Not really into smoke tunes nowadays though used to get down to some Cypress Hill in the 90s :) Anyway love the beat and melody this has a good sound. - DF

So much going on and yet you manage to splice it all together quite nicely. Love the effects and vocal bits, the beats are all good especially the opening and end drum line and the back and forth with house vibe works for me. Good job with the scratching, and like how you "bring the beat back". Fav'ed this, would have DL'ed. - DF
appreciate the kind words :) this is a very different track for me than what im used to so im glad you like it :) i can send you a copy if you want no problem. thanks for review and fav :)
Excellent production, the structure is spot on, the mixing is complete, great use of instruments and pads, vocals are perfect. Very impressed, this is a stand out for sure. - DF
J'apprecie bien la technique employee pour soutenir les paroles, la guitare et le violon ont ete bien choisis et j'admire la progression d'instruments. Le seul truc est hors de ton controle... que la voix est parfois un peut... bizarre... donnant un drole d'effet. A+ - Jerome
I like how the clip becomes the down beat setting up the track, though I was unsure how long I wanted to wait to get to the music. I suggest turning up the master volume a bit and also the clip as it seemed conspicuously low. Interesting piece, nice creativity. - DF
Groovy, catchy, top notch production, nice work mate, may want to take another look at the scratching portion and polish it up before the vocals drop back in as it seemed to be missing a layer of surprise or something, don't mean to be negative though this entire track is particularly good. Cheers - DF
I lost all my work files and masters to almost all of my old tracks... this mix is about 10 years old now... I agree it could use a little bit of sumthing... if you got any ideas on how to fix it up from just an mp3 file... I'd love to try... better yet... if anyone out there wants to work their magic on this track, feel free to do so. I would appreciate it more than you could ever imagine! (I'm gonna make this track downloadable as of right now!) Thanx for the feedback guys... much luv!
I like the meshing of orchestral and hip hop, can't go wrong with that in my book. Nice production, I think it sounds just fine as is though would consider extending the break at 2:05 so it's much longer and more dramatic, this would extend the whole song and make it sound a bit more polished/complete. Great tune. - DF
Thanks a lot man, I agree, orchestral hip hop is a beautiful mix. I'm glad I pulled it off well enough for you to enjoy. I'm actually going to extend that break now bro, just because I agree with you on it. It rebuilds too fast.
Thanks for the listen.
Wonderful piece, I got a special thing for piano based tracks. Liked the pace, the extended break is quite nice, I like the juxtaposition of the piano melody and the awkwardness of the break, very creative. I noticed slight buzzing/popping throughout, don't believe it's my speakers, something worth looking into. Take care. - DF
* Update * No, got a sub but maybe I've since heard static on another track so must be on my end. Either way, nice production.
I think you're onto something, good choice of acappella, beat and melody are solid, my only feedback is to fill in the vocal 'gaps' with some synth melody or vocal verses, as it seemed a bit sparse and repetitive. Maybe you were going for just that... and in that case never mind ;) - DF
Nice intro, I dig the bass 0:55 to 1:25, works well, vocals are fine by me. I also like the wobbles but feel they aren't dialed in right 1:28-1:40 as they seem to fight the pads too much. The track is absolutely sick after 2 minute mark, well done. This motivated me to find some wobbles of my own on the net. - DF
yeah this one was mainly just messing around with different basslines..They don't fit correctly and the build up takes ages haha but hey thx for ur comment
Ah yeah. Advanced stuff right here, some good true jungle going on. Love the pads that come in at 0:44, pretty cosmic and ethereal sounding. Thanks for download, I'll be jamming to this one. - DF/Jerome
Excellent intro, I like how the tuba or whatever punches through at 0:22, nice synth use just after, vocals are perfect and I'll be checking out Aerith's stuff now. Basslines sound good. Change up seems a bit abrupt at 2:10 might wanna consider reworking the bridge until 2:30 but honestly it still works, don't mean to sound negative. Maybe bring the volume down in second half as it seems much louder than 1st. Solid track my friend, really like this! - DF
Not negative this is exactly what I needed to hear. Yeah gotta work on change ups more it is a lil to abrupt but I tried to make it work. Yeah that amen drum was kinda low in my headphones so I brought it up but I guess a lil to high. I will def make the changes this weekend and repost. I appreciate the honest and constructive review Dfury please feel free to give a review like this on any of my tracks. It will help a bunch...Respect Brutha...Blume :)
What else can I say that hasn't been said? Scooby Doo scoops his own poo. JK this track has plenty of layers that interplay nicely, the chopped up filtered synth is sick, drums are insanely lovely, melody is captivating, bass line is subtle yet powerful (huh?), keyboard is playful around 1:30, effect at 2:15 is discombobulating, synthline at 2:40 is fitting. Roger roger check check. - DF
*** Update: any plan to finish this up? Could be quite a track! ***
Like floating on musical clouds! Nice work on this tune, very impressive, love the sweet break at 1:50 followed by well timed bass infusion at 2:04. I can tell you put some thought and energy into this, kudos. I want more!!! (and a DL will be icing on top) - DF/Jerome
I'm with you, throw some piano and orchestral strings in together and the masterpiece starts to unfold. Nice creativity building the track around this, this has a light pleasant trance feel to it, nice composition - DF

EDIT: Oh yes, I've got plans for this track, even if I just re-use the vocals, parts of this track are going places.
