Very nice and epic sound! Love the genre especially for the big boost it gives. You made a very solid track with some nice build ups and drops. At the 1:30 you really step it up a notch and turns into a real banger! Very good first try. Maybe you could turn up the sound of the synth a little bit. Definetly worth the favor!
Nice dark sound with some nice Cramer-vocals are good inmgredients to make some great music. And this one is not an exception. Very well mixed and executed. Sehr schön!
First i have to say sorry for the late reply.
Always good to read some nice comments on a song like yours!
Good to know that you liked what i did and that you believe that i done it well.
I am happy that i don't disappointed you.
Thanks for the listen and the friendly words Mudhoen.
Very odd but fun combination. I imagine it must have been a lot of fun to creat this track. Very fun sounds blended together in a nice mix. The sounds are overlapping eachother which cause some of teh sounds dont come out perfectly clear. But nevertheless a fun track to listen to. Well done!
Very nice track! You can really feel the motion of the midnight express and teh sounds come out very clear. I like the hook you used. It really sets up for the rest of the track. Well done!
thank you for sharin your personal feeling! i probably work again on it (some details) but i need before to finish an other track, a dub sound in the spirit of High Tone :)
Really good track with top notch vocals. Very soulful and warm. The instrumental is backing the vocals great and stand out next to her beautiful voice!
Love to hear some dnb for a change especially made as well as this track. Very sick low beat with nice change in the rythm. The effects are subtle and fit perfect to the dark atmosphere created by the bassline. Well done!
You cant hear that this is your first try on this genre. It sounds more like an experienced production. You seamlessly fit teh vocals and synths together as a whole and have a lot of variation in the melody and beat. It was and is a joy to listen to and cant give you any hints as it is perfect in my ears! Respect and favoured!
Very nice track. A very promising intro turning into a laidback sound which really gets you going. I definetly agree that some good vocals could turn this already good track into a banger. Hope you can find a good singer!
Nice track. Your vocals sound like a mix between bone thugs and outkast and that is a big compliment. I understand the most of what you are saying so clear enough for me. The beat is good and fits the vocals nicely!
Great melodic intro. The drop is very energetic and makes me shake my head up and dwon :p. After the climax you start very little again. the sudden synth that comes back again is a bit too sudden. You might be automate the volue there a bit to let it glide in a bit more. The 2nd drop is well executed again and gives a good feel to the track. Maybe you could lower teh bass sound just a notch. But overall hats off. Cool track!
Thanks for the tips and guidances man ...
Sorry for bad mixing , its a demo
After uploading this , I mix and master it and it to hardwell reveald and avicii as a demo track ... IDK they will answer me or not . Im not real pro but I have energy and head full of melodies ... I wish they answer me .
Ooh man do I like this smooth and soulful track. Such a nice flow. The saxophone is so deep and melody so catchy. The guitar after is top notch. You should try and contact Maddie(https://www.looperman.com/users/profile/1887991) and ask if she wants to collab with you. I made a track with her and she really has a great voice which would fit perfect with this song. My hats of and a deep bow for you Mr Mack! One of the best songs I heard on LM lately!
Thankyou for the comment.I will check Maddie out because i do have a vocal consept for this track. Glad you liked it and took the time to comment.PEACE. THE MACK MAN OUT.
Very good first track on ableton. The sounds come out very clear. The chord progression is strong and the synth sounds great. Looking forward to your next track(or this one completed)
Very mysterious intro. The bells after that really transit this track nicely into the padding and panning sounds which sounds very awesome. The whole track is mixed well adn teh lead is weird but tastes good(like peanutbutter/jelly is weird but tastes good :p). very well produced and fun track!
Fun track you made here although it should be Light into Dark as the track turns darker to the end. The melody is catchy and the drums clear. maybe you could add in a pad to give even more atmosphere to it. nevertheless a nice track to listen to!
True, just realized - I'm guessing you mean the last drop where more dark instruments come in and the weird siren builds up. I'm still working on my skills, so I'll try and get a pad floating around in it. Thanks for listening! :D
Very nice rapsody you made here. So many nice melodies and variations give this track a very nice and mwlloe atmosphere. All teh sound scome out very clear and thus mixed very well.
Im not very familiar to the genre but with this track you made curious what more there is. Very nice track and great build up. You give a greta feeling with all. Some chill vibes with some serious guitar flavour. Very nice and well executed track!
A lot of psychedelic sounds on LM lately and this one fits perectly to the genre. Love the 8bit sound you introduce in the beginning of the track. Feels like a grasp of sanity in the psychedelic atmosphere which you created with the bassline and the drums. The transition to the 2nd part is original and well found. Nice 90s Vocal mix you used there. In the 2nd part the 8bit transist into the psychedelic realm aswell which makes the sound ewven more depper than it was. In the 3rd part you really get the story going. The high tones give a fresh but still vibey feeling. The spivkurl signature is definetly in here. A nice and fun track to listen to. Well done!
