damn, now this sounds nothing like sun ra, but it brought him to mind and dude it’s cosmic, or straight from saturn let’s say. really mindblowing free-funk jam that really catches fire and then goes nova. applause, buddy!

damn. it’s great. yes, put your voice a bit more forward in the mix, but man the delivery is right on, and this sounds like a one-take, too!

very cool, stark and dramatic and strangely western. sound is fabulous and the bassline is really right on. much respect, man!

damn, this is a gorgeously layered, forest-y groove. a charmed ambient glow makes this easy to listen to, but its really a rewarding close listen. more serious, solid music!

hey Michael! when this things breaks open a third of the way thru, it rides a really powerful wave right to the end! it’s an exciting and really well-made song. my fav perf from the pair of you yet!

combustible sprit-music, man! you sound good playing on the dirty side, here — it’s a nice revelation to hear ‘hancock’ without the bright finish that characterizes his electronic stuff. the bruised knucks are just massive on that bass right outta the gate, and the funk flows well with the jazz. crazy good stuff!!

wow, stephen, chill but restless and full of strange portents. has a grandness with worn cuffs. an artfully contained abstract, thru a crystal ball, darkly.
