Look at all the pretty colors! This sir, is a very healthy dosing of experimental. It's so nice to hear something that doesn't fit in with the general constraints typically found in most music. And to make a song with virtually no drums either, I'm shocked (gasp). Vision getting fuzzy...And... Feeling weak... Must... Sit... Down... Haha. Interesting stuff you've got going on here mate!

Of someone along the lines of Q-Tip droppin the vox for this. I dunno why I just hear it. Very chill track holmes. All systems check 5 by 5!

on You Know... by phasturbo
Though at the mo I can't put my finger on it. It's cool that you learnin Reason too, coz I dropped the money to get it and once I installed it I was like, 'What tha hell!?'. Haven't really messed with it since. I guess I'm more of what you'd call an old fashioned 'plug-and-play' type.

The bass was spy movie cool and the drums were all over the place. Went from electro, to hiphop, to pop, to sorta drum&bassey. My only request for this would be to add some more pads or leads if you were to remix or redo this. Good stuff, otherwise. Lates!

Yeah, there's a definite learning curve with Reason. My advice, get on it and just mess with everything! If you have a background using other programs/sequencers, this'll come to you quite easily after messing around with it for a bit. Thanks for the listen and the advice!

on See How You Are by beastly
Small bar oriented. I could totally see this being played at some beach tiki-hut type of joint while kickin back sippin on a Corona. Maybe your cousin is doing exactly that in the ever-after, may he rest in peace. My only request is to add somethin like a Boron or a Herdy-Gurdy to it. Lates!

on Bitter by beastly
This is soundin super Euro to me. Like I could so see this being played at some kinda super party in front of the Arch de Triumph in France (kinda like was done with one of Paul Van Dyk's older videos off of his 7-Ways album). Pretty decent. Lates!

on Take Me Higher by DougieDJ

on Krusty's Fun House by DougieDJ
YAY... So this is kinda got me goin on a lil flashback trip, because I made this track back in the first year of producin that held a similar theme (Fun houses- in fact, I think that was it's name, haha). Dang, that just gave me a super idea. Need to bust that one out n upload the various segments to the loops area here (since there're about 12 or so incomplete tracks on it).

So I take it Bart wasn't having that much fun in this one? You did a splendid job of capturing a Circusy feel to this. Salut!

on Give Me A Shot of Absynth on Alpha Centuri II by DougieDJ
Phew man, I thought for a sec I had reviewed all of your tracks once already. Anywho, I guess that would be a request from me for ya to post some freshness mate, pretty please!?

As for the track, it's comin off real funky... And did it, did it just end? (hold one lemme replay)... The drums are wicked and I like the car alarm soundin mid-synth ya used it this. The rest of it is just nuts man! I'm gonna sav/fav. Thanks bud!

on No return by Rorshach2021
This wall of flashing lights that serves to mezmerize. Reflecting the millions of Flashbulb bursts within my eyes.

You know that frosty gaze people get whenever they're zonin out, but having something that keeps momentarily bringin 'em back through minute distractions? I see that here. Somewhere, someone is at the fringe of loosin themselves.

The pads are killer. And sound a bit like somethin off of an older action-adventure game. Like Xyxez or something. Lates!

The Pianos do come out soundin uber old-skool. Interesting mix of house. Kind of a blend of NYC, Euro, and something else. Kudos holmes!

I'm diggin what I've heard so far, but for some reason or another the Bass on this sounds super familiar (again, can't place where I've heard it before though). The fade out ya got at the mid 1 minute mark is great. Blast on mate!

Always amazes me. You've got real talent brah! This is blended together so smoothly it's re-dic-er-us (ridiculous). The only thing I'm left thinkin is- Could you maybe make this longer mate? Solid sweetness!

Just maybe you and AnonImous could do a collab or you could shoot this over to him to see if he'd remix this (coz wouldn't that be sweet- Splish- Anonymous (AnonImous's ___ ____ remix?).

I'm gonna sav/fav this one fo sho! Haha, now this tracks abstract quality is speakin to me. Kinda like Knight Rider cruizes with Black Moon Rising (if you've happened to see that movie). I really like the vibes used. Slap hands!

