on Random Thought by DrawMatix44
This is clear electro, but I suppose it could go in hip hop as well...I like it, I'd love to hear more for this track;
You could maybe rap a slowish rap on this track...
It reminds me of a black eyed peas track...there's potential:
I love your ending....
It needs to be a bit longer though;

Nice stuff for a first track. My first one was a total disaster... and yes I'd love to add some vocals, the problem is I'm awful at writing lyrics...

Thanks for review! I am not a lyrics writer and I can't help you but I'd like to hear you on it.
I am sure that will be cool.

on Subsonic Malfunction- Dubstep by FatalMynd
I'll download it and think about it...though it might be a bit too raw to add vocals to...at the moment it sounds a bit metal, I might do one verse if I get time...though it's doing well I like the loop that starts at 1:30 If that could be used as a verse loop and maybe use the main melody before that as a chorus instrumental I might be able to rap on the verses....( just an idea )...
FatalMynd
FatalMynd replied Unknown
the main dubstep line wouldnt be rapped over itd be the hook, but the one straight wobble verse and then that 1:30 beat would be when someone would come in, if it works out let me know!

on Synthetic Expressions by The_Acidizer
There's a raw sound behind this, it's a slight bit anthem like and some of it makes me think about a soildier march. Also a bit metal linked. I love your stop/start synth, the ending could maybe be prolonged a bit or made to fade out though..

on Pipe Dream - DJJPA by DJJPA
The kind of pipe idea makes it kind of ambient. Strange idea for an electronic track.

Yeah I have a hard time pigeon-holing my work into any genres. Most of the time I don't know where it fits until someone tells me. Thanks for the listen.

on A Better Place A Better Time UNFINISHED by Hoptix
Me as well I'd love to put some vocals in but I've got loads of other projects in mind; this track is very different from the other hip-hop tracks I hear on this site. It's kind of jazzy, cinematic and hip-hop all at the same time. Some nice percussion in. There's only one little thing: the ending piano note finishes a bit too soon. Make it last longer and fade out so the songs story stays in the listeners head.
Whatever this track is nicely done and not much improvement's needed for this to be agreat song.
Hoptix

I agree man. I was just so focused on showing everyone what I had done in the past few days I forgot about the ending melody. Anywho, I'm revising it as we speak and I feel like everyone will enjoy the revised version a little bit more. Thanks for your input man.

Is it my imagine or is there crakling sounds in the back. At first I found the stop/star piano weird but listening I got used to it.

on still standing by pintiman
There's a sad piano feel to this, who did you collab with this for? Maybe the beat needs changing, the synth certainly does; I mean it fits perfectly but it's almost too happy for this theme. And the song is still a bit short but don't give up, it's on the right track and it's much better than the stuff I make!!!

on East Coast Leanin Freestyle by DaddyChillz
An original kind of rap, and a great beat. Yeah, if this is just a demo I'll be interesting to hear the final. Why did you scream at the end, it was weird?

I didn't know you could make music on an ipod...and I didn't know you could make songs this well with it. Where did you find this studio? Me as well I say this isn't a first attempt, nice stuff.

killer1571 replied Unknown
I used nanostudio on the ipod, there is a free full version of nanostudio for the pc and mac but the advantages with the ipod is multi touch so you can press two keys at once,

Have a look http://www.blipinteractive.co.uk/download.php

on Breathe in the Demons by FineRedMist
Me as well I'm not sure, I'd maybe have put it under ambient because of the dark magic scary feeling it brings to the listener, but then I'm not sure if it's abstract enough. Maybe with a few changes it could go under rock. Love your drums and that's what made me think about rock. Maybe metal.
There's some interesting background noises which make it sound like there's a crowd behind. In fact it's almost like you could lost in this. A realy scary track.

on Just me by Surfstyle
Nice thing a hip-hop kind of track based on a soaring rock melody. Me as well I've made a few rap tracks based on rap melodies. Certainly a great melody and a great acapella which perfectly fits with the guitar. Maybe a bit short but nonetheless well done.

on Ping Heng Tai (Equalibrium Instrumental) by GrimalBeatz
One thing that's interesting about your tracks is the different sorts of culture involved. This track perfectly illustrates the chinese culture under a hip-hop form; this stuff might also have been put under traditional.
Nice chopsticks!!!
GrimalBeatz
GrimalBeatz replied Unknown
Thanks James. I see what you mean about traditional. Your are quite right there are different cultural themes in a lot of my tracks. Thanks for the review. Will be sure to review some more of your tracks also.

on Kombat Riddim by GrimalBeatz
Some of this stuff sounds like a great theme for a catch ring. The electric guitar on the chorus sounds quite agressive. Nice stuff. This track might have also been able to be put under metal, it's slightly got that dark sort of feeling. I certainly agree with your title.

on As Time Goes By(Remix) by LeadByExample
Great kicking bass, nice listening to. I did find there wasn't much beat but the synth that was very imposing almost erased that effect.
If anything it's a bit short but I suppose if it's just a little remix that doesn't matter much.

Nice stuff. A bit dance/hip-hop like. Can't wait for the vocal version. This is the second grime track I've listened to. Grime seems a bit like hip-hop.

Reminded me of pirates of the caribean a lot. The whole is very well done and your synth is super. Maybe it's missing a bit of beat but not much else. I'd maybe have chosen a dfferent name but that ain't my choice. Your right though; it's a great track. I've faved.
