Lots of different elements indeed. But it all flows nicely and you've managed to settle a general mood to the whole track such that it all holds together very well. Curious to see how it goes with vocals but it's really cool as is. Nice original work!
Nice track with lots of energy. Great intro with those birds! Great pads too they suit well and they are nicely brought in. I'd add something at the end too to finish it nicely (like getting back to nature...). Good work!
Love the reggae feel combined with those drums. You've really built it nicely with the vocals and the instruments serving each other. Nice work and nice avatar too, Richard D. James is the man!!
Thanks Bro, this was my first ragga track made on cubase. Still trying to figure it out. I freaking love Aphex. He is one of my inspirations when it comes to making music..Thanks for listening and reviewing.. Keep making those beats...Rob One...Blume
Aliens are fighting in space! I definitely see aliens with this track... Very original one... did some green people help you or did you recorded any extraterrestrial sounds, you know like some voice or something. Sorry... Nice sounds, nice track, thanks for sharing!
Love those strings and drums, pretty IDM indeed, and I love IDM! Kinda feels like Aphex Twin mixing his ambient work with his more intricate sounds. Really nice professional work, pretty well built up!
This track is perfect, period! I don't know why I never check the rock section, I won't do the same mistake. I had to say something since its a fav and dl! Thanks for this piece of rock, very impressed by your skills!!
This is an interesting and unexpected combination of elements! Love how the sick keys melody and the guitar talk to each other. Awesome solo too!! Hope to hear more of you and your son! Welcome to the loop!
Thanks for the welcome!Yes,your description is appreciated and validates once again that different musical worlds, styles, stages and ages can combine to create it's own...and it's a whole lot of fun!
Very dark atmosphere! Lots of cool sounds going on here this is the kind of stuff I really like! Nice progression through the track so it keep the listener's attention. Great work thanks for sharing!
Who cares about a genre if it rocks! This is really nice but really short! I thought this was some cool intro and was waiting for the drums to beat harder and the song to start, but instead it was the end!! Anyway I liked it!
Thanks for the comment. I will mainly use this Looperman page to upload all that stuff i either can't finish or just won't finish. But there will be some tracks once and awhile that is complete. for complete tracks check either beatport for my releases or soundcloud.com/jonas-neverbag/
Those pads and layers make me feel as if I was in space, watching the earth and the sunrise, comfortably floating inside the ISS...
Very aerial atmospheric ambient stuff. I really like it!
i can tell why youd say that, that could be interpreted as several moods though. though i think the one your thinking of is one of awe. glad you like it and thanks for review
Hybrid + Moby, how can I not listen to your track! And I'm not disappointed at all! I'd make the intro shorter too, personnaly, and bring those string and pad a bit sooner. I mean, make the events coming a bit faster, and make them last longer.
Anyway, just my opinion! Great track, thanks!
Can't help you on getting the right genre for this one. It has a lot of influences, which is really nice! Plus I'm not a "genre expert", and like you said, music is music.
The only thing I would say is that the bass kick seems really (too?) loud. Besides that the instruments you're using are really cool and the whole is well produced.
Keep up the good work, and welcome to the loop!!
Thanks for the review. The isolated feel was something I didn't know if people would get. Had to come up with an elaborate description. Worked well by the reaction its got. The guitar I wanted to have an Ennio Morricone feel to it. Kinda hard to do with midi. Overall though I liked it. Thanks for reviewing, Cheers :)
I've never seen the film, but I like your track! Very relaxing and the use of sounds and voices (form the movie I suppose) makes it a very visual track!
Good Work!
I've heard that background melody in another track a while ago, which I found beautiful (Abacus by TraxMusic). The idea of adding vocals is really great, nice voice! Too bad it's way too short!
Well... HOW do you make those freaky sounds!? Sick track man! I feel like I'm in the heart of my comp. Oh wait that sweet belly melody got me out of it!
Nice freaking glitch! Quite mysterious start and cool piece of piano!! It kinda makes me think of a sci-fi/action movie scene, where some kind of hero is preparing his final assault. He's busy setting traps, preparing his gears and elaborating his action plan before killing the bad guy...
Great track!
This is a great trip, a journey to a beautiful and surreal country! Really cool combination of sounds and nicely arranged. I'm curious to hear the longer version, wish to stay longer in this world!
Thanks for the vibe man, warms my heart :) As for the longer version, 'fraid you'll have to play it allover again, as the longer version will be too big to upload it here (will be, as it's still in production, needs some cosmetic changes). But if you're really want to listen to it, send me a message, and I shall email it to you, when it's done.
Peace!
