hey thanks a lot man :D I tried to emulate a lot of the common techniques and sounds found in some hardcore tracks, and added in my own feel into the mix. For instance there are not as many hardcore tracks with the eastern feel that i added into the beginning. Its got some good mixing and automation applied.
And what do you mean by labels? I dont suppose you mean like RECORD LABELS?? wow the thought is crazy. I mean this is only my like fifth techno track all up, and i mean im only 17. Do you really think it would be a realistic option? if i could pump out tracks regularly liks this, perhaps it is? Well im not sure about how ANY of that kind thing works really. Reply in review?
Yeah yeah yeah! I loved this thru and thru. This feels real fresh, even over and beyond Portishead, much clubier. I could dance to this track. The guitar is real well done in here, just rolls right along super smooth.
Way to go homie! Nice ripper... And you'r right bout it all, you pushed my ears all the way out to the limits. beautiful melody, driven at around 250 mph on the autobahn! Feels sweet! Like the build ups through out and the the overall syncopation.
Like a fwe others I'd check some levels here and there, not sure if it's the bass distortion clipping, prolly not the kick, but something is cancelling out in there. Pretty damn cool though man.
Nice bro! I liked this. WSome good good lyrical work init. You ever hear Morgan Heritage's version of Psalms 23? I highly recommend you listen to that track. It's so righteous. I think you'd enjoy a listen to that one. Lemme know if you wanna hear it and I can send it on to you bruv.
Super f'n good again!!!!!!!!!! You blew my mind here a lil bit bro. I was not expecting this AT ALL. This track has such a good groove to it. Very nicely mixed. Love the clean and compressed drums, just sounds super clean in this track.
Panning effects are really well used in here. Vocals sound just in there, like the song and vocals were made for each other.
Pretty snazzyusage man. I'm liking the distorted bassline. Kinda simple and kind punky/dark.
This track could def go into extended mix mode. Kinda feels like it just got started when it ended. I was wanting to hear you drop in some crashing big beat rhythm over top all that to give it sort of a dirty house feel.
Again, bro this is plain good! It's gon be a dubstep mix in a minute if you allow Jah to download or re mix this one too! You got the basis, needs the bassline, horn riff and a skanking key/guitar part!
Aight mek. let's play mix time. These bass kicks need some eqing. It's killing the mix. Try bringing them back so they aren't in the red. Give the clap some reverb and put an auto pan on the hi hat sound.
I guess what I'm saying is Jah thinks this beat is DOPE! I would love to help you mix this shit up ruff and tuff now. You go a good vocal sample init BUT them synth samples rolling through need edited! There is some sorta lofi interference happening on the in/out points making them sound kinda wanky?
here's my deal, you want to send me up some of this track, you'll get on badass mix of the beat and a reworking of the synth sounds, I can keep them vocals cause thats tite! Keep it coming man!
Jah KNows bout the calendar. The end of the great cycle ends on my bithday 2012 (according to the Mayans) If you look deeply into the numeric systems of the calendar and how they have foretold our evolution for 1000's of years, it's rather easy to understand that our planet is at critical mass. She can't put up with much more.
I think what we ought do is just realize that the new cycle is beginning, whatever that means...
Yes, Jah, shure, The ideia was to focus the drum, one of the most beautiful masterpieces of Stewart Copeland, the 12 tracks I used only 8 had to be a dub version, but then I decided to leave it as is.
Glad Massive has worked out for you. It 's playing kinda weird through the old phones tho. Not sure if those saw basslines are tweaking up the output or not, but that's the only thing I've noticed.
I thought you would like it, you kind of inspired me to make more “4 more in the works†“1 more for a contestâ€Â, I’m still trying to find my real Genre, but I like all kinds of music!
I think he kinda covers it on my front as well. The bassline is aight, but with some key tweaking it could rip your gonads off.
I'd say maybe play with the key change, see if maybe dropping those notes down instead of stepping up might danken it up a lil.
Check the production tips I've posted on wobbles and sub bass mastering, I think if you tripled up the bassline, eq'd each one seperately to pull out the right freqs, you might find it'd hit a lil harder too.
Mon I mon InI know the horns too. I grew up playing alto and tenor sax. In HS learned the brass section from Tuba all the way down to french horn. When I discovered ska and reggae in college and saw bands like The Skatalites and Burning Spear with their unbelievable horn sections..... well I'm jahknow now. :)
