Hey Dex, how's it going. I'm thinking of applying to teach english in China in the new year. Always wanted to go there, but family held me back. Now my kids are all grown and I have my freedom, lol, again so it is a serious consideration.
The track is great, but there is a part between about 2:30 to 2:40 where there seems to be an error of some kind. I took it back a couple times to make sure and uit was there every time. Shame too, because this is a very beautiful piece.
ah man , u mean where the beat kinda jerks a little huh? yea that is intentional. it is kinda like to get ur attention back to the track for the guitar to come in again.
about coming to china to teach English it is a good idea. u have any particular places in mind?
I found this to be a very enjoyable listen. I honestly know little of reggaeton as a genre, but if this is a good exemplar of the genre I may have to check more of it out.
Thanks for your review. I think if Bruce was still here today, he would also conquer the music scene also with his style of vocals ha ha ha...nothing better than some attitude and philosophical understanding.
thanks John....I had some fun with this one and was lucky enough to bag a prize from the comp....working on a couple more with soundcloud...theres a ZenToy remix you might like to have a go at....could be good with a rock edge
Yeah, this was done back at the peak of my messing with my mix-down stuff. I wanted everything to flow together smoothly (as if samplers buttons each had cross faders like mini-turntables). I also think this was one of those few times where I actually tried to paint a picture with the music (as if the audio would stand up on canvas). Funny bit of side trivia, this was the only track I've ever had suspended on Myspace (they didn't like me using the voc-sam of Louis Armstrong's voice, apparently). Anyways, glad ya dug it. Later on!
I just noticed that my legs were moving like they belonged to a seated Fred astaire wannabe :-) Great movement in this track. Arrangement and production are great as usual. Love the way you used the vocals. Great sounds throughout.

Great track. Everything works. I wonder if Bruce ever imagined in his wildest dreams he would be part of a rap track.

I can almost imagine a relay race with this track, where the music changes during the passing of the baton.
