You're right a creepy lil tune there, love the clicking sound beat, the vocals are beautiful and I like how you built around it the melody is spot on, many lovely layers to appreciate with every play, well done. I haven't seen you around the site much maybe just bad timing, miss ya take care. Faved & thanks for DL. - DF / Jerome
Yes yes YES, this is wonderful. Vocals are terrific and the music around it is just right. Hate I missed out on DL :( no worries though, got it faved :) - DF
Impressive my man, mature all around production, kudos. Check out my latest track(s) if you don't mind, a comment will push you to Elite level I think ;) - DF
Having recently been to Hawaii the surf undertones made me smile... one part tempered another part experimental, this recipe works for me, well done another fine example of how bending the fundamentals can please a wider audience. - DF
Yeah this is nice, like the rolling waves intro then the melody works its way in nicely. Time signature is intriguing and different. Your stuff is a nice refreshing change on the site I'll definitely take a listen to more. - DF
Fun in the sun baby, this is great. I like how it feels bouncy, effects during intro are intriguing, the percussions are crisp and rhythmic, great job and thanks for download - DF
Hey Kid I've been enjoying your Winner's Circle bandcamp tracks, you guys are talented. And here's another great example, I'm with CFactor the bass is mesmerizing and I like all the overlaid melodic sounds. Keep this up, you should 'feature' your tracks to let others on this site in on your work. Btw, props to your condition mentioned above. - DF / Jerome
Thanks a lot, feedback like this means a lot to me. I put a lot of work and time into my music and hearing compliments like this make it all worth while. And I will take your advice and feature more tracks on here.
I'm picturing having the top down and cruising to this on the PCH. Good rhythm and the lead is impressive, great collab. Someone get Nintendo on the line! - DF
Good variety of percussion-like sounds, glitchiness is exciting, also dig the pads they add a certain lightness to the track, well done look forward to hearing more of your stuff - DF
Cool, I'm glad you liked the percussion on this one, they were really fun to program on my synth. Thanks for your comment on the guitar! I appreciate you taking the time to listen and review!
Hey, thanks for coming to check out my work! I'm glad you like how this one turned out! Those percussions were fun to create! Thanks so much for your kind words!
Nice ambient funk rock intro, has a smooth laid back vibe that's easy to get into. Guitar is a good addition... change up at 1:25 is interesting, I like how the guitar gets chopped up, synth grows on you though would be curious to see how it compares to more on-key version but I get your idea to juxtapose the various loops. Beat at 2:00 is fitting, transition at 2:50 is quite nice and I like how it reminisces the intro overall good wrap around to past sound experiences, builds nicely. Maybe repeats a bit too closely towards end but that's a personal preference, keep this experimental stuff up it's a nice change from the mainstream. - DF
5 DL's and no reviews??? Come on people show a little engagement! This track has a nice interplay of light melody and hard hitting beats. To me the bit where vocals come in and beats starts back up at 2:22 seems a bit abrupt and would have better impact if dragged out and set up a little anticipation. Just being picky maybe just personal preference. I'm guessing ending is spliced from a set? - DF
Hi DFury :) Thank you for reviewing :) Yeah, thanks for pointing that out, i haven't really thought about it :) Actually, the reason for the sudden finish was because I wasn't particurlary happy with how the song turned out, and I had already started making something else, so I just bounced the track so you could hear it. I usually don't do that, I have so many unfinished tracks just lying in my logic folder which no one probably will ever be able to hear.. :P
Serene piece you put together there, nice pace and flow. Have you considered inserting some nature sounds to promote the Amazonian feel, such as rain, birds, frogs, etc? In any case well done. - DF
I did consider putting in some natural sounds in there, but I just thought let see what happens without them. Thanks for the suggestion though and thanks again for listening.
This is a solid tune, has a break beat kinda undertone but yes def ambient/chill out. I like the loop selection and sequencing, only remark is the beat drops too quickly at 2:15 and again at 4:00 I'd see about phasing it out somehow (i.e. fast echo). Again nice work PM. - DF
