Very relaxing and very fitting the title. Just what I needed to relax after a hard day and a tough exam so thanks much. Really dig the progression and the different sounds here, especially that guitar. Nice one thanks for sharing.
haha, enjoyed the dialogue! And the synth does really give the sensation of hearing cars in a race. Really dig the industrial bass playing throughout. I can easily hear it while playing a racing game, yeah definitely, full volume and full speed!!
And again some other cool sick sounds! Really like it! And hl2.exe is definitely starting a career in music lol. I try to make some databending too and it's really funny to hear how a file sounds! Another nice glitchy track!
wow... feels like I'm wandering in some hot district of a big cosmopolitan city!! Enjoyed it a lot! So many loops and sounds gathered here in a whole coherent awesome track. I like the intro when the accordion comes in, I like the vocals too, really well mixed up with the other instruments, I like the arrangement on the drums too... Actually I like everything in this track! Huge work thank you lots for sharing!
You're on my short-list to review, so thanks so much for alerting my to your presence on this site! This one does carry a sort of internal heat, doesn't it? Urban centers not too far from the equator. Glad you enjoy this one, as it really does some interesting things. Thanks much for the favorite, that is a huge compliment! Cheers.
Very contemplative, dark and melancholic. I find the title fitting pretty well, gives some time to think - our lives are getting busier and busier each day, filled with noise and stress... we forget to give us some time only to think and meditate about what we have done, what we do, what we want to do. This is important in order to not go straight into the wall... But I digress... I also like how it grows till the end. Very nice work, thanks!
Thanks a lot for the review and keeping up with my tracks : I'm really glad you are enjoying my music! I'll be sure to check out some of your stuff as well ;)
wow that's really amazing. guess that's what comes up when two great musicians like you collab! Really neat work, funky and relaxing. I'm more and more impressed each day by the talents this site holds, and you make no exception!
Disco industrial is the genre that comes to my mind... Man you put his thoughts in music with "Micro$oft Sam"!! Ted would be so angry about that! I love irony and enjoyed this track!
"How did I slip into... ". Can hear the NIN reference for sure! Nicely done, big industrial kinda beats and sad piano, just how it should be... Don't hear such good industrial tracks often so congrats to you. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks ALXSIX, No problem.. I love to share and hear new music all the time. Especially the artists hear on looperman.. I appreciate the positive feedback and keep up the good work with your tunes, very chill...Peace... Blume..
hmmm very original track! I like those vibes, can't put a name on it but they sound very unique... Enjoyed it a lot thanks for this unique moment of complete weirdness!!
I'm getting some celtic feelings with this one, your voice sounds celtic... I don't know. Anyway, you have an awesome voice!
I can hear this one in some epic movie, like LOTR or something like that. Great arrangements and production and nice choice of loops! Really liked it and again, damn great voice!
Oops - ALXSIX - your reply is just below by johnnygadget!
@johnnygadget... i've heard murmers about you on looperman before! thanks for the listen and comment... the bird in flight analogy is stunning. i always really enjoy reading about what people 'see / feel / experience' when listening to my tunes. thanks for sharing your thoughts also!
Beautiful orchestral pieces! And you did a very good job combining them with darker parts. This could be cinematic too. Some kind of adventure in space, discovering a new galaxy, a beautiful and yet strange one. I like how it kicks in in the end, with the drums and the stings getting heavier. Well built up! Really dreamy, enjoyed it a lot!
This is really the kind of ambient stuffs I like! It does feel as if I was underwater, and it has some sort of "dark beauty" feeling. Love the guitar loop playing throughout. Nice one thanks for sharing!
Pretty interesting to hear experimentations like this. I've heard of this way of making music or sounds, but never heard the result. So basically this is a program which runs programs/algorithms to create sounds? I'm curious!
Definitely weird, kinda haunting and scary. This is really an interesting result! And yeah, it was maybe a little too low on the volume.
Thanks ALXSIX, I was really not expecting anyone to be interested or would enjoy this one, really thank you for the time taken to listen to provide some kind words. I updated it with a little boost so it's a bit louder, thanks for that note, that is appreciated very much.
Basically the track is made with code. In this case I used a programming environment called ChucK:
A programming language for music composition and real-time synthesis. It's really cool and very useful for algorithm-based music and also very fun to experiment with.
Anyway, glad that you enjoyed this one and thanks again for noting the levels.
Nice job with those drums, really catchy. Really enjoyed the build up and the various sounds and effects. Feels like it kinda depicts the fear a big snake like that can represent. Nice one!
Nice work with those loops! You managed to arrange them such that it all holds together very well. Nice beat, and really like the speaking parts they fit the whole mood and it's really original. Good work, thanks for sharing!
hummm this isn't really rock, is it? Nice fun track though, kinda electroish with some old disco feel to it. Nice original work, the tempo change is kinda risky and surprising but it works! Peace!
By means of your music, you've kinda described paranoia, at least that's what I feel. Really freaking strange, could be used in some horror flick! Like they said, this one takes your mind to some places, leaving space to imagination which makes it a unique experience as each listener will picture something different. Good work!
hmmmm Blade Runner... Very original work guys, never heard stuffs like this before. It kinda has an illness feeling to it. Sick track and awesome beat.
Killer intro with those glitched beats and the scratches, really enjoyed it a lot!! Then it goes a lil more technoish with those synth and bass. Which is less my cup of tea but its original and nicely arranged. Very original work combining such elements, wasn't expecting that at all! Nice work.
Beautiful and relaxing, nice arrangements it sounds really simply great. It's pure, just the right amount of instruments, works well on this sunny day. It maybe just needs some proper ending to achieve perfection! Nice one!
Haha, yeah can definitely hear the dutch reference here!! Some benassi sounds too hehe... Nicely built up, the only thing I would like is maybe some more punch when it comes to the main sequences, like adding some snare drums or hihats. Anyway just my opinion! Really liked it thanks for sharing!
