I looked online for this band and didn't find a lot about them. A few articles that talk about them but no music to be found. bummer. I did find a few more interviews with Joe and Mick that were pretty cool.
Also, I put up my version of Clampdown, a little different from the Clash's.
Cool track! These guys had lots of energy in their music. Mix sounds great! We used to play All the Small Things, really got the folks up and dancing. Hope you can get some vox on this, good luck!
Very cool man, something totally different than the usual here at looperman. Although I was never big into his music, like buying his albums, I can still appreciate what he did and enjoy his music.
Well done piece of music Mr. Jynxz! We've lost some legends lately, sad to see 'em go and lose all that talent.
I had not heard of this band Mick had. It was a busy time in my young adulthood when this happened so I must have missed out on this somehow. Gonna have to look them up online.
I like the track, reminds me of a couple bands from that time period the way you produced this. Mix is solid. Let me know how the overall album sounds, if you would be so kind to sum it up for me. I'm looking forward to hearing more about this group.
btw, I'm working on a song off London Calling right now, almost done. :)
The ones that write themselves are usually the ones that are the best. Simple and to the point, the "less is more factor" shining brightly here. I dig this, very cool idea man!
Well now that you've emerged from the shadows and posted a song here you are gonna get your first review. :) I'm not an electronic music producer so I won't get all technical but I'll tell you what I think of the track.
I liked the intro, the synth and how it arpeggiates is cool. You have some good changes to keep the song interesting, in other words you aren't repeating the same 8 or 16 bars over and over. The "lead" synth is very cool, the melody isn't simple and it adds a lot to the track. The lower synths add that ominous feeling. Some cool effects as well add interest. It has a cinematic feeling to me, a sci-fi thriller sort of idea.
Lots of energy in this one. I hope it doesn't get old that I keep telling you how wonderful Lauren's vox are but they are. I like female singers with attitude and angst in their voice, singers like Chrissy Hein of the Pretenders for instance. Another gem!
I love Lauren's voice and I wanted to do a song that "shakes" my head, even though her voice is a bit more pop than rock, it felt good to come back to my origins!
thanks for listening , Wayne !

Gotta watch where you're stepping these days i guess.
Put a smile on my face from the start! Loved all the elements of this. The variety of sounds and effects was surely fun to listen to. I like a more lighthearted, fun approach to music, which I assume most meatnuts do.
Nice song, nice little bits of instrumentation in there other than bass, drums and guitar. Those sounds help to build the feel and mood of the song. Vox are nice and another solid track you put together Michel.
I was on the same page as zootman, I instantly thought the Specials too, he. I like Odarka's vocals, she has a great delivery. Guitars have a cool chorus sound to them like thru a Roland Jazz Chorus amp. No complaints here!
I was just watching a vid on Gibson tv on their youtube channel, they interviewed Dweezil Zappa and he explained how his father came up with all his unique sounds and how he frankensteined so many instruments to complete the track to perfection. I can appreciate this track more after having just watched that. Fun and interesting to listen to.
Thanks Wayne, since a few people have ref'd zappa with this track i thought i'd better check some out (not having listened to him at all before). I think i see the link, though entirely flattering. by the way, did i see someone say that you were a surfer in another comment somewhere? me too for about 30 years!
How sweet can music be? This sweet actually. Such a complete track, the music is fantastic, the vocals/backing vox are so nicely mixed. Congrats to both of you, beautiful!
The idea is solid and I agree with Terry, needs a few things like Eddied Vedder vocals, snappy drums and a deep bass. That's all, lol. Great bones to a song!
Nice solemn track Michel. The vox are nice, professional sounding. Trying to make a comparison to the vocal track, reminds me of a few singers but not one in particular. I guess that's a good thing.
At first I was wondering how dubstep was the genre as it started out as a fine piece of cinematic/orchestral music. As the song progressed I saw how you developed some dynamics by adding some of those dubstep elements, some subtle but effective to build the track up and create an interesting piece. Liked how you ended it as well, nice track!
I like the mix, nothing's overpowering anything else and I can hear all the elements of the track. Cool vocals, I like the reverb/delay? on it. Well done!
Happy birthday! Is that kick drum your heart passionately beating? ;) Nice track, there is a cinematic feel to it, a longing sort of feeling. I hope you can find a singer to serenade your ex.
btw, I still keep in touch with my first serious girlfriend from high school. Still friends, just texted her some pics from high school I found the other day. Good times, precious memories. Hold onto yours and enjoy them.
To me, the thing with singing is to be original, to find where you feel comfortable singing and just go for it. Your wife will do much better and feel more confident once the first album is out. :)
I like the atmosphere, smokey bar, dimmed lights, dark, dangerous... Did you say verbal pollen? lol, great lyric! I like the change through the middle, breaks it up a bit. A woman's vocal just going off in the background would sound nice like on Pink Floyd's album Dark Side of the Moon, the Great Gig In the Sky.
Although this isn't my usual listening genre, i feel the track is put together very well, kinda pop sensibilities mixed with some electronic sounds and the mix isn't crushed with compression. Actually, I think some more compression could be done to the individual tracks to even some things out some more. Vocals are pretty cool too. Gave it a few listens, catchy for sure!

great new about your LC track be sure to send it to me when it will be finish.
About Top Risk Action Company only a cassette leaked few years ago the guys never released something official so it still a pretty secret project. But as we are a bit of fans it very interesting to check what they produced even if it's a demo state. + Topper Headon is on drum mate so you got a track called astroturf which is a heady dud and to me a Clash track ! here it is the EP link https://soundcloud.com/indieground/sets/euroshima-ep and you will find a remix from André Shapps which no less than Mick cousin and a member of Big Audio Dynamite and much more actually. And thx for you feedback Cheers !
