deciBel 18th May 2014 17:27 - 12 years ago

well I don't know much about hiphop as U know but it was a cool arrangement & beat for Billy's voice ...I may prefer more
layers of sounds but I think this is a trait of hiphop...
but beyond everythings , ...want to confess I having no guess how someone who doesn't play any instrument can recognize scale & intervals to can design a suitable platform for vox!like what U've done here ! ..hamishe dar morede un mas'ale hamintor mohtat bemun refigh in this cruel world of human & humanoids ...respecT & best wishes.___B

M8TN replied 27th May 2014 - 12 years ago

good morning, thank you for taking time to listen and comment, I really appreciate it. I don't know what scale and interval mean, so im not sure I recognise them :) (I will go and read about it now, thank you) This song was not written by me, I made it a bit dreamier and like it was floating around, that's all. :)
I'm sorry to hear you feel the world is a cruel place, I hope you won't feel like this always.
take good care

This is an inspirational type beat. Love it.

M8TN replied 27th May 2014 - 12 years ago

thank you Marquis (nice name! :))

radioilluminati 17th May 2014 13:55 - 12 years ago

Sorry my mistake. I saw the name BillyDragon and thought you were the dragon.

I think the synths need to have a more fat sound(bigger sound), so if I were you, then I would put more synths together to create that effect. Like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YhGzGrFigM

M8TN replied 27th May 2014 - 12 years ago

no prob. thanks for the video suggestion (I tried watching it but I kept dozing off)

AZZYKO 17th May 2014 08:23 - 12 years ago

Love the intro build up, beat is so sick, melody, just everything!

M8TN replied 27th May 2014 - 12 years ago

thanks for the feedback :)

radioilluminati 16th May 2014 22:10 - 12 years ago

It sounds alright, but I would layer more synths together to make a fatter sound, otherwise it will sound a bit weak.

Do you shapeshift haha? I'm Rh negative too.

M8TN replied 17th May 2014 - 12 years ago

Im not sure what u on about! :) I think I'm ok for antigens (?)
Thanks for the feedback, that's interesting. Do you mean the eq is no good? If I increase low tones it sounds better on my laptop speakers, but not on hifi. There's a few synths in there.
Should you have the time, I'll appreciate if you show me what would make it sound stronger:

Cool number...like this minimal pulsation...this is ambient?...who cares what genre, good music...could imagine rap on it...and it would be hip hop immediately...:-)

Congrats, Danke
