i like how much this song changes tactics and it does what it says, ends up stronger.
i keep my exposure to social media pretty minimal, even for music. basically if i don’t listen to looperman, i play cds.
i’m not social enough to like all that other shit!
—haha, i’ll check out your stuff tho, bro!

Thank you bro. I understand you, i don't stay a lot on social media. Much of the time people attack you for no reason, it's kind toxic but they are good thing too.

Well, I probably wouldn't say that we're earth-sick... it's more like the pull of the vastness....which we just can't resist. Thank God we have such excellent navigation and we always find our way back in the end. Although the propellant on this vehicle was pretty strong during the outro ...
Thank you for your visit and the encouraging comment!
Cheers,
Micky (also on behalf of Jynxz)

i dig getting hear some of yer more formative music. that big but spare piano line is really nicely employed with the rolling drums and bass. cheers, Maj!

Hello Brother Mike.
Thanks for that Mike.
Manuela, thinking it needs structural change I agree.
But unfortunately, I lost it in the big crash.
Mike, I really appreciate your support Brother.
I'm glad you like it and thanks for the faves.

on Per Tempus by Swanm2002
a sustained sense of wonder shot through with ecstatic dread, this is crazy good orchestration, performance, and production. i went walking once on the matanuska glacier above anchorage alaska, and the ‘footsteps’ that launch this put me there immediately. there are so many riches in these layers. astounding music!

on Vast Space by hekklers
intro is bliss, and the reprise is cool af. i love how the rest of this just belts it out, the stringy thudding bass is something else. i like it as an instrumental.

on 1Dadd by DFay
ha yeah man it can be rough writing about people who know for a fact it’s about them! i want to hear that one!!
this speaks to the kid i was at 13 when my dad died. once more, it’s the honesty you put across that makes this connect, and the music is killing it.

on Bout A Bag ft Grafezzy by pseudoble
ah so deliriously cool. you take your time making this lock and then it fucking clicks and it rules. i love that you went all the way with it — it develops a groove that makes me feel pretty damn good. hey man i’m also glad you seem to be playing a lot these days! keep experimental music alive!

Thanks mate - appreciate your listening and the consistent warm feedback.
Unfortunately the motive for music making is not so artful, Im avoiding work! - I seriously have to stop for a while and get sorted before I bury myself ... discipline ... been a while since I exercised any of that : )

well i had to look you up, of course— and you’re right, of course. haha yeah this is worthy shit! i’ll be a listener. the piano has that real grand manner! the cello break is way cool and i dig the whole thing.
and also congratulations on your news — i wish you happiness.

on Suis pas triste by DFay
once again i feel like a typical american uni-lingual ass. given your description as a guide, though, i experience some pretty rough emotions — this voice is universal, man, and the music is too.
this is exactly what i learn from you — you say so much so clearly in such a small space!
DFay
DFay replied 12th Oct 2022 - 3 years ago
bro, that the fisrt track i produced my self. it's been a while since i listened to it for real. I don't know if you have heard about that genre it calls "Slam", very popular in France. The genre is more about telling a story, it can be without instrumental just the vocal. It was a sad period for me when i wrote it. Thank you xstokes.

Man,this track is from my 1st EP "Agony". I put it out cuz some friends were asking me for music after a couple featuring. At the time i was starting to learn music production. Thank you bro for bringing me back to the futur.

on Catkins dashing in the wind by AE03hua
this is a great piece, piques my interest in the series. i love theme of the title, and the fluid, kinetic music moves like the titular tubes themselves.

this is like double-down heart-wrench, mate. so lost, so lost. you put me in a place i could not help but go with this music, but it leaves me shaken. it’s a good thing i listened to ‘happy for paul’ before this, i might not have been able to get up for a while!
honest, soulful, beautiful composition, my friend.

on Up and Down by crucethus
this just gets fuckin astonishing. the opening section comes from inside a generator, and the extended variations that make up the body are a great workout, they deliver on the concept. but that close is stealing it, man — very unexpected turn that zeros in a more somber vision, incredibly moving seconds, dude. this is groovy stuff.

haha you know i can’t stand a day without reverb, so this hits a sweet spot for me. i think the isolation it creates really supports the lyrics. not to mention the score!! i love how you followed through on this, the orchestration’s top notch, you have made a beautiful, lonely, nocturnal, and moving piece o muzik here, cuz!

on 6Noww by DFay
how ya doing, bro? this is great-sounding stuff! it is so complete and compact i’m like shit how’s he do that?
i would like to hear more from the project. seriously, this is very interior, i have to guess it’s autobiographical?
the recording is really fine, i love the thru-line on the piano, the rise and fall of the production. very very cool work!
DFay
DFay replied 11th Oct 2022 - 3 years ago
i'm doing fine bro. what about you? Yes, it's like autobiographical but there are some tracks that were supposed to be there that i didn't put cause i wasn't happy with the result. At the end i put 4 tracks about the impact my dad has on my life and 3 others about my experience from love. I’ll put all here but i can only put 1 track every 24h. Send me your Email or a social media account where i can send you the link if you wanna listen all now.
And thank you for your feedback bro

on Legacy Of The Dark Mind 2 Updated by DijamMusic
not maj’s disastrous year, mate — it’s maj’s miraculous recovery. that this track is a kind of rediscovery is really touching to me my friend. the sounds here represent a grace in the face of loss. bear lends such a great presence to this beautiful, spiritual music. this would be so good in a western, too. keep going, man!

easty-boy! who allows such raunchy grannies and their nasty gets such freedoms? where are your property values?
a magnificent jam the rhythm section knows when to push and when to hang and gnarly mix of vocal/gtr/syn/organ lines is hot af. leaves a scar. watch out around those watsons!

sung and played with such complete conviction— i wouldn’t change a thing, man. you are like penetrating some far out mysteries here!

Thank you so much man, very moving words!
No, my Japanese is pretty non-existant beyond konnichiwa and sayonara ;)

I based this actually on a Dutch blog post. That guy deserves all the credit, because this is also 1000 year old poetry. penseelvanwind.nl/vallen-op-verval/ is the post - you may not speak Dutch, but you'll see how pretty he shaped the words.

Awesome job, and I tried to capture that spirit.
Thanks again my friend!
