I revisited your track and it really stands out. Great job definitely worth pushing further. This track has strong hit potential.
The vocal performance is captivating, and the atmosphere is beautifully crafted for the genre. Theres a clear artistic identity here. With a refined mix and a polished master, this could easily stand alongside high-level releases. Great work this definitely deserves further development and exposure. The track has a solid foundation and strong emotional delivery. To elevate it further, the mix could benefit from more clarity and balance especially in the midrange and vocal presence. A tighter low end and more controlled dynamics would help. With proper mastering (EQ, compression, stereo image), it can reach a very professional level.
Thank you so much for your interest, I'm flattered.
The vocals are nothing special; I used AI because if I sang them myself, I know people would have nightmares for weeks, haha. With the help of ChatGPT, I adapted the lyrics I had in mind into English (I don't speak English) to make them sound good using different words.
Once I had the lyrics, I went to Suno.
I told the AI: "An a cappella female voice for a chill house track. The chord progression is B-Ebm-Db-G#m, tempo 120 BPM, each chord lasts 8 bars. A soft, ethereal, and sweet female voice with a warm and emotive tone. The performance is intimate and expressive, with whispered textures and clear pronunciation. Avoid excessive vibrato or an aggressive performance. Maintain a soft, calm, and hypnotic tone."
I also explained the song's structure to him and how he should interpret each part of it.
After several attempts, we came up with something I liked.
Its the kind of music I love. Youve done an amazing job here. Incredible spacey sound, beautiful pads, really nice vocals, and a fantastic guitar and composition. Everything is measured and well-balanced. Well done.
Fantastic track. The guitar and keyboards are beautiful, the vocals everything is very nicely done. The bass and drums are strong elements. Well doneI really liked it.
Id suggest giving a bit more space to the guitar and keyboards so they dont have to push forward in the mix. Maybe lower the vocals slightly and balance the strings.
Best regards,
Chris
thankyou Chris, now you introduce yourself, I feel i can use your name now lol, your experience and feedback are welcomed, I'm still really learning the best ways I was a complete novice 6 years ago a looper, its only the last few years I started doing more myself and started to invest in kit a better interface and mic. I have a dedicated air button to bring the vox forward, but the vox were recorded loud i could take a few db off lol, it was my first go with it all, with tweaks I'll improve the levels but I created a loud artist, now i can't shed him lol, thanks your time its appreciated
Ive always been drawn to this minimalist vibe in hip hop tracks. Here we have an amazing piece of workeverything fits together, with a heavy musical theme and a very interesting performance. Bravo, my friend
Chris so sorry i missed this comment, i pride myself on replying to anybody that gives me their time, so I'm very annoyed with myself,
i had so much fun on this, i think it was the thumping beat and bass, i delivered it tongue in cheek with a huge smile on my face, i really got on the vibe, the great thing with finding music is you sometimes find your true self and maybe talents you never knew you had, I do like minimalist believe it or not, dimestop is the bloody extravagant noise in my head tho, thanks for the listen
Youre one of the few who have remained here on this creators page. You know, I still have some of your old songs from many years ago, back when I too was a member of BeetJazz.
All I hear in your work is growthnothing but improvementand I was always sure, as I told you so many times, that you would go on to do great things. And you did!
As for me, Ive now formed a music group with some old friendssomewhat old-fashioned in style, but I believe its quality work. We always keep it amateur and play the occasional small gig just for the joy of it.
For the past two years, weve been working on an album, and were now in the final stages of finishing it. The title is Urban Stories.
Id especially love for you to listen to what Ive uploaded, because I truly value your opinion.
Very interesting interpretation. I really liked the voice and the way the piece is performed. Its distinctive, just like many of your works. I also liked the spoken sectionits very emotional. The effects are fantastic. The lyrics are wonderful as well.
As a drummer, the first thing I heard was beautiful drums. Steady, in (not simple) time absolutely. I re-listened to the track a few times because the first one always gives the wrong impression. Technically it sounds great, I was impressed with the final file like quality. I think I would put it in new jazz, so I justify the different passages from the instruments you added. I liked that the bass is often out of sync with the drums, this makes the piece of special technique. Congratulations. In general, it is a very good job.
LINEARFADE! Greetings. The detail you shared in your feedback is very helpful. I'm still learning and this type of track requires a lot of consideration for many different elements. It's also great to know a few listens was necessary to draw a fair conclusion. It's good to know this effort proved to be a decent listen.
