Hey Randy, outstanding work here. Your guitar work is one part Ed King, one part Billy Gibbons, melded together to form one big part of Randall, haha.

This kicks some serious azz from start to finish. Really, really well done and it's easy to hear/see how much work has gone into this one.

You just keep getting better with age, like fine whiskey :) I hope life has settled down for you a bit.

Hi ya Barry,

Been a long time since I have seen your name. I remember you left Lafango a long time ago. It was a decent place and we all got lots of hits, but they kept making too many changes, and had problems with uploads, etc. I am still on there, but just to post songs there.

I thank you for your nice comments. I haven't heard of Ed King or Billy Gibbons before. I haven't listened to that much music really in quite awhile. But they must be good artist then. I'll look them up and give them each a listen.

I am doing OK here...as I mentioned in my note to Dave below, I got bored with retirement and went back to work part time. Music will be in my life until I can't physically play any more. Then I suppose I will have a big guitar sale. ha ha

Again, nice to hear from you, and I will give a listen to see what you have up on your page.

Joseph, this is fantastic!!!!

The whole song from start to finish is just flawless. It takes me back to the times of arena rock when they had those great big rock ballads.....

My God man, this is fantastic. A tip of the hat to all involved on a job really, really well done.

Definitely added to favorites.

BRAVO

Now this one would be fun to crank up in my car, hahaha. I think I could almost blow the windows out.....at least crack a few of them.

You are one highly skilled beatmaker bro. Awesomeness right here. I would love to hear this one with a great rapper laying a few verses on it.

BADAZZ bro. Hope all is well and I hope this is a great holiday season for you and your family. Take care.

on Funk Feeling by midiman007
I spent some time cruising some of the great blues clubs in the southern US, and this tune takes me back to those days. I would sit, have a beer or three and just listen to the great music.

OUTSTANDING guitar work and a really nice arrangement with Patricia's vocals.

Nothing better than the blues! And this tune shows exactly why. Put a huge smile on my face. Thanks for bringing back some great memories.

I have to agree with Centrist, your range is spectacular, such great control and pitch.

Young lady, you are simply one of the best vocalists on Looperman.com. Your vocal acrobatics always leave me in total amazement.

Your music has the ability to transcend language and culture.

Absolutely flawless in every way.

Oh here's the softest of all Teddies ! ;)

You make me shy Bear, don't say such kind things ..
The lyrical voice should have been worked on better but I haven't got the right technical stuff :(

Every song I make is a way to clean up my heart and exorcise all the pain inside . I'm singing for everyone who's got a few minutes to waste and my voice is only a filter for what overwhelms my heart when I think of this guy in particular ...
He's my soul and spirit, I'm his voice only .

You don't know how much you moved me with your words about transcending language ... ! Love does it and is the air I breathe . I'm very deeply touched .

Sorry for the blabla,
Merci de tout mon coeur, Bear,
Bises

on Sentenced2Funk by DocDaFunk
Very nice start Doc. It has that Earth, Wind and Fire feel to it. All it needs is some vocals over the top of it and I think you have a hit on your hands.

I thought Joe and Fila were about the only two on here who produced great funk, but it is obvious you are right up there with the best of them.

Awesome job.

This one is stellar Jamie.....like having Oscar Peterson and George Benson in the same studio and maybe Freddy Gruber on percussion, and Dave Holland on bass :) This song is that good!!!!

I absolutely loved it. A tip of the hat to two of Looperman's finest.

on DONT NEED YOU FT STEPHANIE KAY by Timmons2
Man, you just keep cranking out the hits. I think you can produce great music no matter what the genre, but alt rock seems to be an arena that you really take things to a whole new level.

This one could easily be playing on the radio today all over the world. It's current sounding, relevant and exactly what the doctor ordered.

Take a bow my friend. Like John said this one is a ten out of ten. Loved that guitar solo :) Well done brother. I hope all is well.

Hey Marko,

Outstanding job on this one. Your dynamics are really special, and they add so much to the overall feeling of this piece. There is a lot going on here, yet you managed to place everything perfectly in the mix. It all works so well.

I love cinematic music and this piece is a great illustration of why I love it so much. This one is ready for film my friend.

Beautiful work.

on Victory by DrvanLansberg
Doc, this is really, really well done. If this is your first foray into down-tempo, and the result is this good, perhaps you should consider doing more :)

There is nothing to critique here, simply an amazing soundscape that blends the wonderful sax of Slap Johnson and the spoken words of Obama, with these wonderful synth sounds you created. Flawless!!

A big 10 out of 10 on this one. Beautiful work.

Hi Bear,

Many, many thanks for your beautiful comments. I am not sure however if I will be doning more stuff on 88 bpm :-).

You know, sometimes everything just falls in the right place. That's at least what I experienced producing this track. And of course with help of Slap, Obama and the synths :-).

I will print your comment and hang it over my bed!

Great start to what could be a fantastic song. It needs a bridge to break up the repetitive nature of things....or maybe a chord change on the final chorus. Anyway, your vocal work is stellar as usual. I look forward to the final product.

Thank you very much. I appreciate your comments as you seem to be very active here on looperman and you know a lot of all these people here !?
Well, I was really amazed of SlapJohnson as he remembers me of the early works of Jan Garbarek, which is one of my favourite musicians on this planet!
And beside that it was a sudden fortune, that all the mixed loops in this track do not only fit musically but also in content. "Many voices for the joy in the world !"

Oh man, this is so nice. The sax is just sensational, the piano work is off the charts good, and the guitar is the topping on this jazz sundae. I am assuming that is you on guitar, and if so, absolutely stellar work.

This is music....just that simple, great music.

Sometimes less is more and in this case, that is the truth. All you need is your wonderful piano and Romy's vocals. I love the intimate feel on this one. It's like I was in the studio watching you two record it live.

I came searching for another great travel tune to add to my collection and I've found it - EUREKA!!! This is just about as tasty as they get, superb bass, crisp percussion and Steve on the sax. God man, this is fabulous. I'm burning the mp3 to disc as we speak and then running out to the car to put it in the player, hahaha.

WOW!!! This is absolutely spectacular....

Why are you not famous? You have such a current sound...I seriously think your music could easily be playing on radio stations anywhere in this world.

Your control is amazing, and you have an almost uncanny "feel" for what is needed, and when it is needed in a song (I hope that makes sense - your timing, dynamics, inflection, all of the great things great singers do).

It was really fun to hear your original song. I did take off in a whole different direction with your pella, didn't I, hahaha.

Thanks for your kind words. I am humbled by your praise and in awe of your talents. Thanks for sharing them with all of us here on Looperman.
