Great track Kenny!
I love the "psychedelic" touch you added to the blues riff.
Actually I was expecting to hear your voice on this: I think you should go further and add some "deep & bluesy" vocal parts to make it even more interesting!
Good work man!
Domenico
Bonnie you have a wonderful voice.
And not only this, you have also a definite and unique style.
I wish you a lot of success, you for sure deserve it.
Domenico
Totally dig it!
We have a superb song here!
Love the way your music works with Patricia's wonderful voice. The result is very convincing.
Like the guitar solo.
I find the guitar work a bit "un-tidy" but this gives the song a good live feeling.
Regarding the mix, I think TopVega was referring to the guitar melody before 0:35 : it is very hard to hear it and it may be interesting to have it pushed louder a bit (maybe, you are the only one who can answer to this).
That said, the mix is good man: if you really want to "improve" it you may try to have the drums sounding a bit less extreme (light eq can help you here) and maybe the distorted guitars sounding tighter.
But I am not sure the song needs it: it is beautiful as it is.
Domenico
PS: sorry for the long comment, but I listened this three times in a row and each time I added something.
Hi Domenico
Really pleased about your comment ! Thanks a lot.
No need to say sorry. Helpful & concrete comments need some more lines. And your comment is very useful. I will try to modify the mix accordingly.
Regarding the 'quite' guitar until 0:39... I don't want to go like a bull at a gate and directly start with a 'solo' guitar part. But maybe a bit more Volume is ok. Let's try.
Instant classic! A masterpiece!
Wonderful voice with combined with a very talented musician.
I may already have told you, I simply love the way your friend plays the guitar.
I have started looking for your WYN album.
Take care, Domenico
Yeah Domenico, you're right . Paul's an awesome guitarist and composer . We worked together for about ten years so at the time this track was made, we knew each other very well musically speaking .
I'm very deeply touched by your words and thank you for us both .
Wow, you drew a big smile on my face ! Thanks a lot my friend .
I'll take care, promise . And please, do the same .

You are right, I was not clear enough...
Let me explain myself...
I was referring to the way you composed your "musical parts" and I used the word broken referring to how the sound is "pulsing": instead of building a compact sound, you have a "pulsing" one. One chord is played by one instrument, then pause and the next chord is played by another one (synth / bass note on piano / piano-chord / synth ... or something like this)
I really like the way you have done this: I try to do it from time to time and I enjoyed a lot hearing how you used this idea to build your song.
Not sure about Tokio by night (was never there) but the song is good: I think your mix is outstanding, everything sits very well in the overall sound image.
Good one!
Domenico
Nice song: I like the usage of "broken loops" you are doing here. Interesting.
Personally I did not like too much the "vocals": I think they are not as good as the rest, but this is only my very humble opinion.
Domenico
What do you mean by broken loops? I actually laid everything down in a drum machine and then arranged it in FL Studio. I put all the elements together in pattern form. Then export each track so I can then arrange it and mix it to my liking in FL. So the only loops involved are the ones the LORD blessed me to make. Thanks for the info. God bless.
I think I may have already said this to you, but I really like the "live feeling" on your songs.
It really sounds like a real band is playing.
Good!
I think the song has still some "rough" edges (a couple of notes here and there) but this is good stuff!
Domenico
You have Domenico, and I appreciate the kind words and the support. You are right abpout the need to go in and clean up some spots. I will be on vacay next week and will have the time to go in and do some retakes in certain areas to clean up things. Also want to get better tone on the lead guitar. It needs to shimmer a little.
Thanks for taking the time to listen and leave a comment. It's appreciated.
This is a beautiful song!
I really like the work on the bass: you build a solid background, playing an interesting yet "discrete" bass line.
Maybe the sound is too "modern" for this song, but I think it adds "interest" to it, so this is a good thing.
The guitar parts are good as well and the organ is very well balanced.
This has to be included among one of the best songs using Patricia's vocals.
Bravo: good job!
Domenico
PS: once more I have to agree to BrillBilly... the song reminds "no woman" indeed, I think it is mostly due to the closure of the verse, with the short chromatic scale.
Thanks bro! really appreciate you lending an ear to this and commenting. It means a lot to me! Yeah the Cult was a pretty good band. Thanks again for the replies! =B-)
Thanks for finding this gem Janis!
I like the music, I can hear echoes of the eighties, these years when pop did not mean "easy" at all... and even if I am late, I agree to Chris: there is something of Kate Bush here and there.
Another wonderful song from our talented musician.
Domenico
I'm very grateful to you for your very gentle words, Domenico . They mean a lot to me .
Oh please no, I cannnot accept the comparison with K.Bush !
I'll never sing as she does ! ...
Than you, my friend,

Superb song.
I will not add any comment on the "subject": this man should be an inspiration to all of us.
I am very impressed by the music: very professional and intense. This is one of your best ones.
Thanks for the nice moment it gave me.
Domenico
Hello Domenico dear,
I wanted something like a background for joined thoughts or prayers, that's why the level's low .
Thank you for having stayed there for a while .
Wonderful! I always liked this vocal track from JJ but you really made it shine! I love this song man!
Everything is perfect: the fx you apply on the voice (but never too much), the choice of the sounds, the idea of the "stop" and the tempo acceleration in the middle of the song.
Love it.
Domenico
Thanks for the great feedback. The tempo idea came from song called Rush by Depeche Mode where they go to half tempo but I decided to include acceleration.