Ouaou this is a very special mix of Techno and 90s music. The vocals are very good. The composition of the music balanced. Nice to hear that. For your second piece, it is also very good. Regards Chris
In this second song, I used Odarka's voice again; it helps me create a melody. I make this kind of music because it comes most easily to me, and I also enjoy it. I'm not a musician, and I practically learn everything by ear. I use the circle of fifths to figure out which chords I can combine. At my age, I'm content simply enjoying creating and the satisfaction of having my close friends listen to what I do.
By the way, I appreciate your offer to send me the album when you release it, but I think what you do is so good that it should be paid for, which I'll gladly do.
Thank you very much for listening to my music and commenting on it.
Best regards, Juan Carlos
Hello my Greek friend,
These feelings about wars where lives are lost and the future becomes less bright and promising, are universal and timeless. Every country has its Unknown Heroes who embody the world's excellence and deserve our love and deep respect. The poem was written many years ago, and it is wonderful to hear that it moved you. I am really glad you enjoyed my song, and making you happy is one of the main reasons I created it. You speak this language, so you know how expressive it can be. It can be complex or simple, but when it brings happiness, it's not just beautiful, it's a blessing. That made me feel twice as happy, my friend.
Best wishes, Anthony
Hello Chris
I am often unsure about the genre, but since ambient is such a broad category, this song might fit. What makes me curious is that my tracks (which I call ambients) have many rhythmic, percussive elements, and I am not sure if that's typical for the ambient genre. Still, if it resonates with your sense of ambient music, that's a good sign.
Best wishes, Anthony
For a first time in music creation, youve done extremely well! ODARKAs voice is beautiful. The dance track is really great as well, and I have to say I was impressed when I read that this is your first piece. Congratulations! If you continue like this, I believe we will soon hear great things from you.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I had just bought the PC, keyboard, etc., and I didn't know where to start. Odarka's voice inspired me, and this is what came out. I guess it was beginner's luck, haha. Cheers!
The idea is really great. The sound has a strong 90s electronic hybrid vibe, which I really enjoy, and your vocals fit very nicelythey add a unique character to the composition.
That said, just to offer some constructive feedback as well, I feel the mix could be a bit more balanced. With some adjustments (Im not referring to mastering), it could highlight the tracks unique style even more.
Of course, you may not be professional sound engineers, but with a bit more attention to the mix, it could help the listener connect more easily with the weird and distinctive side of the track. Overall, with a little refinement, this could become a really interesting piece. Congrats my friend
Thanks, glad you like it, and thanks for the feedback.
I am just a hobbyist who likes to tinker; I do not strive for fame or fortune and am absolutely not a sound engineer, or even a singer. I have tinnitus and miss some frequencies because of it, but oh well, it's just a hobby. For professional quality, you could ask Robin for the stems, perhaps reuse my idea, adapt the lyrics, and find a good singer (or singers) to produce a professional track that might actually stand a chance of becoming successful; it would be nice if my ideas led to something good :)
Robins work is as-is, just touched the ending, but I used Ozone Imager to add some extra width on the beat and vocals.
But again, thanks for the comment and feedback, appreciate it.
Although it's not the genre I would listen to, the production is very good. All the instruments are balanced, nice bassline, the FX are amazing. The performer is very good. Congratulations my friend.
Hello there,
Thank you so much for visiting and listening to my music. It is so pleasant to read that you liked it and that these three things came to your mind. Greece, sea and dance. Your music is great, I am already a fun and I will soon visit to listen to more of your works.
Best wishes, Antonis.
Good evening my friend from Greece. I listened to your piece a few times to get a better "picture" in the comments and I want to do something about it. The melody is very good, great mood, nice tone in the playing, but technically there is a serious problem in the mixing of the two instruments. It's a shame, maybe you should watch it again, so that the piece can be highlighted properly.
Hi Beatjazz.....I appreciate your comments and listening to the track....I agree the second volume could be a little more uplifted....it did sound a little minimal at recording but I went with it......may to address. I do thank you again for your review.
Ciao dear Seelegold. Molto bello, come tutti i tuoi brani. Grazie.
Yes, the order you mentioned is correct: The description of what we actually think we will find in space when we already have the indescribable beauty here was there first and only then did the song come; it was actually superimposed on the description and not, conversely, the description was given to the song afterwards. I am very happy if the song is perceived by you or the listener as this harmonious whole.
