Being into orchestral and all that type of stuff, I love this track. I have to agree with Siensystem though, the instruments have a touch bit too much reverb on them, but all in all you made this exactly as the title describes. Epic, heroic, and amazing.
It sounds pretty good, though I'd make the progression a tad bit softer, in essence meaning that when you change the way the song changes instrument chords or styles, make the transition a bit easier into each other. This will help your song flow and not make the listener confused as to what is happening. When you have hard mixes like that, it takes us a second to realize what is going on.
I like what you have already a lot, though there is one thing that I think you need to do. Play around with some instruments! Get some timpani drums in there, add some horns, bells, whistles, whatever. Though like I said before, you have something with real potential going, and I enjoyed it quite a bit.
First off, I have to ask, did you record this live? It sounds amazingly real. Friggin' epic all the way through, man. It had all the melodies and rhythm working in all the right ways, and I can't really even think of any suggestions for it. Which is saying something. Crazy awesome.
Hello Chimpyguy878. Thanks for the review. All but the drums are played live. I use drum loops because I can't seem to find a band. So this is the closest I get to being a rock star lol. Recording is a blast. Thanks again for the review.
This is phenomenal. Opening riff is awesome, and the change you have going is brutal. What do you use to make your stuff? I'm really tempted to add some strings in there and cover it (with your permission of course) though I do have one problem with it. The chick fight sounds make it sound like someone having bowel problems, or muffled hardcore sex, but that's just me. xD.
All in all, I really enjoyed this track, keep up the good stuff!
I don't know what genre this is, but it's awesome. :]
It's got a great feel to it, and I could see this being in Scrubs or something. I like the middle parts of the song and the change ups. They work fantastically with what you have going, and keep it up.
Very interesting, to say the least. I think you need to do a bit more screaming and vary up the vocals a little bit more, also a change of pace and guitar riffs wouldn't hurt either.
But for the most part, it's better than a lot of the attempts on Looperman. :p
Thankee sai for the review dude; but I certainly dont think that I am better than anyone up in here....I think that this Looperman place is like Earth, it is a SCHOOL man, we are ALL here to LEARN from one another. And if any one of us can teach any other one of us to get a bit more up them rungs of the proverbial ladder, well....
Pretty cool sound, though it's not my genre to be giving advice on, so eh. I'll leave it with that I did enjoy the main sound you had going on here, though there's only so much of one beat I can stand ^^
Very cool effects on the voice, awesome lead about halfway in.
I was a little turned off by the sound of the backwards whateverthehellitwas in the beginning, but it turned out to mix will with the rest of the song. Well done man. Well done indeed.
Thanks for the review Chimpyguy878. Theres more of this coming soon. Doing a collab with someone..(wink wink)might not be a bad idea..maybe a remix? ...hmmm.
Haha, very nice track. I don't know much about hip hop, so you'll have to forgive me if I suggest something that crosses with the genre.
In my opinion, it's extremely repetitive, and that's what killed it for me. In fact, it sounds more like a loop than it does an actual song. Change it up a bit, man! Give it some life! I know it's hard to come up with something that goes along with a classical loop like that, but it would show more if you tried going along with it, rather than leaving it alone. Cheers!
Very cool! It's not very often that we get to hear some vocals on Looperman! Not my style of music, but it sounds well composed, though you might want to cut down on the effects on your voice. It sounds cool, but it could have been in a different language and I couldn't have told the difference.
yea I know, when Im able to sing Louder,I wont put effects but granny was home lol,so I put effects cus it sounds weird cause im holding back...thanks for your review...
It's got a very ethnic sound to it, which I like a lot. I don't really know much about the genre, but I have to say that you did a great job blending all the instruments together. Welcome to looperman, and I hope you enjoy your stay.
As u said . i wasn't sure about the genre. couldn't u help me out and tell me in which genre this track would suit the best.. and a great thanks to you for your reply..
Awesome sound and rhythm! Though I think you may want to use a compressor on the kick. It's got some distortion going on either in my headphones, or on your end. But, very cool song nonetheless.
As far as Cinematic goes, I have to say this was a very good attempt at something like a movie theme, but there aren't enough changes at hand to give a real 'theme-like' sense to it. Could this pull off at Ambient? No doubt. Cinematic? Eh, not so much.
Wow, thank you. The first minute isn't even the best minute. My favorite part is where the left hand drops down an octave and the right hand starts banging back and forth, from low to high.
I made sure the song is actually playable, although it does require some good pedal control; there are a few places where you have to use the spot sustain if you want it to ring the notes exactly the way it's "played." Sadly, I'm not sure if I'm skilled enough to play it.
Considering that I dislike Hip-hop, you've got me interested in this track. It's got a great sound, and enough variation to hold my interest the entire time. I don't quite know what you've done before, but if you've improved, I'd say it's been by a great deal. Well done mate!
This was awesome. Makes me venture off into a distant Middle Eastern world, and then Chuck Norris comes in and starts killing people. Ahah, yeah.
I was rocking out the entire time while listening, loving every riff and beat you had in it. Oh, sir. I am addicted to the sweet pitch of it's siren. *Replay*
Rock on, dude. Rock on. I love seeing a bit of metal around here, rather than all the hiphop and techno. Keep it up, mate!

I enjoyed this piece quite a bit, my only suggestion is to add in some echoing drums with a slap of reverb on 'em. Mhm.
Other than that, well done mate.
