how ya doing, bro? this is great-sounding stuff! it is so complete and compact i’m like shit how’s he do that?
i would like to hear more from the project. seriously, this is very interior, i have to guess it’s autobiographical?
the recording is really fine, i love the thru-line on the piano, the rise and fall of the production. very very cool work!
i'm doing fine bro. what about you? Yes, it's like autobiographical but there are some tracks that were supposed to be there that i didn't put cause i wasn't happy with the result. At the end i put 4 tracks about the impact my dad has on my life and 3 others about my experience from love. I’ll put all here but i can only put 1 track every 24h. Send me your Email or a social media account where i can send you the link if you wanna listen all now.
And thank you for your feedback bro
drawn into this immediately—the ambient sounds are used just right. this is like a craft in the water, paddling ceaselessly yet calmly against the tide. haunting and meticulous music!
Hi mate, fine praise indeed. Very thoughtful comment and the more I think about it the more it fits. Thanks for the review, will be sure to do the same in due course.
not maj’s disastrous year, mate — it’s maj’s miraculous recovery. that this track is a kind of rediscovery is really touching to me my friend. the sounds here represent a grace in the face of loss. bear lends such a great presence to this beautiful, spiritual music. this would be so good in a western, too. keep going, man!
easty-boy! who allows such raunchy grannies and their nasty gets such freedoms? where are your property values?
a magnificent jam the rhythm section knows when to push and when to hang and gnarly mix of vocal/gtr/syn/organ lines is hot af. leaves a scar. watch out around those watsons!

sung and played with such complete conviction— i wouldn’t change a thing, man. you are like penetrating some far out mysteries here!
thank you for introducing to a new form, the selections you made are masterworks, you give a timeless perf on this. dude did you translate these, that is a hella thing in itself.
Thank you so much man, very moving words!
No, my Japanese is pretty non-existant beyond konnichiwa and sayonara ;)
I based this actually on a Dutch blog post. That guy deserves all the credit, because this is also 1000 year old poetry. penseelvanwind.nl/vallen-op-verval/ is the post - you may not speak Dutch, but you'll see how pretty he shaped the words.
Awesome job, and I tried to capture that spirit.
Thanks again my friend!
i’m lifted on a very big blue wave engulfing the milky way, seeing faces i know along the way. this is soul music, my friend. it speaks volumes about you, too. you’ve seen a lot, and not lost yourself. ace to have you working, Maj!
Hello, my dear friend Mike.
Mate, you are such a great friend I really thank you for that. Many thanks for your kind feedback.
I am glad you liked it too.
I really appreciate the faves too.
Maj
well, i’v had to wait a few days to have the right listening space for this, and so — my god, man what a show! the imagery has me seeing the ravens morphing with atomic bombers and flight on some black helicopters. the composition and orchestration are superbly affective, and that singing is like, on stage. john adams meets ultravox. very, very fine stuff, my friend.
In your comments you always give the most amazing imagery. I would've never thought of birds morphing into atomic bombers but it's a h*ll of a cool thought. Thanks so much man, as always.
I usually like my shrooms on pizza or in vegetables.
How weird is that?
I'm glad you stopped by and gave my track a listen.
I really appreciate your Fave and humorous comments.
I wonder what you'll think I'm smokin on my next track
I think weird might be an understatement for it. lol.

hiya Ed! supple playing like yers is treasure. this finds you right back in the pocket, not that you ever left it! i always admire your instinct, man — thanks for showing us how dude!
BB, you’ve been knocking them out of the park man! i love the trajectory this has, you have really found the heart of the poem. genuine, uplifting work!
Thank you so much buddy! It helps to have a great lyric to start with for inspiration, but it's also been a journey to get the track where it is now... I think I'm on version 22 and counting :D
i’m a fan of the pella so i had to check this out. ah, man the sensuous rhythms rub against the cold vox in the right way, and the instrumentation varies and blends wonderfully. much admired.
hey DFay, this is tense and different from what i’ve heard from you in a while. i dig the mix and your vox sound really confident. tell more about this ep, bro!
i don’t have one favorite rapper, but when the question comes up i say chuck d because he makes me listen up. how do you answer that?
Thank you very much bro. I 'm trying to push myself more. You know most of the time when i recorded a song, i was afraid to go back and re-record it. Now if i feel it needs extra work, I go back and make the change.
The Ep will be like 5 tracks talking about my dad, importance of a dad from my experience and one track will be about love.
I don't have one favorite rapper but i can say Youssoupha, Kerry James (French rappers) because the way they use rap to make you open your eyes from different subjects.
hyperactive, hell, hyperbolic af attack of the 50-piece jazzfunk arkestra sun ra left a burning fragment of behind upon his return to saturn.
you’re reaching for the mythic and nailing it, man!
DANG! xstokes it's like that? Sun Ra? Ok, that's way, way up there! But really, there's absolutely no limit to what we can do musically. If we're willing to learn and apply those lessons, we can achieve what we could only dream about a short while ago. THX, much for the thumbs up and fave. Go ahead and have that awesome weekend, and I'll catch you on the next go round.
