You know you can update the same track? Replace the first mix with the second mix for instance and it will still count as the same track? You probably know that already but just incase.

If this is your first Dubstep choon, what were you making before out of interest? Were you doing Grime? Nice track, good synth work. Fruity?

EDIT: Just saw FL9 in the description, so that answers that. : )

on Snow Withe under Glass by zappo
Lol, I reviewed this before it was finished, but I'm still sitting here listening to this track. Most impressive I've ever heard on Looper. I'd love to re-fix this and put some beats behind it. Turn in into a hip hop piece or something....

Amazing stuff.

EDIT: Of course, your call. But I'm telling you I can turn this into a very different and equally amazing piece. Let me know man.

How much of this is samples man? If you did all this yourself you are incredible. Ob the vocal is a sample, but I mean the rest of it. Even if it is samples I'm seriously impressed. This is getting a fav.

EDIT: Well, you're amazing, so keep it up.

on Make the Doe by ShaolinDS
Like the string pattern, just needs a top-line melody in there something to bring it all together. Also needs a little more percussion. Stay on it fam.

Cool fam, keep doing your thing. Check my tracks Blacklisted and Floating Castle, think you'll be feeling them.

LOL yeah it can be trying at times...I continue to push the s#!t as far as I can...hopefully I will get a replacement distortion pedal within the next week or so, but I do not know how my DOD American Metal will EVER be replaced! Piece of American S#!T If I cannot replace it, I am going to SMASH it...sort of off-topic I know, but VIOLENCE BEGETS VIOLENCE

This must be completely different track, cus I def wouldn't have written what I wrote in my other review about this. if you send me the accapella I'm up for working with this. Beat is good, but bars are fia.

It it you spitting on the track? Or just your beat?

on Loving This Life by Preach2k8
It's weird, cus you're from the states and probably haven't heard it. But there's a track that came out here in the UK recently that has that EXACT piano line.

Lyrics are something like "come fill my little world right up, right up" don't know the artist.

I like the track tho man, nice production good drums too.

EDIT: Don't be down about it man, there's only a few people on earth that can pull that off. Check out my stuff and review when you get a chance fam, you might like it. Don't let what I said put a downer on it man, it's a damn good track so keep at it. Also it was a big hit, so you're on the right track.
Preach2k8
Preach2k8 replied Unknown
Thanks for the feedback. Nah, hadn't heard of it. Kind of a let down though, cause I like for my stuff to sound original and like none other. But like the saying goes, nothing new under the sun. Glad you enjoyed it. Have a great day.

on stop crying by alan123
Some good elements in here, needs a god mix and EQ man. You should look on-line for an EQ reference guide. Go to google and type "EQ reference guide" and switch the search to images, you should find one on there. Good stuff tho fam, keep it up.

EDIT: You're welcome man, hope that helps. Have a listen/review one of my tracks when you get a chance fam.

on Deception (instrumental version) by guitarjock
Looks like you got a Jackson too from the neck pattern in your pic. Is that you're usual ride?

I like this track man, some really good ideas, the switch for the chorus is heavy.....

Solo just kicked in. i take it you're a lead player then? Haha! I used to have a Les Paul back in the day, loved that thing.

Keep it up man, I'll be keeping an eye out for your stuff.

EDIT: That Jackson remark I made was bothering me, my second guess would have been another Ib. : )

Don't think you'll like what I'm up to now, but I used to be in Metal bands myself. I love Metal and have allot of respect for it. Pantera, Vulger Display of Power, and Cowboys from Hell are a couple of favs, used to play Battery by Metallica on my guitar every single day, what a riff. I could go on and on as it's all i listened to for years. Good stuff tho man, keep it up and will keep an eye out for more.

Hello end,
Nope, it's not a Jackson, but I wish I had one. My old guitar player from a band I played in back in the 90s used to play one and it was a great guitar. I just have my two Ibanez's. One is a cheap one that happens to play very well and the other is my expensive "flashy" Jem that I got back in the 90s. Yup I play both rythm and lead and I also enjoy playing keys and bass from time to time. I actually started out playing the piano when I was really little. Then when I was a teenager, I tried out to be the keyboardist for this rock band, and after the tryout, when I picked up one of the guitars a played a little, they told me, "you're in the band. And you're not a keyboardist; you are a guitarist!" Les Paul...that's another guitar I would love to have! Anyway, thanks for checking me out. I will check out some of you're tracks too. I hear you write some really cool stuff. Keep jammin!

on F U N K E N-Ritualistic Bloodletting Dance by Rats
Were you blazing when you did this one then? Haha!
Sounds like an interlude from an old Beastie Boys record fam, like a modern day Brass Monkey or something.
Rats
Rats replied Unknown
LOL blazing=definately...I had heard of these peeps who take energy drinks and snort coke and dance at these raves until the sun comes up, and one night while smoking huge buds and listening to old Kraftwerk I had a vision of people dancing while coughing up great spongy curds of blood upon the dance floor, continuing to dance on the bloody stumps of their legs having worn their feet away. The video will most certainly be banned everywhere when and if I decide to create it.

on Klassical Kombat by ShamanStone
Something tells me you should just throw a lightly distorted 4.4 kick under this and let it ride.

I can't hear Mortal Kombat in this tho? Or is it the sample right in the background?
ShamanStone
ShamanStone replied Unknown
Well thats the twist, the theme is sequenced through midi instruments (Guitars playing clean and a grand.) It makes it sound like a completely different song.
