The piece around 0.50 is beautiful, whole track is nice. I very much like the ambiance in here, the guitar sounds a lil too monotone for me, I'd give it a slight pitch here and there, but depends what you like. Great how you done the synths, can't figure out is that a live instrument or clever bar placement.
heya, so many good works around here that i got tired of my own words like nice, great, profound and super, yet I felt like this one deserves one more go where they all fit.
real cool how you implemented those vocals. They bring over the message and the ambiance is fitting. Energetic, no tips i can provide here, this is beyond my capabilities at this point. Going to hear it again and get inspired instead.
sounds great to me, a bit too gritty, but for a mash up it sounds good, this can work out into something real fine! it's cool how there's sincere rawness in here, pure metal without too much on/at it. so as for me-good, not bad, but of course with things to improve. I like the build up, it could be better complimented with a few melodic flow overs in my opinion anyway. Only dabbled a slight bit in (making) metal so can't give any constructive thoughts about this so far, but sounds like a great start, I'm gonna grab it and listen some more when I need a break from this semi classical work I'm now into, god, it can piss me off at times, this is soothing compared to that. Definitely wanna see the original! keep this one in progress,
neon
thanks for your time to listen and review, and i was thinking that myself with the melodic flow over. but im kinda torn between some different thoughts that almost completely change the mood. thanks again
Liking it, raw, great drums and effects. Not too fond of the grittiness in here though. Love how it's built up. I'd change a few minor things about the bass, but that's probably taste, it all sounds fine. Sounds like something made with live inputs, that true? Very curious to hear some more work, perhaps something meant for a different public too, cool if you got samples to share, I'm working on me own electronic instruments right now, better get back to it, peace out.
-juicy.
to the ones who made this:beautiful track, i wish we had more music with similar ambiance, relaxing yet interesting to listen, real cool how you done the outro and the effects next to everything else, very pleasing. The guitars sound very fitting and in place, good job.
sick, i love it, don't even got any criticism to add. Love how that bass indulges itself through the depth of the drums, cool flow and indeed energetic. You description fits perfectly. When the melodic layer comes in around 1.40, followed by subtle bass accents, it gets super! and from there it's pure trance indeed, real fine work, a fave of mine. Also this track doesn't get any boring anywhere along it's duration, very nice build up, cool hats around 4.35, from there on the flow just totally caught me moving to it and at 5.41 it's super how the extensions do their work.
Hey Man! Thanks for checking out another of my tracks! Thanks for the very cool review :)
I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it a lot and could get you want to move :) It is a fave of mine as well and I put a lot of feeling into this one as it was one magical summer :)
Glad my description worked with how the track sounds also! Have a nice day man!
whoa i like the depths of the whole thing. the rhythm sounds unusual but catchy, somehow a tiny bit disturbing with them accents here and there. It's cool how there's a wall of atmos to it, but this track doesn't captivate me until around 3.20-3.30, there the rhythmic section distracts me while the ambiance does it's job, and well. With a great job on it's quality and massiveness I wish for more dynamics in this, but that's personal taste. Also it sounds good when the wall sort of drops off near the very end, would be cool if that happened once or twice during the rest of the track, it could make room for some excitement. Gonna check out some more of your work now, good job on the mood in here, to keep happiness spread and equaled. After listening to this my mind constructs fitting synth play which might've been there, like a ghost effect, nice artwork by itself this is.
Hey thanks man! :) Glad you enjoyed what I created and could get the feeling I was trying to create for this track! Yes Venice was an extraordinary and mystifying place and that is why I have put all these elements in the track. Thanks for your ideas they are very useful and I will take them under consideration ;)
I'm glad I could intrigue you with this track and capture your attention. Thanks again! Have a nice day!
Sounds awesome, the part in between the bass around 0.45 reminds me of limp bizkit a bit. I like the second part better than the start, it's great when the octave synth comes in, and followed by chopped bass its a killer! Well, real pleasant to listen to, don't know about which notes you had in mind, but as for tips I'd bass up the bass, maybe add a deep bass layer to it which could also help overflow into the melody. Really like it so far, very curious if you're going to continue on it, if not it sounds fine enough. kinda grows on me. Also i find this more dub step than electronic but you're the author to decide that :p
nice relaxing track, it's moving but sounds a bit like a background of something on TV at the very start, which ain't bad. Then the voice kicks in it gets nice & pumping. Cool how the building up synths add to the vibe. One thing is for sure, this track has indeed movement in it. Also rly fond of those claps, not too shabby! good sound on the instruments.
Pleasant track, easy to listen and i love the subtle accents. vibe enlisted and constructive, very nice work. I absolutely love how you did the synth and the tiny screeches. Very cool! I wish i could download it to listen when I walk the streets.
super vibe, nicely chilled out bounce too. Reel pleasant - ye, nice how the vocal fits in it. Not my type of music to listen to but i can totally appreciate this one.
Xtaticauk said it all, also I worked with FLS very little, but I suggest a bit of compression on the bass and the drums to give it more depth, just don't loose the energetic feel you add to all your tracks -that's really a strong aspect.
It sounds very massive. I like the melody and the alive vibe a lot, it's pumping with energy. Good job with this one,-perfect accents.
Though I personally like a certain grade of massive to music, it can be reduced by compressing and especially merging the channels a bit, for example you can use the spider audio merger/splitter in reason to make the kicks sound even better and add extra layers to your synths. Hope that helps, great track overall, you got my vote for presidency..
