hello Wayne! there’s such a depth to this song, and you really perform it with heart, man. there is no cheating going on here.
you always make the subjects of your covers feel like new finds, my friend!
This one has more "singing" in it than the growly vocals in the rock and punk songs i've been doing lately. The backups are always fun to do in any song, this one was challenging but i never fuss much with things.
just love that lilting trippy country feel, the reading is just as good as it gets. the air of breezy creativity and warmth and sense of place is feckin transcendental man. brilliant, utterly transporting music, ian!
is this a found piece of vox? rare stuff.
Hey Michael - thanks for checking this out - I think there is some more I can use from that squeaking gate, with less manipulation, but you know how it is once you start exploring what the software can do and blending sounds - the vox I found at the https://poetryarchive.org/. I hope that given the context (ie; lounge room amateur and not for profit use) using this is not a problem but can take it down if it is
maj! damn i’m glad you brought this back up front! for us who missed it the first time, i mean! the vibe is preternatural and predatory as a cat. conjuring music, this is special, mate!
Hey my dear Mike.
My chest is still hearting, that's why I don't spend much time on the keyboard or the guitar.
I thought to bring some of the oldies up.
Many thanks for your kind feedback.
I am glad you liked it.

oh, brother, that first change at :38 just made me both sit up and set back for more, and having read your desc i knew i was in for something special. over with way 2 soon!! ah, the swinging piano is brilliant, as is the stabby synth lead. and yeah, the rhythm section takes no prisoners! i am really glad you uploaded this for us!!
I was very happy with the way this track turned out.
I had just gotten the Bass and Keyboard VST's when I
wrote this and was a little afraid that I needed to play
with them more before I posted a track with them but, apparently that fear was just me.
I'm really glad you found this track interesting enough to Fave it. That is a sure indication to me that the music I'm
making is going in the right direction.
hmm, this proves that one can go spelunking in the rain. gorgeous and very subterranean mix. the motif cluster is especially cool, there’s some crazy folded spaces between the notes that ooze from the rumbles like glow-in-the-dark cave painting. bliss to my ears, chris!
Hi there, subterranean was what I was after. I had a friend a long time ago who was a spelunker. Mad as hatter (maybe goes with the territory), loved his psycadelics but an interesting and lovely guy.
ya this is some snakehandling trip. rap thru the looking glass, disappears down the rabbit hole with that frisky cowbell-style outro. this is deep and crazy i just love the hell out of it. aces, Jynx — peace!
very tight playing all around, love the tricky changes and the slamming. what a good band! you make me want to be there to cheer you guys on! great rocknroll, man.
hey man i was wondering where you’ve been! this is a crazy mix, i dig the treatments on the vox and the beat pulls me in all the way. hope you are well!
i'm here bro. Being working on other things and my mic was dead and i actually recorded this on my phone. Thx very much bro for the comment. What about you? if you have other social media let me know. Maybe we can work on a project.
haha, thanks for the nudge big-time mate! channeling dsuzuki, you slumming swine! man it’s the live-evil keys and git and no more fuckin radio one saturday night. raw and groovy as jesus vs the evil dead. righteous!!
Who'd have thought it could be so much fun pretending to be someone you aren't. Felt a bit nihilistic hitting you up to listen to this one, but oh well and thanks for the listen. Loved your comment.
hi BB, echo Jynxz, man this this feels like being there! i really like yr vox and how they’re placed in the mix, it’s kind of shy but like a come-on still. cool, swinging stuff!
Thanks a lot man! I'm still very insecure about singing but bit by bit I'm learning. I've also decided to start taking singing lessons - I think that would help both me and my audience:D
