I miss the days of jamming with a band, sounds like fun! Where is the singer, c'mon, with all that talent none of you knew a singer with an afternoon off? ;) That would have been the icing on the cake cuz this was a tasty treat!
We are called THE FIVE MISTER MEANERS. Mr. Gary, our vocalist was not available and I sound like an alley cat on steroids.
We are just a bunch of old guys Wayne. No real studio to speak of like the good old days in my fathers garage.
If I ever get ahold of Mr. Gary, the singer, and 5th guy, I will drop in his raspy and rusty vocals. He does know how to get online so I hope he does not see this.
Until Team Time, Cheers!

This was a lot of fun to listen to, great one Micky! To me it has that late 70's feel to it, r n b mixed with disco, the Spinners come to mind. Your vocals sounded great as well. Upbeat and well mixed!
Warm feeling mix, nice bass tones. A great song to get behind the wheel of a car and take it for a long, fast drive. Positive feel to the track, up lifting. Sweet track, nice mix!
Muchas gracias Wayne, me alegro que te haya gustado el tema, te agradezco tus comentarios, después de una pista ácido e buscado algo más tranquilo. Que tengas un buen día compañero. salud y paz para todos.
The track reminds me of Chuck Mangione a bit. Some nice playing, nice neck tone, mellow. Nice chilled out track, puts my thoughts in a positive direction.
Thank you for the positive response. I did listen to Chuck Herbbie, Chick,George Duke, to name a few in my younger days. My goal when I'm writing is to create music that feels good as well as sound good. Thanks for stopping by. PEACE. T576 OUT.
When I was a kid, my family owned a Plymouth Fury with a big ass engine in it, what a boat! lol
I like the idea, a little lost in reverb or sounds recorded from a mic some distance away from the playing but I like the intensity you got going on. Reminds me a little of Nashville #####.
I like the title, just watched the Revenant movie with DeCaprio the other day. Crazy movie with all sorts of low and high points in it, some dreamlike scenes, some flashback scenes, some emotional and some shockingly honest.
I could possibly use that same description on this track. Some introspective parts and some mind tripping parts as well.
thank ye, Wayne! i read the book, highly recommended— i ain’t caught the whole flick yet, but i know there are some crucial differences that make for thought-provoking contrasts. hadn’t been thinking on that when the title came upon me, but yep, i’m adopting that. many thanks!
There's some cool changes in there, the piano loops work great together. Pretty dramatic track, lots of tension, could be cinematic. I liked the ending too. Very orchestral to me as far as the composition goes.
Hello there Wayne! I was going to ask you for some guidance and help but then I thought maybe you are too busy. All the same, please accept my humble apology. I appreciate the fact you took the time man.
I was also aiming for the POLICE (the band of course.) Thanks again so much!
Intense and powerful! Great for a movie, a chase scene specifically. I like the vocal parts at the beginning, different and that is fun to me. The part from 1:20 - 1:40 was a cool transition. A great driving song, makes you want to hit that gas pedal a little harder the more you listen.
Gracias amigo Wayne. Te agradezco tus comentarios, es una pista un poco agresiva por lo que tenía ciertas dudas a la hora de subirlo aquí. Espero que haya sido de tu agrado. Que tengas un gran día. Paz y salud para todos.
Thankyou for the morning listen and comment. Looper Man is a great source of talent. I've listen to jazz tracks here but not much smooth jazz. I'm glad you liked this track will stop by. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Nice track, good vibe happening here! Cool vox and the piano with the pads/keys is such a compliment to them. Mix is decent, quite an enjoyable listen, well done folks!
Vocals are right out front, clear and understandable. They tell a story that the listener can relate to which is the main point of the lyrics. The music is nice, low key and wide open for vocals. Cool!
What a cool trip I went on as I listened. I loved all the effects/sounds you created and the atmosphere becomes dark and menacing. Seems like you have stepped slightly away from your expansive, beautiful creations you usually post. It's an interesting track, progresses nicely, cool dynamics. It starts off rather peaceful though, a little mother nature then some nice piano chords then it goes slightly awry. ;)
Yeah Wayne...I think it's healthy to step out of the usual
sometimes, and so I did...and I'm surely glad that you approve it...thank you most kindly my friend !:)
This is cool! I like the space in the song, there's plenty going on but it's wide open in the mix. Lyrics/singing are interesting, giving the song a darker theme.
Great job turning a poem into music, i think it captures the idea Hardy had perfectly.
Lots of cool vibes in the track, music has that summer, reggae, hot feel to it. It's a more electronic take on reggae but with the same result. I like the vocals, fun and they work well with the music. The backups are cool too.
Nothing like an acoustic git and a singer. Singer/songwriter music is my passion. It makes the performer vulnerable and exposed and the ability of that person to write now becomes very important as the song needs to hold it's weight with so little going on.
I think it sounds fine, the acoustic has some nice reverb on it. I usually always record the instruments and singing separately, for mixing purposes, it's easier I think. You did a great job for recording and playing all at once. Dig the lyrics too!
yeah a bit like finding yourself naked in public eh! Separate would definitely be easier for mixing etc but then when u sing you've got to work out where the words are supposed to go and i find that hard, specially like in this one with no real steady beat. guess its a trade off in spontaneity and other things. Anyways, i appreciate your time and comments, thanks.

It's like electronic styled western music. It would work perfectly in a futuristic western movie where the outlaws are all robots. Neat track!

Btw, i have a trick too lately in a few tracks where my tune's last half minute is missing too, lol... :(
