very tight playing all around, love the tricky changes and the slamming. what a good band! you make me want to be there to cheer you guys on! great rocknroll, man.
hey man i was wondering where you’ve been! this is a crazy mix, i dig the treatments on the vox and the beat pulls me in all the way. hope you are well!
i'm here bro. Being working on other things and my mic was dead and i actually recorded this on my phone. Thx very much bro for the comment. What about you? if you have other social media let me know. Maybe we can work on a project.
haha, thanks for the nudge big-time mate! channeling dsuzuki, you slumming swine! man it’s the live-evil keys and git and no more ##### radio one saturday night. raw and groovy as jesus vs the evil dead. righteous!!
Who'd have thought it could be so much fun pretending to be someone you aren't. Felt a bit nihilistic hitting you up to listen to this one, but oh well and thanks for the listen. Loved your comment.
hi BB, echo Jynxz, man this this feels like being there! i really like yr vox and how they’re placed in the mix, it’s kind of shy but like a come-on still. cool, swinging stuff!
Thanks a lot man! I'm still very insecure about singing but bit by bit I'm learning. I've also decided to start taking singing lessons - I think that would help both me and my audience:D
hello, i chose a track at random and hey man i am digging this atmosphere a lot. i’m very drawn to moody explorations like this, and the arrangement is fresh, the piano is really good.
superb. the suspension you achieve in this track is real magic. i am taken by the gathering power and also the restraint, this rides the wave all the way thru. the way the bass sits in the mix is a pure vibe, and dude the emanations extracted from the gtrs are spectral and darkangel batshit beautiful. i love how much this in the eno/laswell tradition, but also has a unique and really postpunk postmybloodyvalentine sensibility.
the percussions really stretched the envelope too. fine music, man!
aah too kind my friend, thanks for the listen and comment as always. try my track Jesus has a Mighty Sword if you get around to it, I thought that was quite fun, or at least, I had fun doing it.
damn, now this sounds nothing like sun ra, but it brought him to mind and dude it’s cosmic, or straight from saturn let’s say. really mindblowing free-funk jam that really catches fire and then goes nova. applause, buddy!
It is an incredible complement coming from
you, to mention my attempts at releasing a free-flo
sound that you find enjoyable. It is also very encouraging.
Your Fave means a whole lot to me. I'm a big fan of your work.
damn. it’s great. yes, put your voice a bit more forward in the mix, but man the delivery is right on, and this sounds like a one-take, too!
now, the cake!
damn, this is a gorgeously layered, forest-y groove. a charmed ambient glow makes this easy to listen to, but its really a rewarding close listen. more serious, solid music!
hey Michael! when this things breaks open a third of the way thru, it rides a really powerful wave right to the end! it’s an exciting and really well-made song. my fav perf from the pair of you yet!
combustible sprit-music, man! you sound good playing on the dirty side, here — it’s a nice revelation to hear ‘hancock’ without the bright finish that characterizes his electronic stuff. the bruised knucks are just massive on that bass right outta the gate, and the funk flows well with the jazz. crazy good stuff!!
wow, stephen, chill but restless and full of strange portents. has a grandness with worn cuffs. an artfully contained abstract, thru a crystal ball, darkly.
Ian, dude this is the best ##### glam i’ve heard for ages. the chill electronics and the warm electronics tweak very sweetly along with nick’s vox, it’s like bryan ferry as the terminator, hella cool. pal, i can’t tell you what yr support means so thanks for listening to my drive-by-night crap. this is a c e.
i tell you, once there bookstores made to hear this in. kilgore was here. shoot me now. musing and really quite wroth you bookworm. i’ve been looking for a decent copy of r brautigan’s trout fishing in america, highly rec’d. and now i want to get my hands on kv’s non-fiction stuff, much of that i haven’t read for some reason. this stunning subversiveness gets in my blood, brother!
