Great track PMK, has a great feel to this. I'm swinging my beer back and forth in the air, trying to sing along but I can't cuz I don't speak the language, ha! Nice job with the vocals.
I don't know much about the grime genre but what I've heard of it on the loop I've liked. This one is no exception, very cool track. It has a lot going on but you left space in the song so it could breath and not be cluttered. You have some cool sounds going on that makes it real interesting as I listen to it, again. Nice track man!
Wow, nice track. I like when you wound it up and took it to a totally different level then brought it back to the violin. Well done, dl and fav!! Thanks for another treat!
This is great, haha. I like the glitchy beat, I don't listen to much of that genre but the beat and vocals go together so well. Loved the lyrics, that you singing? Great job with this one, so cool I'm gonna dl and fav it!
Yeah, this is one of my faves of my own tracks, I'm glad you got around to hearing it! Yep, that's me doing my best to sing. Thanks so much for the review, fave, and DL!
You are an amazing guitar player!! I mean it, when I grow up I want to be as good as you!! This is really a well constructed song and I enjoyed every second of it.
What a great complement Humps!I wish i could say I have a million of these ideas...I did say I wish..lol.
It does make it more special when it does come together tho..
I'm finally starting my new job tomorrow so things are better.I hope your taking care of yourself and feeling well.
This smokes, kinda King Swamp feel to this, very cool track Allen. Is that your tele you are playing? If it is it sounds great! I love the leads around 3 min, sick playing!! haha Great beat as well. Gonna dl and fav this, too cool!!
Hey Wayne! Thanks and yes it is the Tele,it's the only electric I have at the moment,so I've had to learn to be versatile...but a lot of times it's just the way you approach the song for myself and not so much the instrument.20yrs ago I thought teles were just for country, matter of fact I spent half a year in Nashville and the leader of the band I joined said"Son,if your gonna make it in this town you gotta get rid of that Kramer with the whammy bar and get yourself a Telecaster"so I did and no I didn't make it...but I did fall in love with the guitar..lol
Thanks again Wayne.

The strong rhythm gives it a very primative, clan or tribal feel to this. Very organic, new age, world music and even a little mystical feeling to a point as I listen. Loved the wood percussion and tabla, gave a middle eastern touch to it.
Always a pleasure to hear a new tune from you, this one is no exception. I usually close my eyes and drift away to some far off land as I listen. yup.
I'm thinking the rhythm thing I've got down so it's time to explore the melody side of things. It's funny, because even in the percussion I hear melodies, but it's been needing something more. I'm glad this stuff can take you on an inward journey. With the current economy, it seems the cheapest way to travel.
Nice to hear from you Wayne ~ It is romantic and something else ~ I'm afraid that is me crooning ~ I hope your nightmares have ceased now after listen to it...
Your music is always so uplifting, I seem to feel so much better after listening to your tracks. I liked the choral pads and vocal type effects you had going on. Nicely put together in a unique way. Gonna dl and fav, I think this is something I want to listen to now and then, thanks!
Well I'm gonna be the first to review this song. It's not bad, you have a few changes that work together well and you have some interesting sounds to mix things up a bit. Maybe liven up the drums a bit, throw in a few rolls here and there. Overall a decent track, not sure weird is the correct genre but I don't know where it would go either, ha!
Drums have always been my weak point lol. I agree though. Too many tracks have lacked in the drum dept. over the years. It's something that's become such a bad habit. This track got taken apart a few times and some of it's fx were used elsewhere. In it nearly 2 years this is the first review on it so I gotta say thanks. Weird tracks never get to much attention so it means alot lol.
P.S. It's good to hear that your tracks are getting out there for Tv, video, commercial stuff. Hope to see your name in a blockbuster movie someday :D Cheers
Poor little Robbie, haha, great description for the track! I've run into those fire ants before, viscious little buggers!! Liked the walk up notes with the synths and organ. Fun track, had me nodding my head and tapping my toes.
Nice to hear a new one, sounds great! It's amazing what can be done in just over 2 min. I like the lyrics, tells an interesting story of your friend Poppy and great delivery on the vocals. Did you buy a tambo? Sounds like a live track. Very cool track Stephane, loved it!
OK, this was pretty awesome! The organic feel, the wonderful sounds and powerful drums and percussion blew me away. You always amaze me! I liked nomad's "urbin aborigine" comment, that's a perfect way to sum it up, haha!
If you still have my email, could you send me a copy or maybe after a revision at some point, thanks in advance!
Thanks wayne yeah 'urbin aborigine' i love it..i think this track represents when the native indians discovered Jeans lol.
Glad you dig the track, yeah Seans drums are are a powerful part of the track, glad to get the approval on this.
Sure... i may revise this one over the next few days, i will be sure to send you a copy.
Very funky, James Brown feel for sure. Tried the split , not good, pulled a muscle, ripped my pants, haha, just kiddin! This is really great Charlie. I looked at the time of this, it's short but it doesn't seem like it. Very cool!
Grimeny crickets! So this is grime? Never heard much grime before. Sorry I can't give you too much technical feedback but I can say it's a really good mix and a pretty cool track. I agree with others that some vox would be cool to hear on this. Well done, cool drums!
Fanstatic, you are amazing Allen! I'm so glad you went for it and added the extras. Great southern feel to this track, a bit of Allman Bros in there. Very cool track, could listen to this kind of music for hours on end. instant fav!!
Beautiful song Daniel. Sounds like a live jazz performance. Great job putting this together, all the instruments fit perfectly together, nothing is overpowering anything else and it's a great mix as well. Gotta dl and fav this, just a wonderful piece!
Elephant guitar, haha, never heard of such a thing till now but I believe I heard it in there, sooo cool Jamie. I'm sure that going to a place like Egypt must be such an inspiration to write some music to. Such a pleasure to listen to this, it put me there, right in the heart of Cairo.
Thanks for the listen Wayne! The Elephant guitar thing is something Adrian Belew does (as well as emulating various other animals on guitar), most notably on the track "Elephant talk" on the King Crimson album Discipline - thats where it can be heard done properly (lol).
Cheers, Jamie.
The intro was very well done, it instantly created the feel you were trying to achieve with the intensity of war. I'm with ELSD on this one, war solves nothing.
The music was cool, it has a very structured mechanical feel to it like a machine, hopefully not a killing machine, haha. Ya, some good things in this, cool pads, liked the vocals, there is just enough of them.
wow, thanks, i always love it when people check out my old tracks!....this one is the beginning of my huge crazy intro saga!...im sometimes over the top when it comes to intros, but hey, how wicked can the anticipation be! thanks for the review...another one of my early favorites!

Interesting track Donnie. I'm not well versed in this style of music but I really thought it was creatively put together. I liked the purcussion especialy the bongos, they're one of my favorite purcussion instruments. I thought the mix sounded good. Sorry if I can't help with the technical aspects of it but I thought it was a cool track. Well done, great listen.
No worries mate. This was one of those projects that got sidelined (as usual, haha). I was trying something different here (using numbers for notation). There's only a couple of other things I was thinkin about addin to it, but never did. The percs were chosen coz they added a fun element of flavor I thought. Glad ya dug it. Later on!