Since psychedelic is a new addition to the genre choices, I'm glad that it is finally catching on! I guess I can't quite say what the "2nd part" is... it was all plateaus of different lengths, specialties and intensities for me. That 8 bit sort of sound you mention, while it may be the grasp of sanity in the beginning, sort of intensifies the time warp aspect later on. The primary vocal clips are actually from the early 90's, so it makes sense that they would give a 90's impression. I've been chewing on that half hour insanity for years now, as it was one of the best moments in television history. I can't help but autograph everything I do, it seems... even a simple conversation with a stranger. I frighten someone from a seated position, with witnesses and a digital recorder in hand. The world is beyond beginning to crack, and that needs to be addressed. Thank you for being the first to leave your comment on this piece... I expect my next one will be a lot different from this, as I don't usually work in the box like this. Thank you!!!
Very nice piece of music you created here. As usual the mixing is spot on but in this particular track I love the chosen instruments. The way you use the cello is pretty unique for my ears. They give the track a strong backbone. The short jazzy break at 2:50ish is awesome and fits very well. It fits seamlessly to the whole of the track. The drums and especially the change of rythm in it keeps the track interesting eventhough it is 8:42 long. The drums that are coming in at 5:35 are a bit to sudden for my taste but that is probably personal preference. The slowing down to the end is really strong and gives a very dark and mellow touch. Great track and instafav!
It really has to be with the kind of music I make otherwise it doesn't work properly. I'm not making catchy songs or dancefloor anthems so everything has to be sound good as it's supposed to be music you listen to over and over again.
"I love the chosen instruments"
Good. There aren't very many of them as I've kept it quite minimal and tried to get the cello to do as much as possible. I've been doing that a lot in the last few months.
"The way you use the cello is pretty unique for my ears"
Yes, probably so. I generally use quite a simple combination of effects (mostly delay, reverb, chorus, sometimes distortion) that means that I my cello never really sounds like a traditional cello, as used in classical music. I'd quite like to get that sort of classical vibe as I think it would inspire a different style of music making. But I also like the sounds I get using these effects.
"The short jazzy break at 2:50ish is awesome"
I was thinking of getting rid of that whole section that follows (the one featuring Fender Rhodes) but then decided that I like the drum loops too much to get rid of the section.
"that are coming in at 5:35 are a bit to sudden for my taste"
That's where there's a big, sudden drum fill as the swing jazz drumming returns. I wanted something exciting and explosive but maybe I've got it wrong. I don't mind hearing that.
"The slowing down to the end is really strong and gives a very dark and mellow touch."
Yes - I like that slow, dark vibe. The reason I did it is because this track was made out of another recent one that you liked:
So, I still had all those slow, shuffle groove drum parts sitting on my timeline so I decided to reuse them (and change them). I think a slow, dark chillout ending is a good way to close things out and makes it seem like a real journey.
Very nice and solid intro. Love how you start with acapella adn then slowly introduce the drums and synth. Maybe you could turn the beat a notch louder. The vocals are very clear and that is good but the beat doesnt hit enough now. Nevertheless a great track and fav!
Very well produced track you made here. Love how you put in the synths to give that spacelike funky feeling. I definetly agree that vocals would fit perfectly here. There is enough talent here so hope to hear this track again with vocals soon! Good luck!
Thanks Mudhoen. I've already gone and taken some posted suggestions and I'm trying to let things soak in for a bit, The wife and kids are out of town, so it is nice not to feel rushed just to try to start and finish something in an evening. As for talent on here, you're absolutely right. You're part of it. Still go back and listen to Windrunner...it's that no frills, dark but uplifting trance that got me into this stuff years ago. And I'm guessing most, if not all, from scratch.
This is not the usual stuff i hear from you but you definetly do it some more. The track is very laidback and give a very warm vibe. In the 2nd part after 2:40 it really starts to get really groovy with the jazzy influences. the vocal shot really gives live to the track. Very well done and well mixed!
Very nice remix you made here. The beat and piano fit perfectly to the vocals. The time you took to make this track is astounding. You might give the vocals a little more room though. They fall away from the beat a bit at some parts. But definetly good stuff!
well. thanks for your comment
yea it took me less than a hour thats a simple track, actually I put myself in challanges to make creativity. ehm.
actually that parts are the dubdrop that vocals should fall away cuz FM basses and leads should lead the music and vocals will change their places with other stuffs like pads and etc which are playing low and just making the track busy, noisy and populated which we need in dubdrops, thanks for your feedback btw.
hats off
