sublime piece of work Leon, awesomely crafted and amazingly mixed as I would expect nothing less from you. Cheers; Cru.
I guess we all miss him....He has a lot of other responsibilities these days, but I hope he will be back soon. Thanks alot for your kind feedback Steve !
Yeah, in a way it's deep soul music, but unfortunely that's not a genre at all. I am happy to read that i did something just in the way you could enjoy the listen.
So thanks a lot for your comment Steve
I'm sad Looperman has been taken over by urban producers so I've escaped to the swamp LOL! Thanks Cru, I need to fine tune this guitar a bit but really wanted to record it in time for Halloween.
Very good, You have created a new genre of funk called Anxiety-Funk. what a nervous composition (in a good creative way) ooh call it Xanax-funk.
Nice work.
Glad you like the slow hand and good to see your comment cru. I was trying a couple of things in a totally different direction and wasn't liking it. So I decided to slow things down and dropped out most of the rhythm and the slow hand emerged. Its funny how these things happen sometimes. Oh and ghosts aren't real only to those who haven't yet seen one. Ha ha, Happy Halloween bro !
EYE ROLL!!! yes I liked it.. did U not listen mate. I just said U da bomb. I like how it progresses in different ways and keeps you engaged. You actually made it in 4 parts almost how a classical composer would create a piece of work. The allegro to introduce, the Adagio which is pretty even sounding trance music, a scherzo which is your breakdown, and finally a rondo which harkens back to the original allegro and the adagio. So now do U feel secure!!!!!! JK, U know I love your work and I'm just pushing your buttons, or it could be this delicious Gordons Pink Gin & Tonic I am having tonight.

Sometimes when we are tired we can let go and be naturally creative and not impose structures and rules and sometimes great things can occur. This is cool and creative.

Don´t knock your voice, its in tune and its unique. not sure this is a sound I remember from the eighties but it´s a nice tune nevertheless. More like early nineties house in the US. Your voice reminds me of a small bit of Tobias Forge from Ghost. Really liked this one, keep on doing it!
Cru
Thanks for listening Cru!
I know what you mean about not really 80s, it came out more housey. I'd love to make a proper 80s track though, something like Depeche Mode or New Order, that's next on my list. And I'll keep practicing my singing!
Sublime opening of beauty and grace. Then that A-gtar. So needs vocals. Nice toms create tension and a nice transition, to the blast of sound and that cool screech g-tar. Almost Phil Manzanera like. sweet mellow tune. nice work Leon!
Steven
Usually when I hear the word "vocals" I grab my revolver...haha...and quite the opposite when someone mentions Manzanera. Thank you so much my friend for this lovely feedback...as always much appreciated !
Fitting Tribute to your grandmother. My wife's Grandfather from Poland survived in a ditch for a year hiding from the Nazis, eventually fighting for the allies in North Africa, came to Canada and started his life over.
