Do anything you like CG,this is just a little whimsy, mostly because the afore mentioned Kylie gets up my nose,I mean she's been dining out on her looks for to long and never really made any substantial music, she's made substantial money but that's all...have fun rip it up.....planet
I liked this song. Though, it was missing something. I don't quite know what it is, but there's something that just doesn't sound right. Perhaps it's perfect, and just not my style of music. It sounds like it's 80's-90's music. :]
What I think would sound REALLY cool in this song, is the drum beat from Marilyn Manson's Personal Jesus. The whole Duh duh duduh thing would sound great, I believe.
I think it sounded great, though it did get somewhat slow in the middle. Being into orchestral music myself, I'd suggest putting some violins/violas or some type of higher-pitched instrument to go with the chorus near the end.
Edit: The end of the track also got a bit confusing.
To say the least. The synth that started in the middle of the song didn't sound quite right. Perhaps if you had a bit of distortion of the synth right before each time it started, it'd sound more...
yeah, i thought the same but again.. this is just the pattern the samples are in... with the kaoss pad they flow better and have more effects,
thanks,
later on i'll upload one of my songs (all me.. no samples)
Alright, I know you're new here, and I REALLY don't like bringing people's enthusiasm down, but you NEED to stop using MIDI files. There are thousands of loops here, along with drum kits. The harmonica, the piano, and the guitar(?) sound great. You just need to get rid of those smelly MIDI drums. Other than that, it was an easy listen, and you did quite well on it.
Really finish your tracks. You have the ability to make some awesome tunes, you just need to finish your songs. One word of advice; you might want to find a drum kit to take out that compressed sound with your drums. It's a lot of work to re-create, though I think it would make the track ten times better.
...When nobody reviews your track? This reminds me of Velvet Acid Christ, if you've ever heard of them. It's quite good. I'm not much into techno, so I don't believe I have any advice for you. Keep up the good work.
Since you're new here, i'll give a little creative critisizm. I like it. I think the bells do well with the piano. Though! As I sit here with my guitar in hand, I saw "It needs some guitars, but I can't find a good sample." NOW! Were you looking for an acoustic guitar? I could whip you up a few acoustic loops particularily for this song, if you like.
Meh, I don't enjoy techno on this site, considering it's practically the only thing that prospers around here other than HipHop. Your track reminds me of the song Popcorn. It's pretty cool, in a lo-fi way.
Well done, though I have to say the pauses in the strings didn't sound good. The synth you put in didn't match up to the main feeling of the song much either. I apologize for being so blunt, though I figure there's no reason to beat around the bush. Overall, the track was alright.
Your song portrays what you were trying to paint, and it did what you wanted to beautifully. I can see everyone doing a slow jog down a sidewalk wearing all black suits, a briefcase, and having absolutely no consideration for each other. :] Well done.
I usually hate rap music. Though, I have to say, I loved this. The vocals with the strings matched perfectly, the bass and the snares went well together. Congrats on a great track.
This song makes me feel evil. *Shifty eyes* Reminds me of a villan with a pencil thin mustache and a huge chin. At least the first part anyway. I'd suggest adding something to accomidate the drums. It doesn't sound too good with just metal drums. :] !LEAVE THE ORCHESTRA PART ALONE! You did beautifully on this part. Otherwise, add some guitar/bass/something that would fit the whole evil cliche, and you got yourself a download from me.
Don't get your hopes down. I think it's a great intro so far. Strings help everything. Everything I tell you! Otherwise, I do like it. The track almost seems like a mix between 80's rock and...and..and.. something else. BUT! That's beside the point. An effort well made.
Considering that i'm quite a fan of orchestral music, I quite enjoyed this track. Though! The one problem I had with it, is the transition between clips. I can hear the point of repetition, and it's like.. "Wow." In order to fix this (With acid) try slightly moving the clips on top of each other, hence making the transition smoother. Otherwise, well done.
This has to be one of the worst or best songs i've ever heard. Problem is, my brain can't function while listening to it. The beat is amazingly confusing, but it does have a certain goodness to it.
