like the beat (even though it wasn't great quality) dark & melancholic, I like the end of verses: the short chorus type break with the woman singing. It gives it an oriental atmosphere... & got an interesting flow; about the lyrics can't tell: what language is it?
Nothing to say really - it all fits well together & gives the exact atmosphere of standing up for what you believe! In particular with the distorted guitar (dunno why that's my fav loop of the song) bit repetitive though. The only thing it needs is a good a capella. good luck...
I like the varied selection of instruments on this one - gives a lot of atmosphere. I found the flute part rather odd but I liked it. It kind of told a story of it's own, it was like words. much respect & good luck...
There's interesting percussion in the rythmn; and the piano gives the track an interesting touch, I find that the beat on the hook gives a sort of feeling of hope to the song,
I found that the synth on the bridge at 2:13 was an interesting choice... I'm definately feeling this,
Enjoyed the christmas feeling on this track, makes me think of " twinkle, twinkle little star "... it's true that it evolves very slowly, makes me think of track by deadmau5 or something slow like that, I like the effect at 2:08, makes me think of a spacecraft taking off or coming in,
the beat itself actually coming in at 2:45 I quite like because it makes me think of spaceship going through space with meteorites, comets, stars & planets rolling by,
the background effects at around 3:08 are good because they give the song a great atmosphere,
It's true though that the snare at 3:22 could be a bit more punchy, the first time I listened I didn't notice it for about 5 seconds.
The piano at 4:36 works well for bring the song to an end or the spaceship to landing even though at 4:44 the beat kind of drops out a bit too soon, but then that's only my opinion.
just after the beat drops out I noticed some interesting background effects that could maybe be little aliens welcoming the rocket home...
I think this track could also be called " A ride in space " because the track starts slow then builds to a takeoff and then finally the beat drops out at 4:44 bringing the track back to landing - the end of the ride...
Nice listen... Had a good intro to it, intoducing the song with what could be a growing police alarm & the bass introduced the action,
the actual beat that comes in at 0:11 gives a slight old school touch to the track which I really like; inparticular the part at 0:54 where you've included the scratch.
I enjoyed the variety of sounds on this track which addded to the atmosphere at different parts; the siren at 1:18 helped build up the tension to the synth at 1:20;
I thought the bass at 1:53 gave a very unexpected turn to the song and was an interesting way to end it...
Got a nostalgic, melancholic feeling to it... I really like, it's like listening to a dream almost. My fav bit is the wind instrument, I know it's kind of quiet on the track but I really like; gives the track a sort of landscape I feel & the vocals are simply beautiful on this...
This is probably one of my fav tracks on this site, simply awesome,
When was putting the track together I also thought it had a bit of an old feel to it, which is why I had the idea of putting the old vinyl record crackle over it.
There are quite a few sounds and instruments on here that I have pushed back in the mix almost to the point where you can't hear them. But when I then mute those parts individually, the song seems to lose something.
my cat was next to me listening to this, definately feeling the groove, both of us; I like how you mix jazz and electro in a same song... very interesting end how you made it end by slowing down; don't know if you noticed it while making it but 1:44, when it started slowing, a fuzzy sound started appearing.
Hey there I understand the french; it's interesting hearing this; got an amazing guitar intro to it, when the beat comes in it's very captivating... I don't know what style I'd have put in; it's kind of R n' B,
Neat mix, I really like; it was good at 0:17 when the beat dropped out all of a sudden... then the synth that came in at 1:05 wasn't very loud but gave the track a lot of atmosphere; great voice in the song; sounds awesome the bit at 2:36 with just the pads and synth, probably my fav part of the song...
great chill sort of feeling to it, really enjoyed listening.
This track is definately something, It makes me think of some sort of machine at work grinding along... I can hear interesting bits of percussion, something sounding a bit like a whip, another like a lot of empty cans falling down;
At about 1:23 though, something sounding like a flying saucer comes in giving the track a slightly supernatural side;
At 3:09 another synth comes in ending the track by fading out, being the most intense part of the track and leaving the listener in a sort of suspense...
Feeling this dope since the very start of the track, rap's got good flow to it & has been placed very well on the track; Is there going to be a longer version to this?
Good rap philosophy and flow to this freestyle, really enjoyed listening; it's a great track because it talks about everything rap's about in one song, with sweet slightly melancholic singing on the chorus...
Good bounce to the beat, It's an interesting techno song cos as well as having a dance sort of synth there's a bit which sounds a bit like a harmonica; I feel it almost sort of changes atmosphere in the song because parts sound a bit melancholic like whereas others more hardcore; good track for a first try, better than my first one...
Fairly dark rap tune; with some interesting percussion, you've managed to mix the loops quite well together apart from one bit where the background vocals say something like " black " and the loops seem to flow together a bit too fast; though I don't know if it's supposed to be like that, but I think it gives it a bit of a style of it's own;
Thanks for the comment James.. The vocal does say black followed by a fast scratch, I thought long and hard about removing it but the more I heard it I kinda liked it.. LOL
I like the way the track slowly fades in, really gives a good image; The bass in particular gives it a lot of setting, the guitar gives an image of waves falling gently on to the shore and the wind instrument pictures the stars and the different stories they tell, as for the vocals they give the atmosphere / the wheather the slight breeze in the air... Very inspiring which gives just the right image;
Dark sort of dubstep track; I would imagine as a soundtrack for a film, a horror movie... makes me think of a scene in a cave going deeper and deeper down, this track had some nice bass growls in it too; just a little question, I've had trouble trying to make dubstep bass do you have any hints???
Thanks for the comment, as for the bass i couldnt find any other comparable vst to Massive when it comes to basslines, or just cutting them yourself from tracks, TranceDrive is free and really adjustable too though
This reminds me of sumthing by Kanye West, I really enjoyed and I agree the vocals seem to fit with the music perfectly;
