Description : My second song. Very simple, just 7 tracks:
-One track for percussion
-Another for the kick drum
-Two with Podolski for pads and arpeggio
-Another with a Tyrrell N6 for the sub-bass
-An Analog Lab V for keys
-And of course, Odarka's voice, which is what brings the song to life.
It's helped me learn to play with volumes and prioritize vocals or instruments at certain points, and to continue learning equalization and mastering, which I find incredibly complicated.

This is the second song I've made to learn, and with Odarka's voice, everything is much easier. I listened to what you posted a little while ago; I thought it was very good. You clearly have talent and a natural talent for this.

Ouaou this is a very special mix of Techno and 90s music. The vocals are very good. The composition of the music balanced. Nice to hear that. For your second piece, it is also very good. Regards Chris

In this second song, I used Odarka's voice again; it helps me create a melody. I make this kind of music because it comes most easily to me, and I also enjoy it. I'm not a musician, and I practically learn everything by ear. I use the circle of fifths to figure out which chords I can combine. At my age, I'm content simply enjoying creating and the satisfaction of having my close friends listen to what I do.

By the way, I appreciate your offer to send me the album when you release it, but I think what you do is so good that it should be paid for, which I'll gladly do.

Thanks for the comment. Right now, I'm finding it really hard to come up with ideas for compositions, so I need a voice to inspire me to set it to musicin this case, Odarka's wonderful voice. I hope that with time I'll be able to create on my own.

Hello juankar, I thoroughly enjoyed this deep house track you've put together....Odarka's vocals are excellent as usual but the music you put together is a perfect fit for those vocals and really powers this effort....its really good.

This is great again. Again i tell you that i think you will learn the mastering fast. This is your second track and see how good it sounds.
I wish i could let my beats sound like proffesional but after 6 years i still cant.

I'm glad you like it! I personally prefer the first one, but this is just for learning. But don't say you can't get it after six years; I just listened to "Games Begun" and it's really good.

Oh yeah, this is spot on!! Takes me straight back to the 90's! Yeah, vocals can be a real pain to deal with at times. I still struggle with the same issues you do while trying to master the DAW I use, Abelton Live 11 Lite. You're on the right path here, keep plugging along, even when you get so frustrated and on the verge of exploding. Might take a while, but working knowledge doesn't come in one day. Work at your pace, and you'll get there! The track is excellent, strong work! PS: +1 for Analog Lab V, so much stuff to work with!

Thank you so much for your comments. The '90s were one of the best eras for music, in my opinion. I'm still learning little by little, and Analog Lab V really does have some great sounds that sometimes make things easier. I also really like the Podolski VST.

I've been using Reaper since 2024 and have never felt the need to switch DAW.

Thank you so much. Any DAW seems complicated to me, haha, but I found a lot of video tutorials for Reaper on YouTube, so I decided to learn with it. I'm going to listen to some of your music.
