I definitely like what we have here.
This is a very good starting point.
I think you need some minor changes to get it really flying. As others already suggested, try to "enforce" your vocals by adding a doubling vocal part. Or you could try to stress the melody with an instrument in background: it does not have to play exactly the same melody, but you choose some "key notes" and keep the background instrument moving around these notes.
Looking forward to see this song completed.
Domenico
This is a good song!
Funny lyrics, the music is very well played, good voice.
Everything sits right at its place.
Very professional. This could become a hit.
Good luck guys!
Domenico
Listened again and loved it again!
You have put together a wonderful track Mr 12String!
And I am glad to see that Patricia liked it as well.
Regarding the mix, you did a wonderful job: specially when Patricia starts going on the high notes, you managed to keep everything well balanced. I could hear every instrument.
Well done!
Domenico
Well, this track is superb!
Somebody mentioned the "familiarity" of the sounds you have chosen. But once more the production and the way you mix the track is at the top.
This is ready to be heard as soundtrack for next Stallone's movie (don't know why, but I could imagine him playing the fugitive in this one, either him or Harrison Ford... your call)
Take care,
Domenico
Wonderful Behnam!
The guitar is extremely well played: all notes are clear and distinct. And the sound is awesome!
You really tell a story with your music!
And I was glad to see that after the dark part of life (~1:35), we come to see the light again (2:30)
Take care my friend
Domenico

The track is good guys.
It is a bit "commercial" but I think that was the intention.
The mix is polished enough.
Now you just need to put some vocals on it.
Good luck!
Ciao, Domenico
PS: I see from the past comments that you had one of the most beautiful voices of this site visiting you ... but I am sure you have already checked out the pellas section looking for inspiration so you already know her.
Not bad man!
The music fits pretty well the vocal part, and I know that the "reverse engineering" process of finding the right chords for an already existing pella is not easy at all.
Well done!
Domenico
PS: one technical note.
You have some clipping in your track, nothing too bad anyhow.
But as general recommendation, if you don't have enough time to recheck all the channels one by one, try to keep some free headroom on them, this will avoid clipping.
And you can do the same for your "master volume": you don't have necessarily to reach "0db" on your output meter.
Most tools will normalize for you while "bouncing" your mix, thus bringing the levels to a nominal 0db.
For sure not the best workflow, but it ensures that you don't have any clipping.
And sorry for the ramble...
Another good one. Love your musical touch (I will stop saying this, because I have already repeated it so many times...)
The guitar which starts at ~1:40 is simply beautiful!
And so unexpected in this context.
Respect man!
Domenico
I was listening to Daft Punks latest track, and i loved that guitar playing that the guy from chic plays,so i just thought i would have a go at adding a funky guitar sound too lol!
Real pleased you love it as much as i do!
Thanks for taking time to leave your very kind comments!
I hold all comment close to my heart that's for sure,so big thank you!
Oh, I'm out of those green mint leaves for the moment but you'll have your mojito sooner or later!
It was a fun genre to work with - thanks for listening, Domenico!
Good song Nelson.
I really love the sound of the guitar, building a nice carpet throughout the whole song.
The drums are "edgy" and they add some movement.
I have to agree with Behnam: really interesting how you mixed different genres and sounds.
Good job.
Domenico
Thank you Domenico.
I have been listening to Tom Waits and i love that almost experimental texture and approach his songs have and i might have been influenced by it,even tho this instrumental is made up entirely of loops.
I really appreciate your feedback and views on the instrumental.
Hi my friend , glad to see your comment here,& thnx alot for your deep insight & your throoughbred idea, makes me so glad .& about ''ps'' haha ja U're righT as U know that guitars but I should really appreciate your worthwhile Punctuality & true attention which recognize that guitar line . thanx alot for everything Domenico ,& your exclusive word (ciao) this time from myside to U .best wishes.___Behnam
Thanks Domenico! Yeah it was a sad story for such a talented artist in his era. As crucethus mentioned I really enjoyed some of their funk stuff. Thanks for taking the time to listen and commenting! Peace bro! =B-)
What a good song!
I think it could still be polished a bit, but this is good stuff!
I am always surprised by Kenny's voice: he should sing more.
Good work.
Domenico
Thanks for your kind comments mrwolf. Yea the recordings kinda suffered between our daws. Kennys
magics and my Ableton seemed incompatible timing wise and sound wise. But we did our best lol. Almost lost the whole lot at one point when Ableton crashed and all the recordings vanished for some strange reason. Good job we made it just for fun. As people actually like it I might re master it and try to make it better.
Very good as usual Billy!
I totally love how JJ's voice get "integrated" in your composition.
The level of your productions is amazing!
Peace, Domenico
Hip-Hop is not my genre, but your title got me interested and I decided to hear your song.
And I am so happy I did: I really like it!
I enjoyed everything: the rapped part sounds very convincing, no "rough-edges", the words flow like they should; the sung part is simple but it adds a lot to the track.
Good work!
domenico
I really appreciate this comment, I am happy that even though hip hop is not your genre that you took the time to listen. and then with a genuine comment like this makes it even more sweet. Thanks for the kind words!!!
thanks for your words l put the track up to see what feedback I'd get, am pleased by it. will work to get the finished track up. thanks for your feedback l appreciate it. mickey.
Hi Janis,
Love your voice, very gentle and touchy as usual.
I also like a lot the "spoken words" you add in the middle: they really help building some "tension" in the song.
Beautiful. Fav'ed
Very well done!
Domenico
Hello mi amico,
Thx a lot for having stopped by !
What you say 'bout the spoken part is a interesting as I hesitated a lot and still think they sound a little awkward . So your view makes me real glad ;)
Thank you very much for your positive comment which makes me honoured, Domenico .
Take good care ;)
Not my genre.
Anyhow I enjoyed the song.
The mix sounds a bit "dark", but I am sure a soft touch of eq should fix everything.
Maybe the voice could be a bit louder.
Overall: Good song.
