on Ray Chris - Eargasm - Better Version by RayChris
The song is interesting. I like the synth melody: it is almost out of tune but just that little which adds a dissonant note to the song. Well done.
The countdown voice is OK (nothing too original, but not bad).
Overall a good song.
Domenico

PS: and please let me join the kick debate... it has a lot of highs but I think it is OK so... and I would just add a doubling kick with a lot of lows to have the best of both worlds ;-)

Malu, you have a wonderful touch.
A lot of your musical choices are not "obvious" and I learn a lot every time I listen to one of your productions, regardless the genre.
Respect man.

on Shiver by Golgi
This is good! I am not sure you need a vocal part: if you keep the song as short as it is, I think there is enough going on to keep the listener busy (I enjoyed the 3 minutes of the song)
Ciao, Domenico

Golgi replied 24th May 2013 - 13 years ago
Thanks for your comments, I was thinking mostly of a one line vocal hook where the chord change is, I think your right that at 3 mins there is almost enough going on to keep the listener interested. Thanks for listening.

on Halo 4 Forward Unto Dawn DJ Viizion Remix by Viizionoficial
I like very much the stop around 2'.
And from there the songs changes the pace in the melody.
Interesting.
Peace, Domenico

PS: I also like the "gaming" style... very nice idea for the end of the song.

on Earth by XmafaX
Good track XmafaX.
I like the way you mixed classical elements and metal ones.
As Danke mentioned, probably you could "merge" better the cello (work on the levels? add some reverb? you know for sure better than me how to achieve this).
Good Work! Are you sure it is no available on 180g vinyl?
Too bad! ;-)
Domenico

PS: if you should ever need some bass notes, just drop me a line

Many thanks for your comment.
Maybe vinyl available in future :)
If you like to add some bass notes It would be great!
Thanks

on No Sleep Tonight feat Bonnie Rabson by charliecharles1
Good song. Love the bass on the break: few notes but very "groovy" (and it sounds like a real bass...is it?)
Peace. Domenico

PS: The vocals of Bonnie are really top class.

Hello Mr Wolf, my what big ears you have !

thanks for listening and that bass riff on the break is a live recording that i found on a very old Akai disc from way back when. I also have to agree with you that Ms Rabsons vocals in this case are awesome and seem to fit the tune quite nicely,

regards,

Charlie.

on 2 Faces of an Hour by deciBel
Really enjoyed this new song of yours Behnam!
I enjoyed boths sides of the "hour" and I really like the "haunting noises" (as Corina calls them) which are following you through all the song.
On the jazzy part... nothing to say! Wonderful bass, the trumpet solo is top-class and everything works perfectly together.
Very well done!
Domenico

PS: I think you are also improving a lot the overall sound quality of your mixes! keep up the good work!

Ciao Domenico , and honoured I'm if U've enjoyed it ,there was two different mood in it as U've said and for me best part was when movement jazzy Bends down to movement one in the middle and by myself I think it was a subordinate level of my trials and grade 2 and nothing was admirable in it .and hahaha (Cor)ina and in fact majority of my friends don't like those hauntong wind which is always blowing in my traX but I don't know why they are always blowing in my mind too and ofcourse my mind has a lot of noise in itself too .any way specially your idea about jazzy part ( according to you know better than me about jazz)and also your important dea about Bass made me glad .thanx for your presence, perception, time, and comment my friend and take care.best wishes.___Behnam.

on Ill Be Waiting - Feat Bonnie Rabson V 2 by AggroCultureMusic
I fully agree with BrillBilly: the song structure is perfect. The arrangement I would say you can only improve the mix/eq, and Billy had a good advice here.
Personally, I would apply different amount of reverb/delay for the quiet parts and the parts where you have more going on in the background.
Overall... wonderful song! Really professional. Respect.
Domenico

PS: I simply love the small vocal bit which you have in the beginning with a lot of echoes
AggroCultureMusic
AggroCultureMusic replied 22nd May 2013 - 13 years ago
Hello Domenico,
Thanks for commenting and giving me some pro advice. Im currently fiddling around for the first time with some reverbs and levelers on the vocals... and YEP you're absolutely right: Different reverb on the quiet parts is definiately the way to go (just found out through extensive testing).
So hopefully with the advice from the nice Looper-people taking the time commenting and guide the noob Ill be able to upload a version 2.0 soon :D

PS: Your track ft Farisha Haque is Superb !

on Praise to life by janis71
Wonderful Song (with capital "S")!
I specially enjoyed the intro part (which makes me thinking more of "middle east") but also the rest (which I feel more "indian") is really good!
Simply Wonderful!
Domenico

PS: on the weekend I had lunch with some Indian friends, this would have been the perfect soundtrack!

on Oppression by Darkreine
Wow! This is very intense.
I really love the vocal melody at the beginning and at the end: you have a good voice.
And the piano part in the middle, with the gunshots in background, is really moving. Maybe this part is even "too much".
Wonderful music!

Nice song!
I have really enjoyed it and your arrangement shows a good taste: light and gentle, highlights the wonderful vocal part.
Good job.
Domenico

PS: Have you thought of posting the acapella for it?
I think your vocal part could work very well also in a more "rock" context.

on Closure by FearlessWretch
Nice track. Enjoyed it.
I could feel some type of "relaxation" but the synth-arpeggio part is building some tension as well... so we could tell it has been a "closure" but there is still a lot of road ahead of us. And on that's how it usually is in real life.
Thanks for posting your music.

on Sit back by janis71
Very nice, soft and joyful song.
Well produced: the mix is perfectly balanced... maybe your voice could be more in the foreground but I suspect your intention was exactly to "step back" and let the instrumental part shine.
Wonderful job!
Take care, Domenico

Hi Behnam,
I don't know why, but is seems that the finest art is always bound to the saddest feelings.
And this is a perfect example: a very sad song touching the inner strings of the human souls.
Thanks again for sharing this wonderful moment with us.
Once more you confirm that you are one of the more talented artists.
