In short sidechaining makes other sounds lower when the beat kicks in. With heavy sidechain you got a pumping effect(which i dont like) but when used balanced it will make the mix more natural. But you have a lot of creativity and that is something you cant learn. Good job!
Hey Mudhoen i think i get the start of an understanding i'll study that tonight and try to get a grip of it im 63 going on 20 in my head but there is always something to learn every day thanks for making my day a better one. Best regards Robbie.
Nice use of theg loop. As DI already said, the sub complements the loop very good. Very clean mix. Maybe a hook or other loop to keep the tension. Nevertheless good stuff!
Very awesme intro....classical choir with some nice spacelike evolving pad. Creates a nice flow. You should use a bit of sidechain to let the drum pattern be in the mix instead of on top. For the rest it is a fun to listen to.
Nice to see(or hear) that you are busy making new stuff. Your vocals are great as usual and the beat fits perfect! Im glad to hear you have more bass in your voice than before which naturally comes with age of course. But it makes your vocals come out even more. Really looking forward to your new album. Your last was very good!
Haha, thanks mudhoen! No doubt. I've been doing a few vocal exercises sense my last project and look to push it to the next level in the next and make the music I've really wanted to make. And, thanks. Hope not to disappoint with my future work!
Very happy to see another release from you Mr. Spivkurl. As soon as I hear the first note I hear the typical lo-fi synths combined with some crazy rythms, melodies and glitches. The bassline is beefy without overdoing it. The mix is great and very clear. Many thanks for sharing!
Thank you for again visiting my selection of songs!
My synthesis style is becoming even more spontaneous, if that could be possible. I don't even have most of my gear hooked up at the moment, so I just connect what I want to record, whether midi and/or audio.
There are some reorganizations going on in the home, especially regarding live performance and visual/concrete art. Can't help but feel the changes and the losses. We lost a huge section of our willow tree in a storm this week, a tree which we planted around our wedding time. Hard loss, but we were lucky.. leaning against the house it was!
I am picky about my subsonic frequencies. I'm not one of those mutha-frackers. Happy you liked the sound of it.
Your sound is as expected from you. Spot on beats with great sampling and strong vocals. Sounds better than half of the mainstream hiphop out there! Hats off!
Very nice uplifting Track! Love the intro as it instantly gets tension in the track and gets you interested in the rest of it. In the 2nd part after 2 minutes some notes are a little bit off. You might wanna check it out. After the drop its sounds very nice again although there are some false tones aswell in there. If you can clear that out you have a very nice and solid track!
You guys really know how to work together and create some fantastic stuff. This one is sugar to my ears. The sounds are so clear and vivid. If this track would be 1 hour I still be listening to it all as it doesnt get boring. Respect!
Awesome track. Watched the video on youtube and it is made very profesionally. The mix is spot on and the vocals are great. The best thing is how you perfectly blend in all different types of vocal shots and fx. Definetly favoured!
Very nice tension buildup. The vocals are definetly very strong and you mixed it well in with the track itself. The transition to the 2nd part is seamless. Very nice track!
Very nice track you made here. The first part is very good and you did some good work on the macbook. You should notch it up a little. I understand you want to keep its small so the 808 will hit harder but now it was a bit too minimal. The drums and 808 hit nice and the hihats play nicely on the beat. The melodic sounds you put in are well mixrd and give an excellent vibe to it. Nice job!
The track has a nice flow to it. I think it has a very wide range of vocals that would fit to this track. the mix is good and ready to explore the deep ocean sea!
Very nice production eventhough there are enough parts that could be mixed better. The volume of the vocals differ too much which coudl easily be altered. The repeating closed hihat is a bit boring. try to put on a bit ping pong delay and a small bit of reverb. It will sound very vivid then. For teh rest good stuff and fun to listen to.
Very nice beat with some badass 808s. Love the vocal shots as they add up to the quality of the track. You even put in a nice hook. Hopefully you can find someone to spit some bars on it. Great job!
Definetly one of the best spoken word tracks I ever heard. The story is captivating especially as it feels like an inner discussion and struggle to keep your head above water. The music is very supportive and blends in well. Just remember, life is never worthless. You are gifted and I am glad I pushed the play button on this track!
Very well composed track. Love how the track build up a lot of tension without being to bombastic. The short elctric guitar is surprisingly fresh and maybe could have had a bigger place in the track. Nevertheless a very good production. Thank you for sharing!
I think everything has already been said in the comments. Another fun and unique spivkurl track. It is always a surprise where come up with every time :-)
With almost every track I release any more, I am simply shocked by the reception... the plays, comments, and whatever else. I can personally understand, but when I step back and try to view things as a whole, it gets confusing. It is worth making songs simply for these chances to connect with like minded individuals, other artists, and art lovers. Thank you very much for listening, and leaving a comment!
Very nice complex cinematic sound. Feels like i have returned to the middle ages listening to teh first part. It has so many colourful and complex changes.Feels like classical rapsody. Liked it a lot.

That high pitched sound is great and really sets the groove. Nice and fluid panning on it.