This track is really interesting ( I wish it was longer, my ears beg for more and hands continue to click the play button over and over again).
I'm gonna check out some more of your work, perhaps we can aid each other with some feedback, since this track's style reminds me of my own work a bit. good work and peace out,
juicy berry.
Yes totally I will look at ur tracks when I get the chance ( I'm on my iPod) this song was actually the feature of my album I'm coming out w and yes I do understand what u meant by massive and the channels have to kinda share space but idk what to do about it cuz I need everything I put in there so please hit me back soon
another signature track by you, happy as hell, it makes me smile. I love it, seems like something I'd wanna have playing in the background on a small chug party while we all get hammered :) great stuff, just great :D it also has suspense to it, even though it's happy and that's a big plus.
Yes you're right, this has become a signature style from me! Glad I could make you smile with it! Feel free to get hammered to this song, I like to help people have a good time! Happy and suspenseful, yep I think you're right! Glad you enjoyed this one! Thanks for taking the time to review!
I really like how unusual it sounds, like the effects a lot. But not too fond of the short vocal piece at the start, sometimes it seems as if the vocal is a bit out of tune there (just a small part), I'd also add a few low volume extensions (maybe delay) to some vocal parts to add to the flow and give it more meat, not necessarily more volume . overall love the vibe, the grittiness here sounds good and clean. Maybe another quiet background layer at the start would make the vocal sound less close up. I like how sharp the synths abide in here and the subtle accents in the back sound great. The more times I hear it, the more it grows on me. Love it by now, just still something bugs me about the vocal, perhaps it's just the flare, or perhaps a more dynamic- a more at ease vocal intro part would be something to try. great track, sounds distinctive, the vocals are the strongest and the weakest aspect here in my opinion. I hope this helps, if I come up with anything more, I'll return. Also to me it seems like the high tones, where the vocal fades into, could be slightly less ringing at times, but it sounds fine - not alarming, doesn't affect the track in any bad ways.
Wow, well said. Definitely want to redo this track kind of make it pop. This will give me a chance to really focus on those vocals and flare this up. Thank you for the listen!
Heya guys, I love this one, saw your name of broken scythe and Ive been on to lucky's pellas for a few days now, and this one has all the feel to it i expected and wanted. cheers, im glad its out here. Very curious which way it will improve if you continue! as for a few tips i thought could be useful: the city street effect, or something which gives me that feel through reverb, its totally awesome, only I wish the voice would come out clearer/louder. Also around 3.05 it becomes a bit floaty, its not bad in general but I would love to have something vivid breaking through it at some point, sort of a flashback into the common kinda thing. What happens at 4.10, but more breaking and slashing. I hope this vague impressionistic feedback helps a tiny bit, this is good cause. thnx for sharing
after song is finished, i can't playback the melody in my mind clearly anymore. I say if the melody would stand out a bit more and the bass would be tiny bit thinner, it would make the whole track lighter and exposed, but the bass is a beauty too, so it shouldn't get compressed away or sumthin either.
Lol wow, thanks Neon. i didnt know I had a small rep lol. Yeah I think the reverb fits well. Im actually implementing your advice, the vox is going up, Im going to try and rework the break, thin the bass just a tad and raise the main guitar melody. Ill let you know when im done! thanks for the great rev! im hitting one of your tracks in a sec!
Peace to you.
awesome, tight, profound, direct, progressive. All comes up when I hear these beats. You nailed this one straight into my head, and I thank you for that.
Hi :), just been dabbling in trance a bit myself. I really enjoy the atmosphere in here, it's lovely. Also I like how it's broken down in terms of dynamics. As for improvements I'd suggest extending some notes a bit more -that towards the middle and ending. The bass punches at the start sound a bit off tone, contrary to the coming down part in the very end-that's splendid, it could make a nice intro too, if in reverse and with a few minor alterations, perhaps those notes as accents. Maybe it's a worthy idea to not start with the drums immediately, that could also help the bass to sound more in tune, but, I love how it flows during the track, so it would have to come back to it's original tone during the intro, cause it sounds great. It's a very peaceful and energetic track, filled with prettiness. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to, who knows, more trance. Intriguing upload.
Hey, thank you for your thorough review! I'm glad you could enjoy the track even with it's faults, I'm no expert in trance! I don't think I'll be going back to this one to redo anything, but I'll keep your suggestions in mind for future tracks! Thanks for your support!
I've been on to that vocal for a while now, got a few funky mash ups, awesome to see someone else' fresh version of it. It sounds very pretty & somehow soothing to me, though also way different from what I've been working on-there goes my radar. Love the basic bass and the bubble harp sounds good here, although just as a tip for future things where you'd work with reason, I'd say it could use a tiny bit of editing in my opinion, just to deviate from an implement into originality and fit the totality slightly more. nice subtlety to it, really appreciate this one.
You have a point. I really could work on editing. I was somewhat overwhelmed with all the expansiveness to this program. Thank you for the pointers, and I'll see what I can do for my next track! ;)
Nice to be hearing this, it reminds me a bit of mr oizo, but with a beach house feel to it. Probably it's a taste thing but I'd cut back on the grittiness just a bit or pull up the volume of the background layers. Sounds great overall, a tiny bit sad, it has the needed twitch of desperation to it.