Haha, alright, that was a horrible attempt at texting the way 1930/40 cartoon villians sounded. It just felt appropraite, see. Haha. Anyways, I'm diggin on this and mass kudos go to all the members who made the loops for this. Chiller!

on (20) to catch a pickle by johnnygadget
Aw man, well if he's a pickle then it would only be fitting if he had a Hot Dog side kick (now who's got sum Mustard, haha)

This is crazy man, I'm def gonna sav/fav. I might even try to throw sum vocals on it, but I doubt I'll be able to suceed with it. Sadly, my skills are somewhat subpar too. Good gravy mate, I think we've got some Kibbles'n'bits!

Satriani off of his Engines of Creation album (2000) mixed with Ra's From One (2003, I think) album.

I'm really diggin this mate! Question- do you have an album of just tracks like (progressive, all instrumental rock) this for sale? I would def snag it if so. And I'm def gonna sav/fav this (may even use it on the show, if it's alright with you). Thanks for sharing brah!

on intervention (spoken word) by johnnygadget
Here in town where there's this girl that looks like she's about to pop a pill (that looks more like a Peppermint Tic-Tac) and it reads something like- "Addicted? We can help!" with part of the text upside down.

Interesting point made mate! It's a sad truth our world is facing, but unfortunately it seems that money is a more powerful motivating force then honor or righteousness. Thanks for adding to this J I think I'll snag it (may even use it later on the show). Later on!

on High Octane Fun(k) at the pumps by johnnygadget
I swear to gaaw, that the clerk said I could do this. & besides, smokin next to the pumps aint dangerous because the liquid aint flammable, it's just the fumes (sniiiiiiiiff, sniff, haha). Wait? I guess that would make me a dummy, jumpin up in pumps/wherein a mindfield that isn't completely empty? BOOM!

Sorry, threw out an exerpt of my Acapella 'Fingerpaintin Smiles'. Anyways, this was yet another sweet chune my friend. The vocals were super sweet and if it were me I'd charge about $4.50 a (Liter/Gallon). Later on!

on cleavland steamer by johnnygadget
Kinda dirty (like it would be one of the moves mentioned in the 2nd Deuce Bigalow movie). Hahaha, sorry man. It's the first thing that popped into my twisted head and I hadta get it out.

This track is comin off as dirty as well, but not in the above sorta way. It's more dark & gritty! In fact, another thought just occured to me and I think it might just create something beautiful.
For some odd reason I could see this being a collab with our buddy, MokeOne. I could really see him doin somethin crazy with this. So there's my first collab request. Sweet descrip BTW!

P.S. I can think of something with a little more substance to broadcast though but if you like it then it's ok with me..........Johnny G.

on black tiger by Helven (Feat.Johnny Gadget Vox) by johnnygadget
Your vox remind me of a mix between Roy Orbison, Elvis, Jonny Cash, & this other guy who I can't remember his name (the show Nip/Tuck does a commercial with the song though if that helps). And you even begin to get a lil like the artist Tricky near the end. Style-wise it's an odd mix of melancholy Bluesy with a little bit of Goth and Rock mixed in.

I suppose it's because the song echoes the same. Kinda like NIN mixed with The Cure meets The Corrs (?). Cool stuff indeed!

on the begining of the end by mouko
Umm, I wrote that because whenever I play a thumpin track my subwoofer's porthole moves my soda can whenever it's nearly empty (prolly a bad place to put the soda, but eh, it's cool to look at though).

I'm in envy of your talents here! Traditional drum&bass is something I've never really been able to do. You, my friend are in a league all of your own. Salut!

on keyboard cowboy by ILLUM
Anywho, so I'm listening to this a second time and something that popped into my head was this album I've got by the DJ's- Force & Styles (Artist name on the album). It's entitled- Heart of Gold. I dunno if you've ever heard it, but if you like hard style beats then you'd love their stuff.

Though this has other elements in it that makes it seem more (I call it liquid, but most classify it as Rave, as you did). The kind that's perfect to twirl light rods or poi balls around to. And the synth is almost borderline Goa-Psy Trance. Nicely done, mate, nicely done! (might even use it on an upcoming radio show if that's ok with you)

on Can I Touch It by Looperman
Jersey Mike's sammich. As if she was trying to vocalize- 'Melty cheese', haha, sorry!

The keys are speakin to me. Namely the E. Piano's (if I got 'em right). Were they done via loops off of a program or off of a keyboard?

This track is like a mix between DJ Sammy Vs Lords of Acid tag teamin Enigma and Lo-Fidelity Allstars. Top notch stuff mate!
