a good measure of a song, perhaps the best, is when the listener will play it over and over again. So, in looking at your list of listens, I see that thzrt makes a huge statement. I concur.
Great arrangement. The changeup are well placed and make the track akin to a book with different and equally interesting chapters lending to a coherent whole.
An excellent piece of music. Super arrangement and production. What you're doing with the guitar is very different, I like it. I have a new track uop, Belly of the Beast, if you're interested.
This is a super backing track. Love your arrangement and the production is very good as well. All you need is somebody to drop some vocals on this baby.

I agree with Crash, I don't hear anything wrong with the track either. I would, however, like to hear it with the right vocallsist blasting out some cool heavy metal lyrics.

Amp wise it's a Roland Cube 60. To record I literally used a pair of cheapish sony headphones, rested them on the microphone on top of my mac and hit record. Gave it a bit of mixing and bam! :D.
Vocals were recorded in studio though :p xD.
The lyrics were written based on day to day life, going home after a typical boring day at work. 9-5 job. Same thing over and over then depression setting in. Sick and tired, razorblades bring relief.
Pain and grief put at ease for just a day longer. :)

I get where PJB is coming from. This definitely has a commercial quality to it, though I would say the reason is because it would be enjoyed by non metal listeners as well. The only thing missing from this baby are a sweet set of lyics and vocals.
Slayer 2 is a pretty cool program once you get the hang of it. Fortunately for you, you seem to be doing quite well with it. I like the track and admire your production skills.

Like a frieght train thjrough the prairies, this one moves straight ahead and will stop for nothing. I would love to hear some hard hitting vocals over this track.

Interesting you should mention sadness and loss, it certainly wasn't intentional, but without burdening you with my life story I'd say it's very possible that's creeping into my music as of late. The optimism is probably just because I'm a very optimistic person lol.

I'll record "banging my head against a rock wall" really soon. I need to keep practicing and singing it... Sometimes I still stop halfway through and forget the chord changes or the next line.

Guys this is a great track, but there are some places where a little mastering would make it totally pro. Great backing track, great lyrics and the vocals are awesome, though occasionally too up front. I hear major talent here.

Interesting choice of sounds. Production is great, duh like that's not to be expected on a Spivkurl track, and the arranemnt is great (double duh, lol).
