on Henry Pascal feat Junior Paes - I dont need you by HenryPascal

I really like this one. Awesome sound, vocals remind me a little bit of Gaga, with a Dale Bozio bend. Awesome chord structure and production. I really enjoyed my listen mate!

on Remember This By DJ-SLT-UK - Julio Oliveira Remix by Juliooliveira

Very cool, I like the Real drum fills. It feels almost like you turned this into an Eighties cop/drama intro tune. Vapourware influenced sound. Bravo

on BCV - Lock Down ft Slimm by BCVProductions

Awesome, One benefit of this quarantine is that people have the time and focus to work on their music. And some of us work well under anxiety and pressure and it allows us to make great music. This is minimalist, but freaking awesome mate.

BCVProductions replied 16th Apr 2020 - 6 years ago

Thank you for thinking about it that way. That is a good sentiment. Another benefit is that I can shower and vacuum less often. My dish washing muscles are a little atrophied, but my netflix watching skills are off the charts and my beer arm is fast like a whip. ;)

on Pure Bass by ASpekto Remix by neuromancer56

Love that guitar intro, almost Floyd like with the female vox, then it just becomes beautiful, those chorused flanged guitars. Well Well Done.

Hey, welcome to the wonderful world of dance and loop making. Listen to DJ STL UK, he knows what he is doing, and he is spot on about the percussion. You want to keep the listener or dancer engaged over the whole track, so you have to add things and take some things away to keep their attention. Do you listen to house? I have found over the years that listening to other great artists' work gives me a perspective on how and what they achieved in there work. Good luck, nice job on this early stuff.

on Tired of Waiting - Lauren Morgan by Juliooliveira

Yeah Mate, Full on Aceed! Creative way you melded those instruments. Captures the heart of the underground rave sound from back in the day with an awesome vocal arrangement. Loved it!

on Leaders Of Tomorrow Remix by InitiumMusic

The good: What I hear is an incredible ability to arrange music in a massively amazing way that is compelling to the listener, vocals and all. What I do not like is the overly compressed sounds in the master mix which will tire the listener's ear. That is easily overcome, if you have the first part down, you are way ahead of the curve of the rest of your peers. The latter is easily fixed. Choose dynamics over loudness mate and you will have a career. There is some really nice arrangements you have made and I am duly impressed.

on Rain Remix by chell55

I see what dankes is hearing. the abrupt beginning and abrupt ending is causing the pop, otherwise a fantastic tune!

Thanks for the feedback! i tried to fix it but couldn't get it much better then it is.

on Infinity by DijamMusic

This has buoyancy and a feathery lightness in its instrumental arrangement. beautifully composed. The strings juxtapose the gravity of the chord structure.

Decent electronic track that maybe Giorgio Moroder would have made in the eighties for a movie.

on Solace by Micky

Awesome, sort of Floyd like, Queensryche silent lucidityish... ... and someone else I can't quite put my finger on. age catching up I guess. it will come to me. Maybe a little Stevie Wonder meshed with the stone roses. Great song, every part of it made me smile for a bit.
Steve

Micky replied 7th Apr 2020 - 6 years ago

Hello Steve,
hope you're still doing well and don't suffer that much from the circumstances we're all in recently.
Thank you for the compliment.
With this song I had to watch like hell not to slide completely over into a Kitsch thing, but the combination of french horn and traverse flute came in like a ghost and avoided that. Phhhhh. Maybe some herb helped, too.
Hey I really love your choice of fav albums: For Your Pleasure - my gosh, Roxy Music; along with Spirit Of Eden - another fav of mine and Chic - the gods of sophisticated dance.
Keep well,
Michael
